Buyer here! We had a great experience buying a used Chevy Bolt EV from Ed Dena's Auto Center in Dinuba. It was worth the long drive there and back from the Bay Area. To be fair, a friend is an auto broker and he negotiated the deal on our behalf, and we agreed to a written, final, out the door price the day before we drove to Dinuba. The car we wanted had been on their lot for more than two months and they had lowered the price repeatedly. We did not expect them to go much lower (and in the end he only saved us about $300 from the current sticker price), but I was glad I had a deal in hand before driving 3 1/2 hours each way. Everything at the dealership went as smoothly as possible! Believe me, I'm not a fan of dealerships and I wouldn't be praising these guys if we had a bad experience. We had a good experience. I can't speak for everyone else, and I don't know if others purchases will be as smooth as ours was, but I would buy another car from this dealership if they had a car I wanted. I think that's about the best praise I can give in this game. Same review I pasted to Google Maps, but written by me, not AI. read more

had a great experience people were friendly, helpful, had great communication , great deal! would definitely come back!

This dealership says the right things during the sale but the execution afterward fell short. I was charged fees that were supposed to be handled, yet I ended up dealing with the problem myself. The lack of accountability and communication has been frustrating. Buyers should carefully review documents and not rely solely on verbal assurances.Rude staff, extremely unprofessional. read more

Huge shoutout to Eddie Ortega at Ed Dena's! He was friendly, patient, and really knows his stuff. No pressure, just genuine help and great customer service. Didn't get a car this time, but we'll be back for sure! read more

Wanted to buy a car. They added a catylic converter etch. The 2 were over. 1000$. They kept giving me the run around after I said I did not want either. I finally just decided to find another dealer. read more

So, I decided to look up their website to find my next truck and found one that was perfect. I then did the Purchase of the truck over the phone/comp, it was so easy! I then went in the next day to pick up my new truck. 30 minutes later I'm on the road heading for Tahoe to go skiing. The process could not have been better. Don't waste your time elsewhere I highly recommend this dealership. read more

Everyone here is great especially Jose Orozco. We only come to Ed Denas for all are cars!!

They could improve with their customer service skills. The service manager is also the worst person to deal with. He shouldn't be in that position. read more

I went to take my vehicle to the service department at 10:40am. Greg Chavez who was my service advisor. In which when we first arrived with the vehicle. He placed his scanner in and said that there were no codes stored. Greg claimed that my father agreed to leaving the vehcile over night to check it in the morning. My father agreed, but oinky agreed because he told him the problem does occur at every start up. Greg claimed my brother did not interpret correct. Which was also false. Then proceeded to tell me over the phone that yes, they did not do anything to the truck until tomorrow. i explained that if they did not see the codes stored in the BCM. He then stated he did. Which he contradicted himself now. From the morning incident. And stated that they cannot fix the truck even if codes are stored. And I asked what do i do if the transmission light comes back on. If it goes away on its own. At this point it sounded like he was upset. And stated to call the service manager and have him fix it. And i found that to be rude because the truck is under warranty. And for the fact that the truck sat all day yesterday and was not worked on. Because of his claim that we stated to look at the truck today. I was furious and picked up the truck yesterday. However, the service was horrible as no communication. And also lying to customers. Saying that we agreed to something that was not true. Greg is an awful service attendant. read more

