Talk about bad service and customer service this company takes the spot. First they straight out lied to me about the price but I didn't find out until they finished and charged me more. They cleaners were in and out of my house so fast that they didn't do a detailed cleaning. When I called to find out why they lied to me about the price the manager started calling me all these racist names and said that if I didn't pay that they knew where we lived and that me and my family were going to suffer the consequences. When I first hired this company to clean my house monika told me that if I gave them a 5 star review that she would give me a discount. I didn't say anything In response because it just didn't feel write writing a 5 star review if that's not the quality service I would receive. I went in with the cleaning service and was not happy with the end result. Besides them not knowing how to clean , after they finished cleaning I noticed that a gold necklace my grandmother gave to me came up missing during the cleaning. I called monika about it but she was not able to recover it from her workers which I'm sure they took it. There are definitely things I liked about EcoCleaning Solutions: 1) Monika is quick to respond and she uses email and text, which makes it easier for someone like me who is rarely able to talk on the phone. 2) You can pay the invoice online 3) The cleaners (in general) do a decent job cleaning, AND they mop the floors (not every cleaner does this) 4) They use eco friendly cleaning products Because of the above, I wanted to keep using her cleaning service but the main reason for the two stars was the consistent issue with arriving on time. Who wants to rush home just so they can wait 45 min to an hour for the cleaners to show up? ------- So the way it works is, like most cleaners, they want you to do a "deep clean" and then set up regular cleanings. I got a quote from her for the deep clean and weekly & biweekly rates. We agreed that we would schedule a clean for two Fridays from then, and she would email me beforehand to confirm. I didn't get any email, so I thought maybe we weren't scheduled. Then two Thursdays later I get a voicemail "confirming" cleaning for tomorrow. I was surprised but went ahead with it because I wanted to give this company a chance. INITIAL CLEANING I had specifically asked Monika if the cleaners could take off their shoes because I have a crawling infant and she said due to liability issues, they can't but they wear shoe covers. I ask one of the cleaners for shoe covers and she gives me a weird look and says, Ok and goes to her car but comes back with one pair, and there are two of them there to clean!! As if I only wanted 50% less germs being tracked into my house? But stupidly, I let it slide because they're THEY WERE ALREADY 45 MINUTES LATE and I wanted to get the cleaning under way. I had called Monika and she was very apologetic, saying the cleaners were on their way. One of the ladies then goes and makes a phone call while the other goes in and starts cleaning. She's on her phone a good while before coming back in. I assumed maybe she was talking to Monika about the shoe covers or something??? But then she went back to talking on the phone when she started cleaning, which meant she essentially cleaned my bathroom one handed while holding her cell phone with the other. My other complaint was the other cleaner unplugged my ipad so she could charge her cell phone. Really??? Please don't unplug my charging devices, especially if they're not fully charged and without asking. 15 minutes before my three hours were up, the cell phone talker asked me how everything was. I say it's fine but there's still 15 minutes left, and they didn't get to the fridge (which I had requested). She said there wasn't enough time for the fridge. Ok, fine. Instead, she asked if I wanted the blinds dusted so I said sure. I'm paying $65/hour for this so 15 minutes isn't just chump change. At the end they asked me if everything is good, and while I was annoyed, I did like the cleaning so I tipped them. They told me to ask for them again, which I did, but unfortunately they weren't available. REGULAR CLEANINGS So I did cleanings twice a month. First regular cleaning, the cleaners got there 45 minutes early. Monika texted me before noon to let me know they were on their way, even though we had agreed on 1pm. So when I get there, they were sitting in front of my house, looking as annoyed as someone who's been waiting for almost an hour would look. I apologized and said we had agreed on 1pm and I had texted Monika to let her know I couldn't be home earlier. The cleaners expressed surprise. Cleaning wise these cleaners did a decent job but what I did appreciate was that they didn't unplug my stuff, or chit chat on the phone. I added refrigerator cleaning for an extra price and they did it well. Overall, they weren't as efficient as the first cleaners. I tipped them for cleaning the fridge and in hopes they would be my regular cleaners. I called Monika to ask for them again, but was told only