My new car did not have a sun visor tint on the front windshield. So I always had to have the visor down and duck under it to see the signals and street signs. Dont go to Eclipse Glass tinting They chipped my (weathertech) passenger side window deflector, my drivers side is missing. They told me they won't do anything about it because they don't have insurance for that kind of stuff. They say they put both deflector in bed of truck, not the empty back seat of the truck (there thin light pieces of plastic) and didn't say a word to me about it, so one flew out on way home. Only reason I noticed is half way home my window started whistling do to a gap in seal. read more

You get what you pay for. I cheaped out and got creased tints. Ralph said "it's cold, you can come back when it's warmer and we can fix it". No, that's not how things work. I shouldn't have to go back. It should have been done correctly the first time. This is after waiting three and a half hours for them to do my vehicle after they said it would take about two. I popped in at the 3 hour mark and asked how much longer. Karen rolled her eyes at me and said "one more window" with the biggest attitude. Also, the waiting area looks like something out of a movie, FILTHY. Do yourself a favor and go to Rainbow. Had I known the history of the people I was patronizing and the awful service I would get, I would have paid the extra money somewhere else. read more

Eclipse has treated me right over the years. I've searched online and there are vary opinions about the place but I was referred by a good car friend of mine. My experience of taking my 2 new cars there, the service was just great overall. While driving around the city, I've seen other cars/trucks and you can just see the not so great tint job they had on their vehicles. I've dealt with Robert both times, and couldn't recommend a better tint guy. He is very accommodating and worked around my schedule. A quick, in and out. Hands down best place to go to tint your windows. I called in on Friday after their working hours and Ralph(the owner?) answered, that's a star already that theyre willing to answer calls after working hours. Ralph was abled to fit me into the schedule the very next day. He explained to me all the details about tinting windows and even offered me tips about insurance and other road issues. Extremely affordable too, (25$ per window for a coupe). Ralph and his team were more than welcoming and careful with my car. After 45 minutes, my car was finished and perfected with no bubbles. This is the worst choice for glass tinting. Place is extremely dirty, not heated or air-conditioned. They don't warranty their work- despite having a lifetime warranty. Ended up tearing off the tint a week later because there was so much dirt under the film. Installed was also smoking in my car. Never again read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered 20% tint and I went back 2-3 times to get my driver window re done due to bubbles and ripples and tears in my tint. I was fed up went to another shop to find out they put 15% on my windows. These guys are shady and when I called to tel them about the issue they did nothing but Call me names blame me for the issues and say they don't care and don't need my business. Lady at the front desk is terrible and rude and they wouldn't offer me a refund for my tints even though it was 5 times for me going back. If you want tints done right go to Rustkote on Walden. Eclipse is a terrible business who care about nothing but themselves. Rainbow tint is just as bad as that is the nephew of one of the workers at this place. Absolutely disgusted with this shop. Do not go here you get what you pay for. Pay the extra money and have the job done right. Their film is also terrible film they claim it's imported from Florida but it's terrible. I called on a Tuesday afternoon and was able to get an appointment for Thursday afternoon with no issue. I arrived about 15 minutes before my appointment and they took me in right away. I had all of the windows tinted in my new car. I was in and out within 40 minutes!! Everyone was super friendly and I couldn't be happier with the tinting job! I had the WORST experience with eclipse tinting. I had my two front windows tinted to match the back of my SUV. They melted the rubber around the window with the heat gun. My vehicle is brand new and my dealer looked at it and contacted the owner. They refuse to own up to the damage and take care of it. They said due to the waiver signed, damage can happen and they're not responsible. The owner told me I was over reacting and it's minor damage that's fine. My tint is also all bubbled and looks terrible. I would NEVER recommend this place for tinting as they damage your vehicle, tint job is terrible and terrible customer service!!! read more

I took my car to Eclipse for tinted windows. The rear window had steel wool stuck between their tint job and my window as well as many large bubbles. They refused to re-do the rear window tint job. The side door tint had dirt and bubbles in it and had to be re-done by them. I would not recommend them for window tint. I then took the car to Custom Auto Radio and they did a perfect job with no excuses. read more

my experience here was so so. the shop looks shady the service was overly friendly which makes you think there has to be something wrong with the place. but the tints were put on within a hour and they were nicely installed. but the price was for 89.99 and that somehow totalled out to be 160. read more

If they tint your windows, then expect to have your windows replaced shortly after. They tinted all my windows on my business (Healing Hearts Counseling Center) last summer. My waiting room gets really hot, so Ralph said the tint would help reflect the sun light keeping it cooler in my waiting room. Well, it didn't help at all. Afterwards, I felt like I wasted my money. I have the say the building did look better with tinted windows. So at least something positive came from this. That was until one of my windows cracked. I had Twin City glass replace the window for almost what the whole tint job cost. They said, the tint is supposed to go on the outside of the window. Eclipse tints from the inside. Twin City said that they have been replacing a lot of windows that were recently tinted from the inside. The theory is that the sun light enters the window, reflects back and causes the glass to get really hot. At that point a bird flying into the window can easily cause the glass to crack. My windows are 1/4" thick, so it shouldn't be that easy to crack. You would think professional tint installers would know this. Whatever you pay them to tint your windows, expect to pay at least double in the long run. To top of my dissatisfaction, now I have one window that is not tinted, so my building looks like crap from the outside. It's going to cost me more money to get it properly tinted. I never imagined that a tint job could end up costing so much. The only way Ralph can make this right is to properly re-tint all my windows at no additional cost. I'll be more than happy to change my review if he resolves this issue. read more
