They should really change their name to Class A+ Autobody. Had a minor accident with my car which required the bumper to be refinished and painted, new headlight replacement and front quarter panel to be fixed. The job they did was flawless. On top of that, my car was a bit of a mess that I needed to clean, they did a full in and out clean up on my car that was on par with a full detail job, for free. My car looked showroom fresh when I picked it up from them. Highly recommend. This is my new go-to autobody shop. My car was an accident and there was front end damage. The car was fixed and seems to be in good shape. The repair time was awesome.

I had famage to my oil pan and was told specifically that an oil change was done. They lied but I took their word for it and I pray no major damage occurred from the lack of oil in my engine. To my surprise the oil change place told me my dipstick was almost completely dry. This was a real betrayal ill never forgive. And now I know never ever ever take any mechanics word as true. I want to preface with the fact that I went through ny insurance so Im not sure if that made a difference but from the moment i dropped my car off to the moment I picked it up, I was satisfied. The guy who accessed the damage is very honest and pleasant. He told you exactly what to expect and when. This has been a challenge I got my car back about 3weeks ago before I left the lot I noticed light was on for washer fluid oil light CD player doesn't work anymore My BMW is driving like it wasn't repaired I voiced my concerns with Dan I was told that he would have to speak with owner about a rental waited and waited was told no wasn't until I spoke with someone named Mike who spoke with owner rental car was provided . DON'T COME HERE!!!!! I was skeptical about coming here in the first place, but I was sending my car to BMW and then BMW would send it to them. I figured they would have to do a great job because they would want to keep BMW's business. I was DEAD wrong. They get the car on a Monday. I call and ask Mike how long the process will take and he tells me it would take two, two and a half weeks TOPS for my car to be finished. Two weeks rolls around I don't hear a words from them. Two and a half weeks comes and I give THEM a call. Mike tells me that everything was done yesterday (Tuesday), but they just need to put the car back together and he then tells me it should be done by Friday or Saturday. ??? It's takes fours days to put a window in and my back seat? I think that's an excessively long time and I could have probably done it quicker myself. I was going away on Friday so I didn't care that much and said what ever I'll be back Tuesday so make sure it's done by then. Mike proceeds to reassure me saying that it will be done before then and they will send the car right to BMW. I get back Tuesday and have heard nothing from my BMW representative. So I ask where's my car. He tells me that the auto body shop said they were waiting on a paint supplement to finish my car. But mike told me the car was finished painting on Tuesday and it just needed to be put back together. So that was shady business right there. Wednesday comes and BMW tells me the car is done, a WEEK later than what Mike originally told me. They took a full week to put the car back together? That's completely ridiculous and insensitive in regards to my time and money due to the fact that I was renting a car. BUT IT GETS WORSE. I go to check out the car, and they didn't put the door in right!!! They had a WEEK to put the car back together and make sure my car was perfect and they couldn't even do that??? Again, ridiculous. And that wasn't the only thing wrong with the car. They scratched up my spoiler, didn't correctly install the window trim, did not replace the liner by the wheel, the side skirt was not flush with the rest of the car, and the tail light was lose!!! These are easy things that they CHOSE to half ass and not do correctly. Now it's been a total of FOUR WEEKS and I go to check it out. They "fixed" the door and that's about it. The door is not perfect because there is still a gap from the door to the rear quarter panel but at this point I want my car and I know they won't be able to do better than that because they are incapable of doing their job. Due to the lose tail light I thought we should check the battery because water can get into the battery through the lose tail light, and I was right. There was a puddle of water surrounding my battery and rust. This really gets me annoyed because they risked my entire car all because they couldn't tighten the tail light? Again, blatantly irresponsible of them. And they STILL didn't tighten the tail light completely. Now I send it back for the THIRD TIME because I want to make sure no more water goes in my tail tight. Now FOUR AND A half WEEKS later I got my car back. Third times the charm, the tightened the tail light correctly, and cleaned up the water and rust that was by the battery. Still took them three days to do something as simple as that? Oh and they had to order a new black trim piece, after having my car for four and half weeks and me sending the car back three times, now you want to order the piece? Mike also tried to make it seem like he did SO much EXTRA things for the car but he only fixed the things THEY messed up on in the first place! Also when I went to pick up the car I called before hand so they knew I was coming. After everything you'd think they would want to make me happy, but no. They still made me wait 20 minutes for them to send it back to BMW. Mike's excuse was that they had to clear the way because there was a tow truck blocking the ENTRANCE. There was nothing blocking the exit so again, ridiculous. Also, mike repeated insulted the way my car was vinyl wrapped which is extremely rude. Who insults a costumers car? And he tried to blame that my hood was not correctly positioned due to he fact that who ever vinyl wrapped it must have taken off the hood. I know for a fact that nothing was removed when it was vinyl wrapped. Again, I thought that was extremely rude of him to try and blame the vinyl wrap people when he really has no clue about that situation. Also the secretary was extremely rude as well. To conclude, if you want someone to take your money and not even order new parts, take double the time they said it would and triple the time it should really take, only fix the car 50% and do a TERRIBLE job on your car, take it here! read more

