Asked him for his card…read moreand if he had time to walk up the block, look at my gutters and leave an estimate for cleaning them. The estimate was on my porch when I got home and was very reasonable; especially compared to the prices I've previously paid to companies who did horrible, sloppy work and didn't even clean out the gutters thoroughly to boot. He even stopped by one morning to follow up a few days later and we made an appointment for him to do the work. When I returned from work that day my driveway was immaculate......the entire length swept perfectly clean (it wasn't that clean when I left for work that morning!!) The perimeter of the house was spotless and of course all the gutters and downspouts were clear of a lot of debris. Honestly, in the 14 years I've owned my home no one, not a single contractor, has worked as quickly, competently and cleaned up as thoroughly as this man. I would say he left the place as clean as when he arrived, but he didn't....he left it in better shape. We never even discussed how we would arrange payment, he just left a bill on the porch which I happily paid immediately.
