We stopped off at Eddie World to get gas. The prices for gas was reasonable but some of the keypads at the pumps wouldn't work when you try to pay with a credit. I ended up going inside and letting them know. I had to pay inside. My only issue is that with those machines with keypads don't work they should put a sign on them saying to pay inside instead of us inserting our credit card in the pump. The clear button wasn't even working. We didn't use any of the food counters or the restrooms but looked to be clean inside the store. read more

On our way back from Las Vegas, we were running out of EV charge. The car directed us to a an electric station, in Yermo, CA. And behold, we see and enter Eddie World. You will be awestruck the moment you walk in. The place is big, with a lot of merchandise, souvenirs, coffee and ice cream selections. It is a clean, cool, comfortable and welcome stop, after a long drive with nothing in sight. There are also spacious seating areas and pristine restrooms. Another bonus is the staff and service. Everyone was polite and friendly. You could spot several workers walking around, touching up displays, cleaning tables in the seating area, polishing, refilling condiment and beverage stations. If you see them while traveling through Yermo, you deserve a break. Get off the highway and pay them a visit. read more

As others have mentioned, great pit stop to and from Vegas. Good spot to rest and stretch for a bit. The restrooms are always clean despite how many people pass through. FYI the women's restroom has two sides, so check to see which side has a shorter line. I haven't purchased anything from the food court, but they have plenty of seating inside and outside. I always grab chamoy mango (or watermelon if they have it) sour belts and gas on the way out. read more

I finally got to pull over when driving to Las Vegas and come to this cute place. It's actually better than I thought and way bigger. They have a plethora of clean bathrooms, a food court area and a huge array of candy and snacks and beef jerky and even slushy. I am so glad I came here and it will be a place we always stop at. This place is a gas station as well so you can fuel up and get some food and stretch those legs. It's also so cute and clean and the staff seemed to be good at working well together and handling those lines. and yea there was a line but it moved rather quickly with the fast and efficient staff! We came by here again in November 2023 on our way back from Vegas to OC. It's always a fun stop because you can grab a quick bite to eat (pizza, burger), and there's fresh ice cream too. But on a highway between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, this place should be fully operational 24/7... but they shut down portions (counters devoted to specific foods) at some point in the evening. Also, there's quite a bit of candy that is quite expensive though it's just re-packaged into bags or wrapping with the store's branding. It's an interesting place but you probably won't leave feeling you need to visit again. If they were more fully operational at night it would be more compelling. read more

