I had a great experience working with Mark and Eminent Construction on my paving project…read more I first reached out to Mark in November 2020 for a quote to pave my front and backyard. Due to personal reasons, I had to put the project on hold for a while and didn't end up signing the contract until April 2022. For due diligence, I got quotes from several other paving contractors at the time. Material prices had skyrocketed across the board, and while his prices aren't the bottom-of-the-barrel lowest, among reputable, established companies, his pricing was very competitive. A couple of other options told me straight up to go with Eminent because they couldn't match his quote. Mark was able to honor his original 2020 pricing because he keeps a large inventory of pavers stored in his own warehouse. At first, I was a little worried that a lower price might mean cutting corners, but that wasn't the case at all--his work product is excellent, and so are his people. Once work began in April 2022, his team showed up right on time. Mark's guys are nice and awesome to work with, getting the job done quickly with great quality. My sister is extremely skeptical when it comes to contractors and service companies--she is not easy to please at all--but even she mentioned how impressed she was with the quality of their work. Midway through, I had several major changes, including asking him to redo the stairs, pour concrete out in my garage, add railings to the new stairs, and add custom railings to my existing front steps. Even though concrete isn't his main focus (he specializes mostly in pavers), he took it on and got his guys out here fast to redo the garage floor. On top of that, his metalworking contractors who handled the railings are second to none--the custom metalwork turned out incredible. His follow-up support has been just as solid. Recently, I noticed an issue with those stairs built back in April 2022 and brought it to Mark's attention. He didn't ask a million questions or give me any pushback--he just asked for a couple of pictures and had his crew out to fix it right away without any hassle. Finding a straight-shooting, trustworthy contractor is rare. I trust Mark completely and would recommend Eminent Construction to anyone.

We got quotes from 3-4 different companies, but we felt the most comfortable with My Outdoor Builder, Adir. From the start, Adir took the time to present several ideas and possibilities for our small project. His creativity helped us see a much bigger vision for our backyard than we had originally imagined. While expanding the project naturally came with a larger budget, Adir worked with us to keep everything within a reasonable price. The team completed the project in just three days, and the final result exceeded our expectations. The quality of the workmanship is absolutely breathtaking, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We had such a great experience that we're already planning to work with Adir again on our next backyard project. They transformed the outside of our home, and it now looks and feels like a magazine spread! Just today, I received compliments from two separate strangers on the front yard. We constantly get compliments on the appearance of our home. Samantha was the landscape architect who created the design, and it was amazing to see her lay out the vision. She saved us space in ways I definitely couldn't have conceived of on my own. She said the remodel would be like doubling our living space, and she was right! Scott oversaw the construction from start to finish. He was very attentive and obviously cared about and was fully invested in the success of the project. He had an expertise with plants and gave great guidance to give me the colors I wanted in plants that would work for our space and the SoCal heat. I am constantly smiling at the plants Scott suggested. They are thriving, and I wouldn't change a thing. The crew was respectful, clean and did a beautiful job. It was a long project, but Pacific Outdoor kept their initial timeline. Our main reason for going with Pacific Outdoor was that they were a one-stop shop. They could do everything. They truly delivered, and it is better than we ever imagined! It was so easy to look at their choices and select what we wanted. They had a wide variety of design choices. We replaced most of the grass in the back with their pavers and used the same pavers for our driveway. They look fantastic. From our initial appointment, to the final touches on my…read morehardsscaping, my experience with Titan Pavers has been nothing short of exceptional. 1) The proposal phase - Max was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and came at our appointed time to evaluate the scope of the work. I was looking to install pavers over ~1500 sq feet in my back and side yard, with planting areas and an artificial turf corner for my dogs to do their business. Max immediately took note of the drainage issues that I had on my property and came up with a very technically sound plan of installing a sump pump and draining the water onto the street. I was fearful of the cost as it sounded like a lot of labor involved (and it was!), but I was pleasantly surprised that his quote was in-line with the other quotes I received that did not have a drainage plan. After a couple of very professional and kind email exchanges back and forth, we were able to negotiate a final price that I was happy with without compromising the look I was going for. 2) Work phase - Max estimated that the work would take 2 weeks, and they completed it in 1.5 weeks. What a crew he had! They were amazingly efficient and professional. They had to manually haul away 4 full containers of dirt to get my property at the right drainage levels. Max came every day to check on progress, and his onsite foreman was there the entire time to make sure everything went smoothly and it did! I was so impressed with the amount of coordination the team had. The last thing to be done was to install the tiles that I bought for the stair risers. They ended up being a bit too large and each one had to be cut down to size. It was very labor intensive, but Max was okay with it because his motto during the entire time was "I want you to be completely happy with the result". And I totally was. My yard is gorgeous with the "Spanish courtyard" feel that I was going for! 3) The aftermath - We had a full day of rain this past week in our area and it was a great way to see how the drainage worked. We used to have puddles form all over our property after a rainy day (mosquito heaven!), but now my entire yard properly drains out to the street. No more puddles. No more overflow water rushing into my back neighbor's yard. It was perfect. I am looking forward to working with Titan Pavers again once it's time for me to repave my driveway. I recommend them 100%!

In July 2026, we received an estimate and agreed on the price for our driveway paving project. In August, Max agreed to obtain the necessary permit from the City of San Marino. After checking with the City, we discovered that an arborist report was required. By mid-September, I had obtained the approved arborist report, and the City confirmed that Titan Paving could proceed with pulling the permit. At the end of September, Max informed me that they were working on corrections requested by the City, and we mutually agreed to begin the project on October 21. However, since October 5, Max has completely stopped responding to my numerous text messages and phone calls. Despite our agreed-upon start date, I have received absolutely no updates or explanation. I fully understand that contractors may encounter scheduling conflicts, unexpected issues, or even decide not to take on a project. That is perfectly acceptable. What is unacceptable is completely ignoring a customer after months of planning and an agreed-upon start date. I have been patient and cooperative throughout this process, including taking the initiative to obtain the required arborist report. The least I expected was the courtesy of a simple response. This experience has been extremely frustrating and a complete waste of my time. Reliability, accountability, and basic communication are essential qualities in any professional business, and unfortunately, Titan Paving has failed to demonstrate them

Project manager Josef was excellent in bringing in his partners (designers, foreman, etc.) to ensure from the design to finish we were collaborating and satisfied with the end result. For the garage, we had it drywalled (no insulation), installation of a attic ladder (bought from Home Depot) to make use of a pre-built storage area, updated garage door and exterior lighting. Front yard included adding extra pavement to be able to park two cars on the driveway (we have the pre WW II one car driveway) but looks like a part of the front yard design, installation of artificial grass (YAY), redo of the front porch to include redoing the porch ceiling with a bare wood look, and installation of a pathway to the front steps. We had 3 home improvement projects in the last couple of years (including this project) and WTG Builders was the best in terms of responsiveness, communication, and setting expectations. Perhaps I'm more wiser too about projects but I appreciated Project Manager Josef's communication and updates and the various trade teams were fantastic. I also took into consideration their work in the local Long Beach/Lakewood area which I think is important. I would use them again and recommend them for similar projects!

Luis and his crew removed our old pool in a neighborhood where heavy equipment wasn't an option, so most of the work had to be done by hand. Their skill, professionalism, and attention to detail were impressive. Once demolition was complete, a talented team of craftsmen brought our vision to life.
