After chatting with the bartender, discovered that the brewery was a converted former car wash, that's been open for almost 6 years. The beer is outstanding (and I write about drinks for a living), though you will NOT find anything fruited, or sour, or trendy; OTOH, the standards are finely-honed perfection. The service is... eccentric, but loving. The food has had some rough patches, but the current chef is great. The menu has been revamped, with solid regular items, and inventive specials.
