My car was at Main Auto from 12/2/24 to 1/8/25. It took my insurance adjustor 2 weeks to give them the "go ahead" to fix it and that was just a few days before Christmas. Parts were ordered the same day but you know how things slow down during the holidays! But Jim at Main Auto didn't waste any time working on my car. He kept me informed on what needed to be done. Lorna in the office was a tremendous help in keeping me up-to-date on what was happening and was so friendly and reassuring. Meryl also was extremely helpful the last couple of days that my car was in the shop and informed me that I could drop my rental car at the Enterprise near the auto body and someone would be able to drive me over. I had no idea that Enterprise could offer that service and it made picking up my car so much easier and stress-free! My car looks good as new and drives perfectly! Main Auto Body owner Mike and his team are exceptional across the board. My 2021 Mazda CX-5 was in a minor accident that damaged the rear driver side door. Mike provided me an estimate an hour after he took at look at the extent of the damage at his shop. They blended the factory paint perfectly while keeping the body lines symmetrical. I wanted a shop that was fair with the pricing, but also made the car look like it was never in any type of accident. Main Auto body did just that. Pricing was very fair for the cost on labor, parts, and materials in today's world. Disgustingly unethical shop! What I just dealt with was appalling!!! Some guy Named "Mo" was as rude and unprofessional as they come! I was told I could pick my car up on Friday before close. Their website said closing time was 5 o'clock and their Facebook page said their closing time was 530, I arrived at a little after 4:30 to find a close shop and upon calling them, there was no answer and what's worse, even the voice recording says they close at 5:00, as I am standing in front of a closed shop at 4:40. Their website and Facebook said close at 5:00 or 5:30.....it also said that they were open on Saturdays till 1 o'clock upon request or appointment. They don't answer their phone, so how can you make one? So I go there on Saturday to pick up my car no one is there, or answering, I Facebook messaged them, direct message them, emailed them, called them, 100 times, nothing! Upon arriving today the Monday after, I am told I'm being hit with four days storage fee, there was a town fee, a labor, see, like two or three other different kinds of fees, adding an additional $430 on top of the transaction . And getting to deal with "Mo" was just the icing on the cake! Do not let these people anywhere near your vehicle. If you want a fair and ethical transaction, this place doesn't offer that it's a snatch and grab, and that kind of business that gives the auto industry the reputation it has . read more

Actually the worse place ever, a deer ran into my car about two weeks ago and I took it to Main Auto Body and they were not helpful at all. My car sat in the shop for an entire week and some days with no communication at all. It seems as if they didn't wanna fix my car and Michael said my car is totaled repeatedly. Even the flake pattern that is in my paint runs in the same pattern, what amazing attention to detail. They kept me updated throughout the whole process, and picking up was easy and painless. I was in an accident in February. The Lodi police department had my car towed here so I decided to use their services. My car was determined to be a total loss. When I went back to get my belongings from the car I guess I forgot my ez pass... because here we are 3 months later and there's $100 in charges on my ez pass account in one day... I have not been driving because I have not gotten a new vehicle yet.. it's like they sell off old ez passes to truck drivers or something. Very shady, would not recommend. One of the fog lights had to be replaced and Mike went above and beyond to get me the aftermarket yellow LED lights I had. Most places would just replace it with original manufacture equipment. Great service. What else can I say. I was referred here by my insurance for repairs to by back bumper. Made the appointment and within the same week had the appraisal completed. They booked me for repairs about 3 weeks later (my car was road-safe, just not pretty looking on the back end - bumper was scratched up pretty bad, bent out of shape due to the impact and the tailgate was dented well too) When I dropped the car off for the repairs that Monday, they had an adjuster come out to reveiw the condition of the car with me (existing dents and dings) and said they would give me a call as the week went on but it would be ready by Friday. Turns out they had to perform some additional work due to a previous accident that was never repaired to be able to fix the bumper and tailgate, so I had to pay for that out of pocket but they were upfront about the costs before I authorized the repairs. Friday afternoon they called, my car was ready to pick up after work and when I got there I could have sworn they had given me a brand new car - Washed inside and out, waxed, the whole 9. They took care of all the insurance paperwork, all the insurance calls, worked with the other driver's