one of them would be able to come back. Second regular cleaning - again, they were also very professional EXCEPT THEY WERE NEARLY AN HOUR LATE. That was the straw that broke the camel's back, next to the fact that there was still mildew in the shower when they were done. I told Monika I had to cancel the cleaning service and she seemed to either not care OR she already knew the reasons since she didn't ask me any questions or reply to my cancellation email. All in all - if you are flexible with your time, this is a good cleaning service. Unfortunately, with two kids and working part time, my schedule is packed. I skip childrens nap times and pick up fast food to get home in time for the cleaners. I expect a professional company to be able to make their appointments and not keep its clients waiting. read more

When I hired EcoClean in the spring of 2017, Monika asked that I post a yelp review and she would agree to a slightly lowered price per visit. Until now, I did not post that review because I was uncomfortable not providing a positive review while they were coming into my home every other week. The agreement we had from day 1 was that it would be two people for two hours every other Friday. Recently, they have been coming for one hour and 15 mins to one hour and a half and Monika said I simply don't pay enough to merit more time and that the reason it took so long to begin with was that one of the original ladies was slow and is no longer with the business. Here are some of my concerns: - early on, an outlet cover was left on the kitchen counter. I asked Monika where it came from and she said the girls didn't recollect even seeing it. No resolution. - one time I heard from Monika that I didn't leave the cash out for the cleaner. It turns out the person didn't even go into my master bedroom and bathroom, so not only did they miss the money but a third of the house wasn't cleaned. - I asked multiple times for the recycling to be taken out and it repeatedly was not. - on another occasion, we had shoe prints all over the home from the cleaner's shoes. - often we are picking up grime from the mopped areas and are re-wiping the counters - another time they had to come back because they just ignored many areas in the house and I had to walk them around pointing things out (to Monika's credit, she sent them back over when I called) - they never mop under the bed - even when I leave notes, my requests seem to be ignored (dusting headboards, recycling reminders, etc.) - I called Monika to share concerns and she told me that she didn't like I had guests in my home and she should be charging me 50% more. HUH? My home size hasn't changed and my home has remained the same level of cleanliness. Did she not expect to clean all of the bedrooms each time they came? I felt like I was calling Monika after every visit over the past several months with concerns about the service level and she always seemed very frustrated to hear from me. I likely should have switched sooner, but Monika suggesting to me that it probably wasn't a fit was the kick I needed to make my move. Don't tell me that what we agreed to didn't need to be met - if you have a concern about the price you agreed to charge for the service level committed, talk to me, don't just change the service level and then try to hold me hostage for 50% more money. read more

The service started out good initially and then things went bad after that. Different cleaning crews all the time. They started skipping over things like not dusting, mopping, or sweeping under my kitchen table, or wiping down counters. Last week I came home I went into my bathroom after the cleaning service and one of them did a #2 in my toilet and forgot to flush...just inconsiderate and sloppy with the cleaning especially if you leave the house and aren't babysitting them... The owner Monica is very nonchalant about everything including customer satisfaction. She has cancelled appts the same day service is to be done on more than 5 occasions due to the girls don't feel like driving to my house which by the way isn't far from Long Beach or they are sick, car trouble, no car , etc etc. I've heard every excuse in the book. The longer you stay with them the worst the service will become. Now I know why my friend cancelled with her service. Note: our house is very orderly, it just needed a good scrubbing. So, she did not have to pick up anything--I even cleared out the shower of shampoo bottles and cleared cabinets off so they could be cleaned. The girl did a decent job, though she spent half the time on our master bathroom in a 2br/2.5 bath home. I think she is probably still learning what to prioritize and how long to spend on things. It was nice that she spoke English / was a college girl just working hard to make money. She broke something but admitted and stayed an hour longer, I'm assuming to make up for the broken item. It was odd to me that she didn't even wipe down ANYTHING in the kitchen, I guess she ran out of time (even with the extra hour). It was okay and nice not to have to clean, but not sure I would put them on my regular rotation. Definitely honest though, and was super nice they brought ALL the supplies, even the vacuum and mop, and took the trash with her. read more

