They have let me customize dishes to my individual needs (without a grunt or a frown no matter what I say :) . . .) and their outside dining area is neighbored with Walden's Coffee House. The ranch has to much dill in it and did nothing to enhance the pizza. Not sure why people go off the cuff when creating a ranch recipe. Think Hidden Valley and go from there. First time I ate here it was 5 star pizza. I've been back a number of times since then and have found the food is inconsistent. Sometimes the pizza has too much cheese (I know, some might not complain about this) and one time the crust tasted like a water cracker. Then there's the 2 times I ordered the Greek salad. The first time it was pretty good. The second time however, the cheese tasted bad and the dressing was definitely off. If you like thin crust pizza, this is the place to go! We got the Ironman thinking we'd have plenty of left overs but it was too good- we almost ate the whole thing. The cheese is awesome and the crust is crispy without feeling overdone. Even after having four slices, I didn't feel weighed down. I'd been by numerous times and finally decided to stop in. First, the outdoor area (except for a few wobbly tables) is very nice. The staff were all super friendly. They forgot an item (not a huge deal) and the owner/manager gave us a free dessert. The pizzas are overall decent, but flavors a bit weak (bland cheese, tart sauces) and (as others have noted) some corners cut in the quality of ingredients (e.g. less-than-ripe tomatoes in the peak local tomato season). Greek salad sort of bland and sterile too. The counter-ordering arrangement is nice and casual, but gets a bit chaotic the more people are waiting. So overall okay. read more

We visit quite often and enjoy all the salads, wings, and the eclipse combo pizza. I often order a special eclipse combo calzone. The crispy thin pizza crust (a blend of whole wheat) and zesty sauce are the best in Reno. My kids beg us to take them there or bring it home. We love to eat in the upstairs loft or outside. Absolutely delicious little local joint. The buffalo wings were outstanding (not too spicy, but not too mild either!) and the BBQ chicken pizza was absolutely perfect, maybe a little more chicken & a little less onion, but that's just a personal preference! The staff were all super friendly, and even though they had their patio pretty full a half hour after closing, not one single member of the team seemed irritated and I didn't feel shooed out at all. This place is awesome. The pizza is delicious and I love their specialty pies. It's the only pizza place I know of where everything on their menu is really good, even their salads are amazing! Tucked behind Walden's Coffeehouse but a great find. Had made numerous trips to Whispering Vines but never saw this place. Went in last night and tried the Apple Goat Cheese salad (it is huge). It was good even though a bit heavy on the candied walnuts. Since we couldn't make a decision on one pizza to share we tried two 10" personal pizzas - I did the combo and my lady did a pesto veggie one. We both raved about the crust and fresh toppings. Based on what pizza goes for nowadays we didn't think the pricing was bad with shared salad, two pizzas, beers and tip about $40 for the two of us. (We even had some leftover to take home for lunch). The owner even thanked us for coming in. Nice place close to home. We'll be back for more i'm sure. read more

Yup, I dig this place. The pizza is very good, a crust style thats between Neapolitan and American, creative topping combinations, and a solid sauce. The wine list is small, but value focused and enough for anyone...unless your a picky snob. Beers looked good too. The salads were outstanding and the pesto pizza was a hit w my wife. Cozy, quaint, and comfortable patio. We've been there twice and will be back more often when it's warm enough to eat outside. read more

This is my absolute FAVORITE pizza joint in town. I always come here for lunch to get pizza by the slice with a salad (I think it's about $8). They have this amazing salad with pine nuts and a house balsamic dressing that's to die for, and the tomato sauce they use on the pizza is perfection. I LOVE that they support other local businesses, and have a wall and table with business cards and fliers of happenings around town that always has useful and interesting information. There's a spacious outdoor patio where you can eat, and it's in such a beautiful part of town near other really great businesses and restaurants. Best pizza I've had in Reno in a long time, if not ever. Thin crunchy crust, with delicious fresh ingredients, great serivce and good beer (e.g., icky on tap, negro modelo). We had the BBQ which was delicious- and, according to those I was with, "had enough bbq on it"- and a make your own w/ artichoke hearts, mushrooms, mozzarella and feta. The outdoor patio is also quite nice for warm Reno summer nights. All I can say is this place is my new favorite reward after a good workout. Highly recommended! read more

My friend took me here for a belated birthday celebration, and let me tell you, it was amazing. In total it was three of us, we all got a different pizza and each one was cooked to perfection. The employees were extremely kind, and although we were difficult during the ordering process due to the splitting of checks, they maintained their positivity and were simply amazing. Lucky to have a really good pizza place in the hood. The ingredients are top flight and the crust is thin and definitely not doughy. Salads are very good and fresh. The balsamic salad dressing has a good punch. My one criticism is that the salads are on the expensive side. Also, several good beers on tap. The carrot cake looked enticing, but I haven't tried it as yet. The restaurant has limited seating and is quite cozy. There is patio seating and some extra tables upstairs. Kudos for using a recyclable container for the take-out salads. Sadly the restaurant closes fairly early, so if you want a late night pizza, you are out of luck. read more

Order a barbque chicken pizza, paid 20 dollars for a large. Took about 25 mins to get it. They made the wrong pizza and had to cook a second one, that's why it took so long. They did give us both pizzas that was pretty cool. Pizza was delicious. read more
