My first restaurant experience in Milton (just moved here) and first time eating at a restaurant in 5 months (due to Covid) & I must say.. GREAT experience! Signage was posted in clear to read spots (hand sanitizer, social distancing etc), and staff were super friendly and pointed out all the changes. They explained everything thoroughly & gave us an info sheet to fill out (I assume as a precaution in case someone has COVID & they can notify customers). I did see the servers wipe and clean everything off before seating new customers. Now onto the main part - the food! I checked online for reviews and photos to base my order on, as well as asking the server for recommendations. My fiancé ordered the ultimate burger & he said it was really good - a bit greasy because the buns are flipped over but definitely going to be a repeat order! I ordered the beef dip sandwich, which surprised me. The Apple & Brie cheese on it was sooo good. The only thing I would've liked better was if the beef was easier to eat. It was tough to bite through, so it all came out of the sandwich a couple of times. But the flavour was great & I would recommend it. Sweet potato fries are also a MUST order! I'm glad we stumbled across this restaurant - we will definitely be back & bring friends. read more

With so many hoods dominated by the "Little Black Dress" Mafia...A.K.A. Joey's, Moxie's, Chop, S*J's, Earls - it's good to find a place that everyone knows your name. I'm not a regular but this place has a great feel. If I lived in Milton, I'd make this my bar of choice. Large bar area with round booths cladded in what appears to be brass, high and low tables, and a nice patio. Good selection of beers on tap. Lots of items on the menus (yes, they dropped off 5 things...3 sheets, a drink list, and a menu). Lots of TVs where needed. Service is friendly and prompt. Oh...decent amount of parking in available but could fill up fast. With a couple of projects starting in the far west end, I would probably be the Duke here for a good long time - or until one of my friends decide to unseat me cause he saw my check-ins! LOL! This place has it all for being in a suburban downtown.I have walked in on a weekday and weekends this place fairly is packed and happening. Ambiance: This place gets louder close to the bar but it's better to sit on the tables next to entrance if you plan to come here for dinner with people you might like to talk.The crowd is a mix of all ages.The place has a contemporary feeler to it.No fancy frills attached. Service: I have been here a few times and every time the service has been quick, friendly and accommodating.The bartenders are friendly and helpful even on the busiest nights.The ordered food comes out fast. Food: Overall I would say the food has good flavors.I have had calamari here which was fantastic, perfectly cooked which for me is little juicy and not rubbery served with delish aioli.For main course I have had pan seared salmon which was unbelievably good.Great burst of flavors without too much spices great dish.Also it's no strong smell to it.The Caesar salad is pretty basic here nothing to write about. A racialized family, six of us just got turned away from this restuarant Eddios at 4pm on a Sat. Our 94 year old grandmother who has mobility issues was with us from Nova Scotia. We stopped by for a beverage and dessert after visiting a sunflower farm. The manager abrasive and unaccomodating when we requested seating outside due to loud environment for a senior indoors. There were many empty seats outdoors. Very disappointing that a manager of a high end resto is rude and belligerent to customers during Covid. If you're ever in Milton, put this on your list! I never expected this sort of joint to be in a place like Milton, but damn! They really outdid themselves on this one. The decor is fabulous and unique. The giant booths remind me of giant Moscow mule cups. The sports Bros at the bar were loud but not unexpected, I guess. The food was magnificent. Flavourful. And truly worth it. A meal like this could run you about $100 elsewhere, but it didn't sink a hole in my wallet. The salad was well dressed, fresh and light. The penne Alla vodka blew my mind. I ordered Bitoke, now its not my first time having this WAY over cook ... when I ask for as rare as the can get it with 1/4 inch of garlic on it ... I love garlic and lots of it It was gross and inedible Staff was very friendly , but NO quality check done When the we had to chase the waitress down , she pick up our plates didn't ask how the food was , or if we wanted dessert I did tell her that I could eat , she said to much garlic So .... guessing am not first to say this Wasn't offered any compensation went home hungry then had to ask twice for the bill read more

The cheeseburger is really greasy, but it's SOO good if you want to treat yourself. They have the right amount of cheese! The nachos are also huge and have a lot of toppings The service was good, the cocktails were tasty. The only thing that was kind of random was that my male friend, who was wearing a tank top was not allowed in. He had to go home and change b/c he was wearing a tank top. One of the better non-chain restaurant bars in Milton! It's especially nice when the weather is warmer when you have the patio option and a drink in hand! The inside looks like a casual sports bar with screens around and booths. They have many comfort food options such as sandwiches, salads, pub food like burgers etc. Their food is good and they have several drink options too. Prices are comparable to other pubs and resto bars. It's always busy so parking isn't always easy to find here but that's the one downside. read more