Had an unfortunate experience with Monika (owner) and EcoCleaning Solutions. Our family just finished a remodel and my mom was also unexpectedly in the hospital. I needed to get the house cleaned and was referred to EcoCleaning by a friend. Sadly, I had to keep following up with Monika to set a time and date for the service. I was really under stress and was hoping to like EcoCleaning, so that I could use them regularly to help my 75 year old mom once she got out of the hospital to clean her home bimonthly. When the cleaners came they were nice and I communicated what needed to be worked on. Monika priced by the hour and we stated that 2-3 hours would be good. Pls keep in mind almost the entire house was empty since we were doing a remodel. The two cleaners worked for three hours to only clean 2 bathrooms (that were never used due to the remodel) and 2 rooms!! They used 3 hours to only do that!! Only 1 of the rooms had stuff in it. The cleaning quality wasn't bad, but for the rate that they were cleaning, it was ridiculous. EcoCleaning Solutions didn't even get to the rest of the house. While the cleaners were there my mom needed me back at the hospital, so my husband was home and noticed that the rate of the job was super slow and EcoCleaning would of prob made us pay over $500-$600 to get the house finished. He asked them to stop after 3 hours since that was the max time we requested and to cut our losses. When he did this the cleaning staff was even confused how long they were working for, which was another communication breakdown! They also asked my husband for a Bona to borrow for the floors. We did not have one, but wouldn't you think a cleaning company would have the supplies needed to get the job done?? In addition, the cleaners broke our window blinds AND DID NOT EVEN TELL US! We found them on the window sill. This entire process was incredibly frustrating!! I always try to highlight and reinforce companies by rating the great service I received but this was horrible! When the cleaners were here Monika texted me asking if her employees arrived and when I asked what the of method payment was and other questions she NEVER responded. When I got home from the hospital at 9:30pm to see my house not cleaned, my blinds broken, and Monika not responding to any calls/texts, I was done. The next day, Monika texted that the house had "too" much work and that she will give us $50 to pay for the blinds and that the blinds must of been unstable in the first place...There was no empathy for the customer nor did she offer to come review the work/nor give us someone to remedy the situation. It was so ridiculous dealing with cleaning the rest of the house before my mom returned home from the hospital. POOR customer service & communication. I highly recommend getting your cleaning done with another company that will listen to clients needs, communicate promptly, and not break items in the home. Also what incentive is there for a cleaner to work efficiently when they are paid by the hour?? Shouldn't they assess the house and itemize/negotiate the fee up front? She is extremely hard working and courteous. We've had a couple of other people who have cleaned when Olga wasn't available and they're all extremely hard working and do a professional job. Dishes are in the washer and the trash and recycling are out the door! I alway ask that they sweep the pine needles off our balcony and they do it with a smile! The best thing about the way they clean is that there is little or no smell left behind. If you are sensitive to the harsh cleaning solutions and the pungent smells that are left behind after the job is done, you should really try this company. It's very different than the others! The only reason for the 2 stars are because the ladies who are cleaning are sweet and do a great job. The issue I have was with the owner. I waited for 1/2 hour past my appointment time because the ladies were running late from a previous job. I can be flexible, but if you do not have the professionalism to call and notify me that you will be late, I will become frustrated. Please do not expect me to just sit around and wait for your business. I thought I would give one more chance. I had an appointment today between 1-2pm. I have been at home waiting and received no phone call about our appointment. I called at 3pm. The owner says the cleaners showed up but no one answered. For several months we were quite pleased with the service, mainly with the cleaner named Neela. She really did a good job, and I never found fault in her cleaning. She was energetic and thorough and had a great attitude. However, things began to go wrong. One of the problems was that there was always a rotating crew. Different people began to show up often, and you had to explain many issues about cleaning your house all over to these cleaners. I didn't care for this at all. One day they forgot to bring a mop, and then they dropped the payment check we had given them. My neighbor finally saw it blowing down the alley next to the house. The final straw was one of the new cleaners broke a glassware item that had belonged to my mother. It wasn't a super expensive piece, but it was very difficult to replace, so they didn't bother. At that point I cancelled the service. I do have some nice, antique glassware, and I didn't feel that they could be trusted around it in the future. If you display glassware in your home, I wouldn't recommend this service to you. read more

