Eddie World is a dynamic world filled with diverse foods, flavors, coffees, and candies for all. Our family has been visiting Las Vegas (from LA) for decades and our usual stops have been McDonalds, Taco Bell, and the usual spots in Barstow. Granted Eddie's distinct ice cream tower had caught our attention for years, we never went because we felt it was far off. This time however, we decided to give it a try, and goodness, we're so glad we did! They had candy options which were enormous, and were filled with Mexican candies, chocolates, gummies, and sour patches; it felt like a grocery store for candies and chocolates. They had great pizza, too and at an affordable price. They had Peet's coffee which also catered to those wanting caffeine on-the-way as well. And, their seating was right outside a beautiful mountain viewpoint, too. Most of all, their ice creams were delicious. Our entire family tired all different types, and the gentleman who served us, Isaiah was awesome! The customer service and options at Eddie's World makes this place a perfect road stop for anyone traveling through. I personally would rate it the best road stop in California because there is something for everyone (including vegans, vegetarians, and meat lovers). read more

They got you. Need some lunch? They got you. Need to use the bathroom? They got you there too (with more than one stall available). They also have some really good house made ice cream. FYI: This place gets crowded. Expect to wait in line to pay. Parking is uncovered, but plentiful. If you have an electric car, they have a few charging stations there. read more

Best stop on the way home from Vegas? Freshly made Pizza and ice cream is elite! I recommend the pesto chicken pizza with their ranch. Jerky is overpriced in my opinion but definitely as for samples prior to purchase. read more

Fun stop on the way home from Vegas but average food and slightly high prices. I expect higher prices given it's in Yermo (middle of no where) but it kept me from buying much. I would speculate it's a buc-ees light type experience, but I've never been to one, so maybe I'd say it's a travel gas station or 7-11 on steroids or if you've been to Haley's off the 10 freeway near Palm Springs - kinda like that. I can't get over this place a month later..... I saved this review to let the Worlds largest gas station sink in. Now I've been to the worlds largest truckstop up in Iowa on interstate 80 but I really wanted to come here a lot of times when I seen the billboards advertising up and down the 15 in both directions. So I stopped in and I'm trying to really find something great to say about this over priced Food Court. Yes, there is a coffee, pizza, beef jerky, deli, ice cream decision to be made. The bulk foods I will give them hands down for all of that and toys and normal candy store selection. Inside here the atmosphere is great and a lot to do here with gas lanes and kids and people everywhere. I wanted to try the beef jerky. 4 people were in line for that and it looked fresh, good and from a showcase so I should of caught that hint. In a showcase and have to ask for someone to serve it. I told the kid it was my 1st time here and what did he recommend? He said The Cowboy was his favorite and having a special. He could basically give me a pound of Cowboy jerky and then give me the pound of Teriyaki free. I said, That's a good deal, I'll take it. Break it up 1/2 pound quarter bags so I could take some home." And he did just that. He offered 3 oz of jerky for Bossy and I'd also take that. He rang it up to $97.00!!!!! I said, "WHAT??????" He said the pound of Cowboy is $79.00 and Teriyaki was free, Dog treats at $20. So whatever... here take the money and I'm still trying to figure out if it's a tourist trap or I really did come for good stuff? Don't get me wrong me and 3 other people agreed the jerky was very tender, not hard, flavorful and I was very happy to share the jerky for the experience but I'm still contemplating on going back there again. I can imagine years ago, Hunter Thompson driving down the Road to "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" and seeing a Giant Ice Cream Sundae in the desert. He would have thought it was part of his "trip!" EddieWorld does have a Giant Ice Cream Sundae that looks especially cool at night, all lit up. It is a tourist/rest stop that has its charms including a large selection of gifts to buy as souvenirs for your family to take back. The bathroom are Exceptionally clean and free of charge. They have a large Fast Food type restaurant that can satisfy most appetites. They are have a VERY COOL attraction! They have one of the parquet floors from Center Court from the Great Western Forum in its "Laker Showtime Heyday!" They have a velvet guarding it, put I managed to get close enough to touch it. This is a fun place to stop, and I'm sure the kids would love it. Just make sure to have Souvenir money! read more

After noticing this place on our previous trip to Vegas and looking it up, we decided to check it out while heading again to Vegas. It was awesome! Aisles and aisles of candy, nuts, dried fruit, jerky, and fried veggies. A Peet's coffee, jerky counter, ice cream section, kettle corn, slushy drinks, and a counter selling fried chicken tenders, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and salads! Clean bathrooms too. We stop by here both ways on our trip. Will come back again. We got the chicken tenders with fries and a biscuit without the cajun seasoning and it was way better than when I tried Raising Cains last summer. Got a cone of English Toffee ice cream that was a perfect dessert. Bought a bunch of snacks too, including a bag of fried okra which we love. They sell gas too but I couldn't tap to pay at the two pumps I used. Also the first pump didn't work at all and I had to drive to another one. I'm deducting a star for that. Otherwise, we'll definitely come back here the next time we go to Vegas but may get gas somewhere else. read more

This is now everyone's go-to place for a rest stop. It's new and clean. They sell every snack and drink imaginable. Their homemade ice cream is delicious. The restrooms are clean. They have AC. They also have Peet's Coffee. They have a cafe that serves entrees like burgers, hot dogs, chicken, and pizza. They organize animal plushes by species on top of every snack shelf. They also have a gas station next door. Everything here is a one-stop shop. I highly recommend everyone to check out this place from now on. read more

