PLEASE don't. If you have already purchased it, you can get a full refund from LivingSocial or Groupon. Do it now. You want to run far, far, far away from this company. We have had experience with several different cleaning companies, contractors, etc. professionals in our home and our experience with World of Windows has been by FAR the worst. The three companies are all the same guy. I know this because even though I was redeeming a World of Windows voucher, Lamar left an invoice with the other two companies' names on it. And a quick Google shows that these two companies have all kinds of bad reviews. So Lamar and his team clearly move on to a new company, new cell phone number, and new cookie cutter website to shed their bad reviews. After purchasing the voucher it took forever to schedule an appointment. Finally we were able to schedule one several weeks away. The day came and they never showed up. After calling over and over, they answered and told us we'd been moved to the afternoon. They ended up coming at 6pm and immediately told us they wouldn't be able to do the job that day, they'd have to come back tomorrow. They also gave us an estimate of over $400 on top of our voucher for 35 windows. We decided to go for it and they came back the next morning. Immediately Lamar called us and told us it would be DOUBLE because we had storm windows. We had no idea what storm windows even were (we bought and moved into this house 6 months ago). We couldn't afford doubling the price so Lamar agreed to remove the storm windows and leave them in our basement. He also told us our gutters were full and they could empty them for an additional $139. We agreed to this as well. As for payment, Lamar insisted we pay the full balance up front, which we refused to do. When they completed the job he called and insisted they couldn't leave without payment. We said there was no way we'd pay the full balance before seeing the work done. He said ok, you can pay 75%. Finally he and Dolores in the office agreed to let us pay 50% and we'd pay the rest after we got home to review the work. We gave them our Amex number over the phone. I'll mention this first since it's CREDIT CARD FRAUD which Amex immediately began investigating as soon as it went from pending to posted: They charged us half when we called in the first 50%, and twenty minutes later they charged the rest of the balance. We did not authorize this charge. This is straight up fraud and theft. When we got home our house was an absolute disaster area. We had to get professional cleaners in to clean up the mess Lamar and his team left behind. They removed some (not all) of the screens from the downstairs windows and left them in our driveway. They claimed they needed to dry overnight, and that reinstalling them would cost us extra. Some of them looked clean and some were untouched. They removed some (not all) of our storm windows and left them leaning against our kitchen counters. They moved our furniture and broke our $3,000 leather sectional in two places. All the furniture was left askew. They left dirty rags in almost every room in the house, and a pair of shoe booties that were clearly not used since leaves, dirt, mud, and berries from our front bushes (??) were tracked all over the entire house. Some (not all) of the screens from the upstairs windows were removed and left in the rooms. NONE of them were cleaned. In one bedroom they uninstalled all the curtains and threw them onto the bed. In the next bedroom they did not touch the curtains, left them hanging. The inconsistency boggles the mind. About 50% of the windowsills in our house were left dirtier than they were before. Some were wiped, but dirt was still caked in corners. Others were left untouched. Many sills now had dirt scattered all over from their uninstalling the screens. One thing they pointed out during our estimate was that some of our large windows had paint on them that they would need to scrape off, and that's one reason why our estimate was so high. They did not touch the paint. We can't verify how well they emptied the gutters since we don't have a ladder high enough, but they removed all of the gutter drains and left them on the ground. Undoubtedly the downspouts are now clogged. If you've made it this far, here's a nice little reward for you. They helped themselves to a bag of cookies on the counter, left it open, dropped cookies on the floor and stepped on them, making a huge mess of crumbs. I'll post an update as our pursuits to get our money back continue. And I will upload pictures next.

I was only offered 2 dates - both of them during the work week - which meant I had to stay home and miss work for at least half the day. The technician was supposed to call the day before to tell me when they would be there. No one called so I called the company and was then told they wouldn't be able to do my windows the next day. When I asked why, I was told they were overbooked and the person who made the appointment didn't work out and was no longer there. I was offered another appointment and, when I said I couldn't take another day off for this, I was given a Saturday appointment (which I was previously told was not an option). We scheduled the Saturday appointment. I stayed home all day; no one ever showed up. Fortunately, when I called Living Social, I was given a refund, in part because when the Living Social staff member called the company, she got a message that said they were overbooked and could not honor any more vouchers until Spring and would have to cancel some appointments already scheduled. Based on my experience, I would say this is a really bad company!

The estimate was on my porch when I got home and was very reasonable; especially compared to the prices I've previously paid to companies who did horrible, sloppy work and didn't even clean out the gutters thoroughly to boot. When I returned from work that day my driveway was immaculate......the entire length swept perfectly clean (it wasn't that clean when I left for work that morning!!) The perimeter of the house was spotless and of course all the gutters and downspouts were clear of a lot of debris. Honestly, in the 14 years I've owned my home no one, not a single contractor, has worked as quickly, competently and cleaned up as thoroughly as this man. I would say he left the place as clean as when he arrived, but he didn't....he left it in better shape. We never even discussed how we would arrange payment, he just left a bill on the porch which I happily paid immediately.