Why did I drive all the way to Dinuba when my new to me Corvette needed servicing when there's a dealership a half mile from my house? Because the dealership sponsors our Corvette club (CVC)! The car had a service message when I bought it from a dealership in Roseville, but they didn't say anything, so I didn't pay any attention to it. Fast forward a month later, the message was still there, so I figured I better get it checked out. I talked to a guy in the service department, Richard, who was very nice and helpful. He used a handheld device to check the codes and then we set up an appointment for the next day to do a diagnostic check on a couple things. When I arrived the next day, I was greeted by service tech Jason. When he found out out I was staying there until the vehicle was finished, he told me about their free shuttle service and also what was in walking distance. I was kept informed throughout the day and when my car was done for the day, he explained what they had found out about my two issues. Parts needed were ordered and I was on my way. When parts are in, they'll give me a call and I'll set an appointment to get everything finished. I'll continue to make the trek to Ed Dena's based on the quality of service I've received. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER - This review is a long read, but it may save you some heartache and money if you take the time! I have 30 years of purchasing cars and trucks in multiple states. I just had the worst experience I've ever had in car buying. The type of games played while attempting to purchase a truck through Ed Dena GMC in Dinuba, CA, is why the car buying is so hated and dealerships so reviled. After weeks of searching for a 2024 GMC 2500HD AT4 I thought I'd found it at Ed Dena GMC. I negotiated with the sales manager, and we agreed on an "Out The Door" price of $91,000. The truck was still in transit, and knowing the new model year was hard to find, I placed $1,000 down to hold the truck. Furthermore, I secured my loan through USAA and informed them I would also place $20,000 down. I hoped to streamline the process since I was traveling from Utah to California to pick up the truck. I wrongly thought that everything was good to go and above board. The first hint that things were going downhill was when I was informed that they would require a back-up loan in case my loan wasn't approved. I argued that my loan was approved for far more than the truck was worth. They had the proof in their possession... the actual loan approval and processing instructions from USAA!!! After discussing how foolish this was, I was informed by the sales manager that this was to protect them. The choice given to me was to accept their loan and get pre-approved or shop for a truck elsewhere. I had a loan!!! They had the paperwork!!! I reluctantly accepted their terms after they said they would only process the loan if I disappeared with the truck and canceled my loan with USAA. Red Flag!! The truck finally arrived at the dealership two weeks later than expected due to unforeseen transport/carrier issues. Once on their lot and after multiple discussions with their sales team, I purchased plane tickets and made arrangements to travel to California. Hours before departing Utah, I was informed that a cashier's check for the $20,000 would no longer work for the down payment. They wanted the $20,000 in cash!!!! What the hell?!?!?!? ANOTHER RED FLAG!!! I have never heard of a cashier's check not being accepted. Nobody wants to carry around that amount of cash. So, after having a lengthy discussion with the sales team and how this was starting to feel like a scam, I again gave in and pulled $20,000 in cash out of my bank account. Again, hours before I was to depart Utah, I asked if they could please send any paperwork I could complete before arriving to expedite the process. They finally sent their "required" back-up loan via email. Now, their game was revealed. The truck's price had jumped several thousand dollars beyond the documented "Out the Door" price we agreed upon weeks before. Furthermore, the interest rate was 8.6%!!! I have over an 800 credit score, and USAA, taking care of veterans as they always do, gave me 6.4%. I was beside myself. This loan and the new price were being forced upon me only hours before my departure. I had a lengthy discussion with the managers, and they would not budge. They tried to convince me that there was a mistake made on their side but never accepted responsibility or the fact that we had a documented and agreed-upon price. The new price reflected on their back-up loan would be the price, take it or leave it. I demanded my $1,000 deposit back which they didn't fight me over, thankfully. So, I am out three weeks of time, over $1,000 in plane tickets, and without a vehicle. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt for almost three weeks. I accepted the Red Flags and gave in to their demands. My mistake. I'm old enough to know better. The way I see it, Ed Dena GMC in Dinuba, CA, just purchased several thousand dollars and three weeks of advertising from me. I can't stress this enough, save yourself a lot of hassle, time, and disappointment and find a vehicle somewhere other than Ed Dena GMC in Dinuba, CA. read more

I made an appointment to get my oil changed, came on time, waited an hour and then went to find out what was happening with my car. They hadn't even begun the service. When I said that I need to leave and go home, they suddenly had the oil filter off and the oil draining, so I couldn't leave until it was done. They told me it would be ready in ten minutes. Nope. I am VERY dissatisfied. This is no way to treat customers. read more

Stay away from this Car dealer if you value your time. Eddie the sales rep is the most unprofessional person. If you plan on using your own bank to finance your new car DO NOT PURCHASE here!! My husband went to purchase a brand new AT4 here at Ed Dena's auto center and was given a contact name of a salesman named Nelson, we took the car for a test drive and Nelson told us he just started working there Monday and was literally of no help to any questions we had. He then pushed my husband to go back down there and purchase the car when he was working because he was going to be off on Christmas Eve. We went down there on Christmas Eve so Nelson gave us the contact of another guy he apparently shared a cubicle with named VICTOR, my husband called victor and the first time he answered the phone my husband said " is this victor? " and he said " NO " and hung up , so we called back and victor answered and said " who the fuck is this ! " then hung up , so my husband called the front desk for the THIRD TIME and asked to talk to a different sales rep so we finally got ahold of a guy named EDDIE, Eddie seemed to be helpful at first but we quickly realized nobody wanted to get the car sold on Christmas Eve and they hated the fact that my husband used his own bank to finance the car. They tried atleast 3-4 times to let them run his credit AGAIN through their finance people even though we already had a preapproval . The way everyone there talked to us was completely awful. This was the most UNHELPFUL set of car salesman people and finance lady we've ever dealt with. If they didn't have the car we loved we would have gotten a car somewhere else. If I could give this place NO stars I would read more