EddieWorld is starting to go downhill and I hope they fix these issues soon. 1. They sell most bulk candy at $6.99 per lb (and higher) and then package all of the candy in bags that are slightly more than a pound. If I want to try new candies, I don't want an entire pound of them and at $7+ a package. I suspect I'm not alone as many of their packages of gummy candies feel hard, as if they've been sitting on a shelf for a long time. Why not package candy in smaller amounts so that people can try multiple types? Will I buy 3, 1/3 lb bags for $7? Sure. Will I buy 1 lb of 1 candy for $7? No. 2. Bathrooms used to have automatic handle covers and toilet covers that have now been removed and replaced with regular door handles and toilet seats. 3. Whatever bathroom cleaner they use STINKS! Mix that smell with the nasty human smells of the bathroom and I just want to get in and out. 4. Popcorn kitchen is dead space now. Wish they'd turn it into a spot that had something cool like boba teas or something that isn't pizza, chicken finger and chips. read more

I love coming to Eddie's world. I always stop on the way going to Vegas and always on the way back to pick up some goodies. They have so much great stuff. I really love their homemade ice cream. they also have this beef jerky stand they have exotic beef jerky, like peppered buffalo is the best. They have little restaurants, coffee station, popcorn, station, large selection of goodies, candies, fruits, dried fruits, you name it they got it, and a huge drink selection. ... oh and I can't forget about. They also have a gas station. Employees are always friendly, very clean restrooms. I do highly recommend stopping here. read more

There is so much candy to look at. Their prices are high and several stuffed animals to choose from. Food is way overpriced.

Not a good experience for our first visit. We stopped by for snacks on our way home and purchased a bag of Kettle Chips. When we opened them they smelled of dirty oil and they were expired. I would recommend that you look at the expiration date on anything that is purchased there. Too far to return so a total waste of money. read more

I only stopped here once before for a bathroom break. On our bus trip to Dana Point, this was a pit stop break and a place to get a snack or more until dinner hours later. I got in line at the fast food area and I ordered the Yermo fire burger. It was a burger with chipotle aioli, pickled jalapeños, red onion, Carolina reaper cheddar, tomato, and lettuce. I ordered it for eat in, but it was brought in a bag and the receipt was marked to go. I found a table on the side and enjoyed my burger. There was no fire to it although there was a small amount of spicy. The next day on the way back to Las Vegas, we stopped here again for a snack and pit stop. I got in line in the ice cream area and got a cup with two scoops of cookie dough ice cream. It was very good and a great snack for our quick stop. read more

We always stop here to charge on the way to and from Las Vegas. They have the best pizza I have ever had ! I always get the Pesto add pepperoni. I came with friends and they loved it. They have fresh brisket jerky. It's $$ but well worth the money. The texture is soft, very flavorful. My favorite was the lemon pepper. Looking for a good midway stop between Vegas and Los Angeles? Look no further than EddieWorld. Almost any snack you could think of is available inside this HUGE store. Nice clean and well maintained restrooms with Dyson hand driers. There is a Jedidiah's jerky shop inside with prepackaged jerky available on restroom side of the store. From Cadillac gummies to butter toffee nuts or Asian imported candy to tamarind candy. They have a true plethora of snacks, aisles and aisles. This visit we got some driving jerky, black pepper beef jerky 5/5 (dryer) and sweet and spicy beef brisket 5/5 very moist. I opted to sample some ghost pepper and turkey jerky at the counter, both good. Doors and doors of cold beverages including my favorite RED BULL! ;-D Chevron gas available outside as well as Tesla Superchargers and regular EV chargers located near the HUGE sundae which you cannot miss from the freeway. Okay EddieWorld you need to have Texas Buc-ee's training if you want to compete with the big boys. Right now you are the little fish playing in the big boy pond. If you have to stop for gas or a bathroom break then do but otherwise you aren't missing much. Bathroom has plenty of space but on a cleaning scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 6. Tried some of the on-site fast food and it'll fill you up but not much more. Lots of snacks but quality seems to be mid-level at best. The presentation of snacks gives the vibe they've been sitting there awhile. The locals must know this because it wasn't well populated and only 2 cashiers at the front so there was a line. All-in-all made me long for a Buc-ees! read more

Once upon a time, as we were camping and playing near CalicoGhost Town, a group of friends waxed poetic about "Crazy Eddie's." They declared you could buy anything here! From ton's of candy choices to the nuts and snacks - the choice seemed endless! The food court areas appealed to the younger members of the group. The prices were a bit steep, hence the lower rating. Decided to stop by since I needed a bathroom break on the way to Vegas. Took me a very long time to find the restrooms as I would get distracted by the plethora of various snacks and candy. I wasn't planning on buying any snacks or candy and resisted as long as I could. Eventually I gave in and bought two different party mix snack bags and dried pineapple with chili. There's also a food court inside, ice cream shop, beef jerky shop, and a Peet's coffee that appears to still be shut down. They also sell a lot of stuffed toys and large variety of drinks. The cashier that helped me had a cute accent and was really friendly. The bathroom was nice and clean. This place may be my new rest stop on the drive to Vegas. read more

The prices are a little high, although when are prices low these days. The ambience is usually very hustle and bustle. Very fast, casual feel. It's typically pretty loud.