I did get different people at one point until Jake started to come and I let Monika know that i liked him and now he's my regular. I was very dissatisfied with this service compared to what I've experienced with other cleaning services. I don't have a very large house and would have thought that sweeping our wood floors and vacuuming the one carpeted area would be a standard part of the three hour cleaning I expected. They also skipped two rooms entirely. In the bedroom they did clean, they just threw the blankets on the bed hastily and didn't bother to pick up the decorative pillows from the floor and place then on the bed. I HATE writing negative reviews, and write far more positive ones, but in all fairness I will relate my experience so as to help others. I was looking for a good service to replace my previous one, who had gotten very lax after a couple of years. I picked EcoCleaning Solutions based on the overall great reviews, so was quite shocked at the results. I really liked Monika after our initial interview, she seemed anxious to provide good service and took a lot of time going over the job requirements, room by room. Monika told me that she would be coming out with the team for the first visit to show them everything to be done (my service was for a team of 2 people.) So, I was very surprised when the team arrived without her, they told me that she wouldn't be there until later...and they had not been briefed on anything. I had to go through the whole process of explaining everything again! Monika finally showed up a couple of hours later. She then got personally involved doing many of the tasks herself (which I found very surprising). I was somewhat unsure about the team that came because the woman in charge appeared to be many months pregnant, and the other member of the team was her young teenaged daughter. The daughter didn't seem to know what she was supposed to do, and her mom spent a lot of time "showing her the ropes" which might have accounted for the overall poor job that was the end result (this was supposed to be an initial "deep clean," more expensive, which most certainly was NOT what I got.) At the end of the service I did a walk-through with Monika and the lead cleaner, and pointed out many obvious things that were not done well, or missed entirely. I wanted to give them another opportunity to get it right so I followed up with Monika by email with an evaluation of the job, and a more comprehensive list of things that weren't done after I had a chance to go through the house in detail. Monika said she would go over it with the lead cleaner for next time. Second visit I was not at home. The cleaner was finishing up when I got back, but she didn't have anyone with her...I have a fairly large house and for it to be properly cleaned in a couple of hours it takes two people to do everything...and that is AFTER the house has been brought up to a better level of clean. I could see right away that many of the things on the list had STILL not been taken care of...and these were basic cleaning tasks. Dusting and vacuuming were the biggest issues. I again followed up with Monika with another list and told her that I wanted to work with her and was willing to have another cleaning, but if the team couldn't take care of things they way they needed to then I would have to find another service. She assured me it would be taken care of next time. Third cleaning...Again I was not home. When I got back the cleaners had come and gone, and another check showed that once again at least HALF of the things on the list had not been done. ??? I can't spell it out any better or make it more clear what I expect and need to be done. In many cases after asking for A, B and C to be done, they still did not take care of it. For instance, I asked 3 times to vacuum behind/under the 2 beds...never done. I asked 3 times to clean 3 decorative glass shelves in one bathroom...never done. I am not a "neat freak" but I do expect better attention to detail and thoroughness, and if I have to keep asking them to do the most basic tasks...their idea of dusting is to just shove things around on top of surfaces and sort of dusting around them, not picking things up, or just dusting in front of things and not dusting behind... I don't think Monika's employees have any kind of training on how to properly clean. Regretfully I had to discontinue my cleaning service because I was just not getting the kind of service I was promised. read more
