The salon booked me with level 4 stylist, Amie. She is very personable and we chatted the whole time. All of the employees that work for the salon seem to enjoy the work environment and culture, which always makes the experience pleasant for customers. I was the only customer in the salon for the majority of my cut--wouldn't have minded if it had been slammed. Amie gave me the best "wash before cut"! This time she was with a dofferent stylist, Rylie, who decided to do a "root smudging" treatment without informing her or telling her it would bring her total to $290 including tip. When I called to discuss the person on the phone said no one was there to remedy the situation. She said she would get back to me before the end of the day and she did not. My daughter was totally taken advantage of and this was very unethical. They advertise transparency on their website but that was definitely not our experience. Buyer beware. Very disappointed in their lack of attention to make this right. Instead a received a text saying that she consulted my daughter before doing the root smudge. Never were these words used and never did Rylie tell her this was an additional cost to whatever she supposedly did. Her hair doesn't even look different from when she went it. Crooks.

I tend to get a bit nervous going to new salons since I've had some bad blonde-ing experiences, but Carol (with some great help from her daughter) was absolutely amazing!!! She evened out a few bands I had from a previous stylist, and got me to an amazing, even platinum color (from very dark brown hair). What was even more impressive was she did this in 2 hours flat - typically I spend twice that long in the salon to do the same thing. With 40 years of experience, Carol is a rock star stylist.
