    I am extremely disappointed with the service we received from All My Sons Moving & Storage during…read moreour recent local move in Birmingham, AL. From the beginning, we were given very clear expectations: one full day for packing, one full day for moving and setup, and a team of five experienced, professional movers. Unfortunately, almost none of these promises were honored. On packing day, five crew members arrived, but one was completely unproductive and left within an hour, stating it was his last day. The remaining crew failed to inform us that we were only allotted five hours to pack a fully furnished five-bedroom home--an unrealistic and unacceptable limitation. As a result, only about 50% of the packing was completed, with the remainder pushed to the next day. The following day was even more chaotic. Due to miscommunication from their office, the crew went back to the old house instead of continuing work at the new one. To make matters worse, one crew member showed up intoxicated, forcing my husband to personally drive him back to the office. This left us short-staffed and further delayed. Throughout the day, a new supervisor repeatedly warned us that they would have to leave by 5 PM due to "hour limitations," despite the incomplete work. We ended up packing much of the kitchen and bedroom items ourselves just to keep things moving. At the new house, the situation deteriorated further. The supervisor and another crew member left without informing us, abandoning the job mid-process. If not for two crew members, Conor and AJ--who, despite being exhausted, worked hard and showed professionalism--we would have been completely stranded. Additionally, our hardwood vintage bedframe was broken during the move. There are several scratches on the floor in the new house, we are missing several of our expensive shoes. We are still in the process of unpacking, not sure what else we might discover. It has now been over a week, and we have yet to hear from the claims department, despite expecting follow-up. Overall, this was a deeply frustrating and stressful experience, marked by poor communication, lack of professionalism, and failure to deliver on basic commitments. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

    I have ordered 3 machines with them and had major problems with all three. They replaced the last…read morelemon with a new machine and it never worked. The tank gets dangerously hot. We had paid electricians and engineers to see if there was a problem with outlets or they could figure out. Customer service doesn't care. Nothing gets resolved and it's a lot of money to be ignored. Save yourself lots of hassle do not buy. They suck. They should have people be able to facetime with you or send someone out to help or replace faulty unit. They just hope you go away but the product is unreliable, pain in ass.

One that almost started a fire in my basement. Luckily there was a serge protector on my electrical outlet. The second was the heating element went bad and the unit is less than a 1 year old. I went ahead and got a new heating element and I was told that a 75 year old could install it it was that easy. So I got the part and I went to the website of the company and they did not have any videos of the mega classic and how to switch out the heating element. So I called the company and they admitted that the video should of been made. I soon got the video and when I went to replace the element the video showed one person switching out the element, they said in the video it has a wing nut in the boiling tank I did not have such thing and it also took 2 people to switch it out and when I talked to someone about this they admitted too that it is not a one man job. So I turned on the machine and it still would not work. So i called the company and instead of sending out a new unit as one would think when one spends over $4,000.00 they wanted me to trouble shoot the machine as if I was an electrician/mechanical engineer. I was floored with what they made me do. I paid how much and this is the customer service I get. So I managed to meet their request and sent pictures. Now I am getting crickets back, no response. I was told too that they are going through some re-organization with the company but this is not an excuse to drop your customers and the service they should be providing. So given how they have treated me and having to give them tips on running their company I did not want to wait until they get all their eggs in a row to finally address my services which I paid for. So I have asked them for a refund and they agreed yet I am still waiting for a box to ship the machine back and getting my refund. Again all I am getting is crickets as to what the status is of my refind request. So hopefully when they get served they will be a tad more responsive.

Said it was too many red flags and I could rent a truck from another company, not his. Then I call corporate and he lies to them saying he told me I could rent from him. I took my business elsewhere even though Budget is the cheapest option. I can handle bad customer service, but don't lie to your Budget Corporate and make me look like the liar. We booked on short notice on a Saturday and had to pick up on a Wednesday for departure. The representative that we spoke to with cruise America was clear that we needed to watch videos provided but if we didn't have the time, could do at time of pickup. Gordon, told us that because we hadn't watched them that he was considering canceling the reservation (he said this less than 2 hours before our pickup). After discussing with him the logistics of pickup, he was unwilling to change our pickup time because he needed to make sure everything was "perfect". That was laughable as our rental RV came with 1/4 tank of gas, a 2/3 full black tank filled with someone else's excrement and a multitude of issues that gave us a headache not only just in dealing with the vehicle but also safety issues. Our side mirrors would not stay adjusted and in a strong wind would kick the mirrors off making seeing out the side impossible. The electrical cabinet was wide open with no cover. Screws and nails sticking out of the floor. Molding falling on the drivers head and duct tape holding things together. Not to mention blazingly hot air coming from the floor. As some of these issues seemed cosmetic, we took off and started our trip. Upon leaving the area, well past closing we realized that the mirrors/air and molding became an issue. We waited to call Gordon until the morning and were met with blaming and condescending attitude. I was told that I should go buy a hammer and fix the nails and that the heat, so hot it would burn was normal because of the catalytic converter (hint: it's not normal). Everything I brought up was met with blame on my end, even though it was meant to be perfect, nothing was. He even had the audacity to tell me that I was not getting any sort of a refund and refused to even continue conversation after I told him we would call corporate together when I returned. "No one has had these issues, so I don't believe that there is an issue". Stay away from this establishment, Gordon and his wife and daughter run the place as an RV rental/bizarre storefront for used/damaged and unwanted goods. He will not assist you in anything you need help with and will blame you for his shoddy customer service and incompetence in communication.
