I went to the KOP, the workers there were very sweet and called over to Pottstown to make sure they had the bag I was looking for. When I got there, I was rushed out by a young female worker and her co worker (male)... they knew I was coming and I drove an hour and hit some traffic but I still had 10 minutes to shop. I asked about the deal (spend 150 get a free tote). When I asked her if that applies to me she said I'm not a member (she put my phone number in wrong). Then said that they don't have the mesh bags (they were sitting behind her. I could tell that since both workers were young, they just wanted to go home. Not wait 5 minutes for me to pick something else out (my total was 144) . I'm very sad and disappointed, I don't live close to the outlets so when I drive that long (and they knew I was coming) I expected just to not be rushed out of the door. Took the time out of my day to come back and return the bag since I didn't even get a second to look at any others. This isn't how the world used to operate.. especially nice stores like this... I'm really upset with how I was treated and I was not mean AT ALL. She just didn't want to wait for me and clearly had somewhere to go (she called her male co worker up front to hint we need to leave ).. I'm not mean spirited, I never even write reviews, but I felt like I needed to share this. The younger the workers, the less care.

I guess most people, like me, don't shop in stores like JC Penny anymore, because the store had just a few people out shopping. Saw a lot of good buys, but tried to stay focused on my return. The return was done seamlessly. There wasn't any return information in the bag when I received the shoes, but the lady at the counter just scanned the bag. All the information was there. My money was returned to my card. Seamless!!! The young lady even gave me a coupon that I could get 25% off any item. So me being me, decided to buy a small summer handbag :( Seamless! It was nice shopping in the store for a change. Would definitely go back if I'm in the neighborhood!!

It seems they have a new sports illustrated line , not very much inventory so I could not decide if it was nice or not nice. It seems that they may not have the brands I like anymore, PGA Tour, IZOD, Nike... looks like they aren't carrying these line's anymore so I don't think I will be a customer. I highly doubt I would ever wear a branded " sports illustrated " product, actually I can say I would never ever wear a branded sports illustrated product. I hope JCP can survive, I think it's doubtful without having major brand apparel and product lines.

She was so generous with her knowledge and expertise, and treated me to a stunning makeover that fit my needs and preferences with incredible accuracy. Admittedly, I felt a little out of place at NM, but Heather was so warm, welcoming, and gracious that I quickly relaxed as she began applying make-up. Her selections felt very intuitive -- almost like she was looking inside my brain. She was so gentle and patient with me. I don't do well with people in my space. Granted, during a makeover it's a foregone conclusion, but even then Heather would ask if it would be okay if she came into my bubble. Seriously, it's like she read my mind. And her energy was so gentle, kind, and peaceful. I could feel that she genuinely wanted me to feel good. I was really touched by how kind and compassionate she is. She is an artist. Heather was also very generous with her wealth of knowledge. She gave me tips on applying specific products, and she never got short with me when I asked questions. She also didn't try to up-sell me. I hate when people try to up-sell me. It cheapens the experience. Instead, Heather let the products speak for themselves. I showed up to Armani to buy a $58 bottle of primer. I walked away with $450 in Armani cosmetics. That's how it's done, ladies and gentleman. Treat people graciously, and let the products do all the work. I showed up at NM looking a little grubby, but I walked away feeling and looking like a million bucks. From the bottom of my heart, Heather, thank you for making me feel and look like a princess! Looking up at the hundreds of white butterflies suspended from the ceiling while on the escalators was a welcoming sight. Women's shoes still took up a good portion of the second floor, and now they have a new (well, to me) mall entrance not too far from this section where there is also a La Colombe coffee area. Last time I was here, instead of walking into the mall from this new entrance, you would be walking to the old parking garage, while passing the smaller children's area on one side, and intimate apparel on the other. A lovely woman named Toni used to work in the latter section. What hit me the most was the third floor; passing the home section going towards the restrooms, there used to be a customer service counter directly to the left. Now this area is completely gone; an open space now stands and the smaller rooms that were in the back could have been personal shopping salons, but all of them were empty when I took a quick look. It was weird seeing it in this state now when it used to be quite busy in the mornings until early evening. Most people would come to pay their bills (if they bothered to at all, ha) but since most of this is now conducted online/via the app, I guess there was no need for this anymore. And yes, I used to work here. As much as I wanted to look for familiar faces, this would have taken up a lot of time and a little part of me didn't want to; for there were some really good memories here and I wanted them to remain that way. Interestingly, a few names mentioned in the reviews here in somewhat recent years do ring a bell, and I admit I did see one face while on the top floor, but we didn't really talk while I was here then, so I didn't see the point of starting now. Otherwise, it appears as though NM is still the go-to for luxury department store shopping in the King of Prussia mall.

Even though we were only interested in sale stuff, she made sure to find stuff on sale that would work for what we wanted. Plus the stuff she picked out for us was an extra 25% off sale price, making my two pairs of black skinny jeans a steal for $30 for BOTH pairs! If she had been my first impression of the store, I would have dropped everything on the floor in the fitting room and left empty handed. The girl at the register was also polite, so I'm hoping the second fitting room girl with an obvious problem with her job gets it together some time soon since I wasn't the only one who felt she was rude (I overheard someone complain in the fitting room)