My husband found a SPECIAL deal online at this dealership. So he called to inquire about it, and it was a go! He drove out from Sanger, to buy it. Although when he gets there, the manager, Javier Lopez tells him that he wont be able to get that deal and that it was some kind of mistake. So now in order to purchase the he would have to pay an extra $1500.00. Very disappointing!!. This is not right! I feel that we should get that SPECIAL price that is being advertised. Especially because he had called to confirm everything the day before. This dealership does not honor their internet prices. Untrustworthy, do not shop here. read more

Went in for the free oil change never had any problems before but this time as soon as leaving with my truck my oil pressure was dropping very low and I checked tire pressure as well on dash tire pressure monitor I knew two tires were a little but they usually check and put to correct pressure.. we'll the two tires are still low so that made me worry about the oil when I got home I checked the oil as I always do after each oil change oil felt gritty and dirty ... so I called them and spoke to some one and asked them why was tire pressure not checked and oil felt dirty gritty .. a bit stand of fish said he will call me back .. he called back and said service tech checked tire pressure on dash and all said 35 psi all was good .. lol pressure was same as when I took in then goes on and says they did change the oil and filter not sure why oil pressure was dropping.. wasn't doing that before I took it in he tells me maybe there's something wrong in the motor going out in the motor i told him didn't have that pressure dropping that low before this oil change he says not sure why ... truck only has 70000 miles change oil alway on time or before time needed to be changed... so caught them in a lie about the tire pressure something so small now gots me wondering if they even changed the oil ... I don't think I will be returning and I will be letting my family and friends know about this problem as there customers there as well . I don't want anyone's car getting screwed up over there shadiness. I believe they just topped my oil off and reset oil monitoring system . I'm going to take my truck for a new oil change tomorrow because I don't trust them since they lied about something so little as tire pressure read more

Service department review only: long story short as possible, A radiator and fan replacement on a 2014 Cadillac ATS. We were charged close to 12 labor hours on this job and some of this is even overlapping hours . This Seemed high to me and not even by a little, so I did some research and I Spoke to two other dealers in more expensive markets (NY/BAY area) and more expensive labor rates- quoted 5 labor hours Also spoke to a relative that works in the industry that can look up labor hours for service 4.5 labor hours. Why here close to 12? and all with the understanding that some systems may vary in hours a bit but never close to 3x the labor hours that anyone else can quote. These are the facts, it's either grossly negligent/fraud or extra slow and inadequate service department. Disappointed. Update to response below: ask and communicate in the dealership. I spoke to two different people at the dealership already last week, shady business. read more

I am very disappointed in "Ed Denas in Visalia and Dinuba". You pay for a truck that costs more than 45K. For selling lifted Chevrolet trucks, with problems and then refusing to replace them. Their dilemma is "you bought it that way". in a few words "We can't help you and scratch as you can". That is not from a company that takes care of its customers and much less does not want them to return for a next purchase read more

We went to get a Civic listed at $15K and they told us that the price on the website was a mistake and it's actually 17K. This was after wasting three hours of our time. They called the owner but Mr. Dena refused to honor the website price. This is false advertising and bait-and-switch. Even if the website issue was an honest mistake, if a business advertises an item at a price, they ought to honor that price and not expect their customers to foot the bill for their carelessness. I bought a full maintenance plan when I bought my truck from the Visalia Lot. Unfortuanetly I have to drive to Dinuba for even an oild change. The first time I brought my truck in for an oil change I also got a tire rotation. They did not tell me it wasn't in my plan they just asked if it needed one, then the tires were vibrating like crazy so I brought it back to have the tires balanced. There was no vibration before the rotation and even tjough the vibration definitely due to the work they did they still charged me for both the rotation and balance. It took 4.5 hrs of waiting for just the oil change and rotation then another 2 hours for the balance a couple days later. I nrought the truck in for my next oil change and was told it'd take 1 to 1.5 hrs. I have now been sitting here for 2 hrs with out anyone coming and giving me an update. For god's sake its just an oil change. Dont sell packages your shop can not fulfill!! Extremely unplease with the value, i wish I had never bought the package. read more
