Then I called 1 Chance Auto Accessories, in Aiken, which is farther away from me. I asked the gentleman on the other end, Michael, the same questions expecting the same type of response and to my surprise, he invited me to visit the store so he can explain and see my options. When I got there, he helped me right away. Even though it got busier, his focus was on me. Not an ounce of a "car-salesman mentality". I never felt pressured to buy anything and I was not rushed. He then gave me a printed quote. We set up a schedule for installation. Well, here I am writing a review that is very well deserved. It was worth my time to post this because he covered every area of customer service, professionalism, quality of product and installation, and value for your money. THEY prompted us to have the tailgate sprayed for $100. After they completed the work I was told actual cost was $180. No problem, I paid the $180. Righteous $80 cost them any future business from my company and from me personally.

If they would have been honest and fix the problem they created I would have given them an A+ rating. The dishonesty made everything good they done seem insignificant.

Weeks of no communication and me having to continuously call to try to get someone on the phone to give me info. I was told they are still trying to find the problem. after 3 months of very little and difficult to have communication, I was told that they couldn't figure it out and for me to come get it and just pay for the part. that was fine until I got there to get the truck. they had it sitting out back for so long that the battery (less than a year old) was dead and there were so many leaves on it I couldn't see the bed liner. The truck barely ran when i got which is 10x worse than when I gave it to them. Also, to top things off it appears that someone use the tailgate as a cutting board, because it has a ton of gouges in it. basically after 3 months of no communication I got my truck back with a dead battery, running way worse, gouges in my tailgate, and still had to pay them. if i had the choice of setting the truck on fire or let them work on it id choose the fire. the truck wouldn't be drivable either way but at least the fire would be faster
