Having worked with many contractors over the years, the difference with Frank was clear from the start: he's collaborative and operates with old school integrity. When we didn't know what flooring or railing would work best in our space, he didn't just shrug and demand we tell him exactly what we wanted (like a previous contractor did) -- he actually guided us through the options. This made this project feel completely different. The crew was punctual and polite, the price was fair, and communication was seamless over text, calls, in-person check-ins. Frank kept us updated on everything: inspections, deliveries, material orders, even making sure the permit was printed on the right size paper for the city. For permits and drawings, he connected us with Omid, who handled all follow-up with Oakland so we never had to worry about it. Having managed the headache of permits myself in the past, that service alone was worth a lot. When we found more rot than expected on the balcony, Frank was upfront about what needed replacing and the added cost. No surprises, no pressure, just honest information. My goal with this project was to get it done ONCE, RIGHT. I'm glad we chose Frank to make this happen. I watched each step of the work from my office window and am confident in the quality. The balcony is sturdy and beautiful, and now we'll actually use it!

He quoted a price and when I contacted him to actually do the repair I was told by him that he could not even do the bid, that I needed to bring in Geotech people to tell him what needed to be done! The only reason I purchased the home was because John assured me the repairs would only be about 10k. Now I am living in the home and wanted to fix the issues Since John falsely represented his qualifications I had to call in someone else and they quoted the repair at over 40k! I will be filing a complaint with the CSLB and the BBB. I purchased a house because he assured me it wasn't going to be a crazy amount to fix the issues. Now I am stuck in a house that I will never be able to sell for a profit because John is a complete LIAR! He was obviously just trying to help make a sale! Well guys it worked you made the sale, but you don't get to lie to someone about your qualifications and get away with it. This is a professional contractor who my realtor brought in to counter what my own independent contractor had stated and because he seemed knowledgeable and I trusted the realtor I didn't do my own research on him and even if I had I wouldn't have known he was full of it till I actually called him for the repair. How could John quote me a price to fix my foundation of just over 10k and then when I call for a formal bid he tells me he isn't qualified to even give me an estimate! Now I am spending every night awake crying and worried my house is going to slide down the hill!

It was pretty messy because of the move, but she estimated that they would be finished in about 2 hours, and let me know she would text me 30 minutes prior to finishing. They finished even earlier (I believe 1 hour 45 minutes) and the place was spotless! I was really impressed at how thoroughly and quickly they cleaned.
