Overall, I had a good experience with MCA Tree Services. The work itself was good, but there were…read moresome communication issues that kept the experience from being perfect. The biggest issue was scheduling. They couldn't provide an exact arrival time and only said they would be there in the early afternoon, but they ended up arriving later than expected. It would have been helpful to have a more specific time window or better communication if the schedule changed. There was also some confusion about the scope of the work. I had sent pictures beforehand, but they weren't aware that I wanted the entire tree removed as well as an additional stump taken out. Thankfully, this was something that could be discussed and addressed. Overall, I'm happy with the service and appreciate the work they did. With better communication, scheduling, and confirmation of the requested work beforehand, this easily could have been a 5-star experience.

He took the time to talk about the project, how to properly care for and trim citrus trees, and he was able to schedule the project for the next day. They came by and completed everything quickly and did an amazing job. After the project was completed we were able to have them back out in a few days to plant shrubs and transplant a hibiscus tree! Again, quick, efficient and job well done. Next we plan to work with them to trim our giant pine, and help us create a planter wall- two things that've been on our "list" for a long time. Over all working with this company was a great experience. I highly recommend them! Also- pricing was very reasonable, and aligned with other quotes we received.

The palm fronds were left at base of the tree, and on my neighbors fence, and my outdoor lights were broken and ripped off the house. The hot wire could have electriculted my family or my dogs. Then he started on the ash tree. He cut off huge sections at once that would swing down out of control. The first landed on my fence. The next few cuts brought huge limbs swinging into my house and damaging my new roof. I stopped the work and asked Fernando what we were going to do about all this damage. He asked me to go pick up materials and said he would fix my new roof and fence himself. After seeing his poor workmanship halfway into the day, I thought hiring him to do roofing work would be a very bad idea. We couldn't come to an agreement so I fired him on the spot and hired a real professional company to finish the work.