I've always wanted to go to Buc-ee's in Texas! But I heard EddieWorld is a mini version of it! During our road trip, we knew this was a must for snacks. I was a kid in a candy store. Literally. There's cool stuff all over this place. Candy, nuts, fruit, pizza, jerky, ice cream, popcorn, EVERYTHING! And I bought almost everything! I spent $50 on the jerky and I don't regret it one bit. They have the best jerky you'll ever have at Eddie's world. Lemon pepper is deeeeelicious. So tender and melts in your mouth like ice cream. The candy, how could I say no to melon sour ropes??? That taste like a fresh melon !! I couldn't get enough. They serve some really good pizza here too. Mini personal pizzas. My custom made one with EXTRA EXTRA PINEAPPLE was a total hit. So good. We used to always stop at the McDonald's in Barstow when we were heading to Vegas - but now that there's Eddie World, we have a new half-way point rest stop. This place is GREAT! It has EVERYTHING you need for a road trip - plus the bathrooms are decent. We like to pick up snackies to keep in our hotel room - our favorites are: yogurt covered pretzels (YUM!), dark chocolate peanuts with sea salt (SO GOOD!!), and this last time, we picked up some gummy - slightly sour - watermelon gummies. The gummies were really good. I usually like peach rings, but this time they seemed kinda hard. Oh, and we also picked up butter toffee peanuts that were delicious!!! They also have tons of beverages, a Peet's coffee shop, pizza, jerkey, ice cream and so many snacks - there's also lots of fun things for the kids - stuffed animals, toys, and Funko Pop figurines. Definitely something for everyone! For the Laker fans, they have Laker memorabilia on the back wall - including a piece of the Laker floor from when they played at The Forum. The prices are as high as the ice cream sculpture outside, but Eddie World is still a must stop for us on the way to California. The bathrooms are clean (usually), the food options are surprising (Sushi at a gas station?), and the electric charging stations are helpful. They have a large array of soda and drink options, chips, and some stands where you can get coffee, pizza, or quick bites such as sushi or chicken tenders. The main draw for people is the absolutely massive selection of pre-packaged candy in the center of the store. There must be at least 500 different varieties of gummy bears, chocolate dipped gummy bears, pretzels, gummy candies, and even some unique ones such as onion chips, freeze dried fruit, and tajin covered everything. There isn't much candy-wise that is suitable for vegetarians/vegans, but if you comb through the types, you should find some sour laces or sour belts that don't have gelatin. My only complaint is that the candies don't come in smaller packages, so you're going to pay anywhere from $8-$15 for a package of candy that you may or may not like if you're trying something new. This is probably strategic by the company, but I'm sure it's a headache for a lot of customers who have kids who aren't going to finish a 1lb bag of candy. EW is definitely geared more toward kids. The toys, coloring books, and stuffed animals are plentiful. During summer when school is out, the bathrooms become pretty awful, as does navigating the store in general. That being said, this is always a gem of a stop on a long road trip, as it is exactly halfway between Vegas and Los Angeles. It's nice to stretch your legs and have a look around. read more

They have a Turkey BLT sandwich that is excellent... but when I arrived they were only serving a partial menu so I had to settle for a Eddie burger and fries. I go to Vegas every few months and EddieWorld is usually a pit stop along the way. Spot the giant ice cream cone and you'll know you're in the right place. Can someone explain to me why they don't have an ice cream parlor inside that giant thing though!? That's a missed opportunity! EddieWorld has Tesla supercharging which is awesome & amazing! Word on my street is they have added some more charging stalls since my last trip two months ago. They also have some non-Tesla chargers, as well, but about half as many. Of course if you need regular gas, they have a ton of that, too. They claim to be Cali's biggest gas station! Once you enter, you are surrounded by candies, nuts and chocolates. There are so many options, it's overwhelming. And aside from that, you'll find a beef jerky section, a bunch of coolers with drinks (thank goodness for this on a road trip), a Mexican candy section, an ice cream area (but I haven't seen anyone working there on my trips yet and I really want to try it as it's made on site!), a couple restaurants (I can't vouch for them as I have only had grab & go options), hot sauces, popcorns, Peet's coffee station, slushies, and even a toy & stuffed animal section. Plus, Funkos! Suhhh kyoot. The only thing I wish they had were more namebrand candies, chocolates and chips. They have enough, don't get me wrong, and I know their own items are probably better...but they aren't cheap. I want my $2 Crunch bar with my coffee, lol. And on a road trip, you need bathrooms. EddieWorld has bathrooms and it's no issue or shame using them, yay! LOL. What a fabulous stop between Vegas and SoCal/Bakersfield/Bay Area on the 15! This is probably going to be my go-to over the usual Barstow road trip stopover. I pulled in on a Monday evening so it wasn't as busy as I imagine it gets. There are many charging stations for TESLAS etc and a huge bay for gas. The parking lot is huge and plenty of little spots for my dogs to sniff and get their business done. Walking into the store, it reminded me of KING NORMAN TOY STORE from back in the day with that toy and candy smell! That bit of nostalgia was refreshing. I had to walk around a little bit before I found the restrooms. They many have food options, drinks (oh my!), toys and candies. I decided to go to the PEETS coffee corner and tried the "black tie" which is their cold brew over condensed milk, chicory and half and half. I like it but I think a little more sweet condensed milk would make it epic. This area gets breezy so I was mindful of what I needed to quickly get in order from the cargo area of my SUV and secure my fur babies. read more