insurance company for payment from them - just made it an incredibly easy experience to have my car fixed after being in an accident that wasn't my fault. I'd like to start off by saying this place really has good customer service, the ladies at the desk takes care of your needs and calls you to give you updates on your car. I dealt with Peter once and with Mike once. I agree %100 percent with "Chris C" review below. The first time I gave them a brand new grand Cherokee to fix a deep dent in the rear door, they fixed very good, BUT they messed up something else, there was a lot of over spray on the car, on roof top, door panels and door sills, a lot of it that I still use a clay bar once in awhile to clean it up. The second time on the same car just 2weeks ago, very small damage in the front bumper, required 9 days of repair and 2400 dollars cost of repair, but it was the person that backed up to me that paid for it, so anyway got my car on Wednesday looked around it was ok, the front bumper was repaired right. BUT AGAIN, they messed up something else, my car had so many scratches on parts that didn't even have work on, and despite that when I went back I brought the over spray up to his attention and he said will take care of it but never have, he said "we tried but I don't know" Anyway the next day when I went back I told Peter that I wasn't happy with the work because I found so much scratches and clear coat swirls all over the car and you checked the car before I gave you the key and it wasn't like that, I know my car. He said yes I can see it. So he brought his detailer looked at it and got a wax spray and just wiped it off, it looked little better but I can still see the scratches. after 2 attempts unfortunately I won't be returning again, I really wanted to like this place and I gave them 2 chances, Oo the interior, if you are going to get in other peoples cars for some reason to move it around or something, you should it least cover the seat or clean it when you are done, specially on black suede seats. And why even did I find dirt on my trunk mats, looked like flour or some white powder? Why did you even have to open the trunk? They didn't even bother wiping down the finger prints from the steering wheel, dashboard and doors. Hopefully I won't need to use a body shop again, but if I do need one it's not going to be main auto body again, they let me down. read more

I would like to agree with most of the reviews about Main Auto body. What I will say is that they do keep you very informed and have pretty good customer service. My issue is that I've had 3 separate repairs done on vehicles and every time after the repair is done the interior of the cars are filthy and they never complete the repairs and I have to bring the cars back so they can fix what they missed. The other issue is that every time I've gotten my cars back there has been additional damage done and I have to have that repaired. Again what I will say is that they always take the cars back to re repair what they didn't fix the first time and when they for get to add clear coat because they warranty for life. But when it comes to damage that they cause it's a little more of a challenge to get them to work on it. I use them because USAA send me there and it's less of a hassle to take it to them. But going forward if I need repairs done I'll bring it elsewhere. They just need to take a little care and possibly have a QC person inspect the work and stay out of the damn interior of the car unless necessary. I just went to pick up my car from them after it was towed due to an accident at 8pm at night. I was expecting to pay for one night storage and a tow fee the car was in its storage for less then 15hrs. well they over charge me they said It was two days storage and tow fee. Very expensive and rude. I would of had my car fixed but sense I had to speak with 3 ppl to get the price off towing and storage it felt like they were making it up as they went along. My car was towed here after my 19 year old son was hit on his way to school.This was the first accident for my family period so I really didn't know how to go about doing things and they knew this,because I explained that too them.He told my that my Chrysler 300 was no good anymore and not worth repairing at a quote of over $4,000 and that is just what he claimed what he can see just from looking at it.Told me he drove my car a little bit and it was no good.Then changed his story when me and my sister talked to him face to face!Saying he thought I told him my car didn't drive good before it was hit.It was towed there on a Tues and I got a call from them that Fri saying to just junk it,we'll junk it for you and don't worry about the storage fee,we can just call it a wash!!So I took my sister with me and after we had cleaned my car completely out and something told us to start it up and move it a little bit and what do you know car was totally drivable just needed some work like the right fender,light and bumper & grill.I'm so disappointed they tried to take advantage!Took it to Maaco and not only got it repaired but a new paint job for half of what he was saying it would cost!So glad I paid him his $300 storage fee and took my car up out of there! read more
