It took me awhile to use the certificate but I finally did last week and I wish I would have done it sooner! Amber was very nice, easy to talk to, accommodating and beyond talented! I went in with damaged hair from a boxed bleach job that left patches of dark hair throughout and over a year of roots. Amber suggested adding some highlights and lowlights in order to blend my roots into the bleached ends and she topped it off by trimming my split ends and styling my hair to perfection. I couldn't be happier! Everyone that has seen me loves the new look as well. The vibe at the shop was cute and laid back. Perfect for Park Circle. I will definitely be returning the next time I need my hair done. I've actually already spoken to Amber about doing a Brazilian blowout next. Highly recommend this salon.

I had my haircut with Sara, and she was so sweet and incredibly talented. I explained what I was hoping to achieve, and she took the time to offer her input based on my hair type and daily routine, which is something I really value in a stylist. She listened to what I wanted while also making thoughtful recommendations that worked for me. I left so happy with my haircut and couldn't be more pleased with the results. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment with Sara!

Unfortunately, the final result did not reflect what was promised. I expressed my concerns immediately. Although I returned for a complimentary correction the following day and spent several hours at the salon, the outcome remained unacceptable. I requested a refund due to misrepresentation and unsatisfactory results. The salon refused, citing a strict "no refunds" policy, even though the service did not match what had been represented to me beforehand. I have time-stamped photos and video taken at and immediately after my appointment documenting the condition of my hair. I am sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision before booking. If you value clear communication, accountability, and results that match what is promised, I would advise proceeding with caution.

I have a lot of hair, it's wavy and can be a lot that not everyone is used to working with. Honestly I saw that Sarah had Lucious curly hair in her profile and picked her immediately out of the line up. I booked this online, it was fairly easy and they do a good job of giving you updates and reminders. I did not do a good job of reading the full details upon arriving so I showed up on their first floor salon. I got checked in by a very lovely young hostess and she escorted me to the other location which was up the stairs and away from the main floor. I'm so glad she showed me because I would've been so lost! lol She offered me a glass of sparkling wine while I waited. Both salons were so cute and chic, the decor was exotic and exciting. I sipped on my Prosecco and was taken in shortly after. I got a wash and she conditioned my hair before cutting it. Then she took her gracious time to blow out all of my hair and even did some touch ups with her iron to put the finishing touches on it. My hair was feeling light, sleek and smooth! We conversed throughout my visit and she was very friendly, and beautiful! Everything cost $85 and I left a $20 tip! I thought that was a very reasonable price for the service provided. Thanks Sarah!

They did not paint the dye on the hair, instead they used foils exactly like full foil, and the color was uneven - from brassy browns, to orange caramel blondes, to bright whites near my face. They placed the highlights completely randomly. I will not be going back due to my 250$ bill and my stylist's inability to candidly admit she did not know how to do balayage. I felt like I should not have paid for a service that was clearly done incorrectly and wasn't what we had agreed upon. Naturally brunette, as an ex-California girl, I was a blonde for 15 years. My ex-stylist was insistent on tape in extensions, and they ruined my hair, almost ripped to the scalp in the back. Ashley knew that my hair couldn't handle bleach any longer and discussed balayage with me. She also took a few inches of my destroyed ends off, and although the color change and shorter hair were a big change, I love my hair! It looks healthier than it has in years, the color is multi dimensional and FUN, and I was so impressed by her professionalism and that she consulted with other stylists before starting to fix my destroyed hair, I can't wait to go back. Oh, they also gave me a very expensive conditioning packet to protect my hair. First class all of the way, next appointment is on St. Patrick's Day, and I know that Shag will be my salon for as long as we live in Mount Pleasant (hopefully, this is our forever home!).