Review is solely from having tapas on Tapas Tuesday! This was a great little halfway point between a friend and I. Great space that isn't overwhelming with decor, really great service, and a patio that I wish was open because the wooden structure made it seem pretty neat! Albeit, the tapas on Tuesday were at excellent prices. We went for the platter between two and enjoyed the sliders the most. Everything else was mediocre and probably would have tasted better warmer... it might have been sitting out too long and had lost some of the heat that would have lent itself to the cheese on the pierogies, the wings sauces, and the shrimp texture. Flavours could have been stronger. We ended it with the brownie sundae from their extremely affordable dessert list of simple pickmeups! An excellent few local drafts on tap, and a cider that I can't remember the name of but loved; a fruity over hoppy balance. Servers knew the tastes well. I'll probably come back to try the mains - they looked great! But Tuesdays are great for a night out or a post-work hang. :) read more

There were 2 other parties that came after got their entrees and finished eating before we got the 2 dishes we ordered. I ordered a pork chop sandwich and my friend, had a pasta. The manager on duty for the Saturday did compensate us by offering us deserts which were amazing. Also, the entrees were really good. We have a lot of pub-style places, chain restaurants, and some decent fine dining, but Eddieo's is the perfect middle. If you're having a couple of drinks, a little wait for food is a-okay with me. Every time I'm in Milton for work, I always end my day here enjoying a drink. Great environment, excellent service and their food is delicious. A wide variety of drinks and alot entertaining sports going on. In a smaller town in comparison to Toronto, this establishment is trendy, modern and a bar that I'll keep coming to. Had a date with my husband on Friday evening. Ordered breaded onion rings, honey garlic chicken wings, steak with veggies. Meals are pretty big. Plus we had 3 drinks of beer, 1 cocktail. Total bill was around $100. Highly recommend to visit this place. read more

The server also dropped a drink on my back although he said sorry that was it. No offer to dry clean my clothes and didn't even offer a free dessert. Also the manager didn't come over to apologize. First thing I would like to point out is my favorite item on the menu that lets you purchase a round for the kitchen if you are happy with your meal. I believe chefs don't get enough love when it comes to the work they put in day to day. Sometimes I can't get cooking for two right at home yet alone a restaurant at capacity. (Call ahead on the weekends, the word is out about this place) It was our first experience that brought us back several times over the next month. (Came up from Florida for work) It only took 5 minutes before meeting, who we thought was the manager on duty, Eddieo himself. He expedited our wait time and got us a round of drinks from the bar. Not only was there obvious teamwork in the front of the house but everyone had smiles on their faces. The food came out in a timely fashion and was cooked to perfection. Now the true sign of a GREAT restaurant is how they handle things when everything doesn't go 100% right. One of our steaks came out over cooked one evening. The server checked on us shortly after getting our meals and it was brought to her attention. After apologizing and offering to replace the steak she immediately communicated the problem to manager/owner. Once again we meet Eddieo himself. He came over to express his concern and wanted to make a second offer at another steak. After declining the offer Eddieo informed us that he would be taking the steak of the bill and brought the table a round of drinks from the bar. Everything else that evening was amazing, he even checked on us one more time to thank us for coming in. Even the nights the owner wasn't present the front and back of the house worked as a team to execute amazing food and experience. We did order the steak again it came out flawless. The atmosphere is great at this restaurant, so is the customer service, but the food is an absolute disappointment, it was the worst food I have ever tried in my life. The appetizers are expensive and small, you get two shrimps with the coconut shrimp appetizer. Don't ever order the chicken fingers, they taste like dog food. The only good dish was the water and it didn't even have ice and their Cesar salad was okay but I don't see how you can mess that up. The salmon was so over cooked that it actually crunched along the edges and the skewer of vegetables was burnt to a crisp. The waitress could tell we weren't happy and offered us dessert on the house as it was our first visit. When the bill came we were still charged for dessert. DISGUSTING. Worst experience I have EVERRRRRR had in a restaurant in my life was here today. I was asked before being seated about wearing a mask and I explained that I have a mask exemption. The hostess (who was lovely) seated me close to the door. She approached me again and asked for proof, as well as informed me that she was just the messenger, to which I explained that I understood and asked her to send her manager over so I could explain to him my exemption, the bylaw and that it is inappropriate and unlawful to ask for proof when someone is expressing a medical condition. The manager approached and informed me I was putting his staff in jeopardy... while leaning over me, 2 feet from my face and blocking my exit from the booth so I could not move away from him. I explained my situation and that I could have been turned away at the door if this restaurant was going to discriminate against medical exemptions instead of seated and provided with a menu! I asked him to move out of my way so I could leave the restaurant as I was not willing to stay and support their business and at this point he is jeopardizing my health! The manager did not move, he stood for several more minutes. keeping me captive in a booth, bending over me asking for my name, and interrogating me! No one else who was seated at their tables were wearing masks. I asked him why he was accosting me? A question which was answered with a question. I informed him that he was discriminating against me as well as upsetting, embarrassing and making me feel very uncomfortable (while I'm seated at a booth not compromising anyone). He finally moved out of the way and followed me to the door in which he pointed to the wheelchair sticker on the door and said "this is a disability" despite me never uttering anything about a disability. I walked to the parking lot in the back to get in my car and the kitchen door was open where I could hear him talking to his kitchen staff about me, "f'ing b.tch telling me I'm discriminating"... I am so incredibly disgusted with this establishment. It's completely abhorrent how they treated me; this manager in particular.