I've dealt with Class A Autobody for 6 years. Recently i had a problem with a vehicle i own and was relying on them to give me professional service. I was pushed aside timewise over a $8,500++ cash deal that "they didn't have time" to do. Eventually after giving me the run around they said they could not help me, as in they did not want to over the simple reason "they don't do complete paint jobs". DO NOT GO HERE I don't understand how this place has good reviews. I have a bMW which got hit when it was parked - it happened twice. Work was done poorly - the front light needed to be replaced and there is always condensation inside of the light cover every since it was fixed. This is the shop that park Ave bMW brings cars to for body work when you drop it off at park Ave bMW. Second time park Ave bMW brought my car to this shop for body work - every time I called for an update Class A would tell me they would call me back AND TAKE MY NUMBER DOWN - no call backs - when I called again they told me they have the parts for repair and are working on it. 10 days later my insurance tells me the car wasn't even touched. I spoke with Dan, one of the managers, and asked why their employee would tell me false information and not inform me on the update, he said "this is what is it, nothing we can do about it now". Would not take responsibility. Very unprofessional. Dishonest. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP AND MAKE SURE YOU TELL PARK AVE BMW THAT YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CAR REPAIRED HERE. I really had to think about this and come down off my emotionally fueled thoughts so that I can represent what I think is a true representation for this review. About 18 months ago I drove over a manhole cover on a scraped road that was unmarked. The front end of my car underneath was damaged. My buddy got his vehicle fixed at Class A Autobody, and he knows and has a personal friendship with a former Geico rep that works out of their office. I was referred to Class A my buddy who had his car fixed there. What's better than a referral from a close friend that already had a good experience, right? And away we go. I thought, off the bat there was $3,000 - $4,000 worth of damage to the undercarriage of my car. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call from George, the owner of Class A and told me the whole project would cost just shy of $1,000 and it could be fixed in two days. In fact, I was elated. He asked if I wanted to go through insurance or just pay for it cash. If I went through insurance, it was a self reported accident, and my premium might go up. I opted to pay cash. Fixed... Car drove great. . . . . . . . Until, I had it in the dealership to have some suspension work done on it 18 months later... "Um, Jack, did you hit anything?" Asked the rep at the dealership/ "Why," I asked. ....Hesitation from the rep, "The subframe of the front end of your car is bent. We're not sure how our guy missed it the first time, but that is what's causing the thumping near the driver side tire of your car." Me, "Let me, oh, the manhole cover 18 months ago.... Does that sound like it might be the culprit?" (not verbatim). "Yes." The long and short of this story is that the cost to replace the subframe of my vehicle was $3,500, give or take because of some credits the dealership gave me for work I had done on the suspension (kudos to them for stepping up, and will be getting a good review on Yelp)... Now for the realization... I called Class A to ask about getting a price to replace the subframe because of the previous damage. At this point I wasn't even angry about what I will illustrate below. I just wanted a price to get it fixed. The issue: 1. When I asked about it and getting a price, George the owner gave me an attitude over the phone and told me the following: A. He needed to see the vehicle and/or get all the information from my dealership's rep, whom he said he knew and and my rep also said he knew. B. He admitted they did the "minimal work" to get the car back on the road when he looked up my account on his computer, and reiterated it. C. He said he would connect with my guy at the dealership and get back to me with a price. Now, let me say... Crickets.... No return call at all from George at Class A Autobody. Probably in fear that he screwed up and there could be legal ramifications, or he's just lazy. Who knows. He had my contact information. It is in his computer. He had to "look me up" as he called it while we were on the phone. Let me say, had I known there was realistically $4,000+ worth of damage to my car, I would have paid the 500 dollar deductible and put it through insurance. I was NEVER given the option to fix the vehicle with a full estimate from the full damage. NEVER. Personally this is unethical in order to get a $1,000 quick job and money in the door. Horrible business. Second, to admit he did "minimal work" to get it back on the road does not sound safe to me, nor do I feel like would be legally to his advantage had I really been a jerk about it and contacted my attorney. This is NJ, and attorneys love stupid crap like this from a guy like me that would pay for it. Third, according to my guy at the dealership, he never got back to him either. I commissioned my dealership to completely replace the subframe of the vehicle. I got it back in a week, and seems to drive great. Just got back from a 10 hour road trip and it was great. The staff there is accommodating, but being accommodating is no replacement for doing the job right the first time and giving ALL the information to your customers so that they can make an informed decision about the vehicle they are spending a lot of money on to own. I don't understand cutting corners. I was not brought up this way... I would have paid for the fix if I had to. I had the money in the bank at the time. Still do. There is no doubt in my mind there were corners cut here, and I feel like I needed to publish this review to warn others that may contemplate bringing their vehicle to Class A for a comprehensive fix. I've been dealing with Class A' for many years and they never cease to amaze me with their work. They did a complete paint job including some sheet metal work to make my 66 look great. It's been a few years since they did this and the paint still looks like the day I took it home. They even fixed something that the previous owners bodyshop messed up and hid beneath the vinyl top. If you're looking for a place to take your stock or custom car, this is the place. Class A' is the only shop I would recommend to anyone that says they need frame, bodyand/or paint work ...no matter the size of the job they can handle it. They're multi manufacturer certified and the work is always at or above the factory standards. I had to take my car in for some bodywork after having an accident and the establishment was very professional from the beginning to the end of my experience. I was about an hour late arriving to my appointment because of traffic, but they got to me as soon as the earlier appointment was complete and explained everything during the process. I had to leave for a business trip the following week and they worked hard to get me my car before I had to leave. They did an excellent job, cleaned the car, and had it ready for me when they promised. The waiting area is nice, clean and comfortable. The final presentation of your paperwork and documents are put into a nice folder so everything you need to refer to after the fact can be kept together. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great customer service and body work. read more

I also don't understand all the great reviews. My car took 5 days to even get looked at. They say before you get the car there that they will keep you informed, but they didn't at all. I had to keep calling, only to get an attitude. Car wad finally done, and it was noticeably not right. Had to leave it again. Stay far away from this place. Customer service is lacking, and they just want to get paid on sub par work at its best. I would rate it a zero if I could. read more

My wife got into an accident and Geico had her truck towed to Class A Autobody. At first we were hesitant about getting the repairs done there just because we had a family friend who worked at another auto body shop; but it ended up being the best choice we made.
