What an experience! The hot dogs are good with unique options, the service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were very fair. Such a classic lunch spot! read more

I'm sure many moons ago, one can readily envision scores of people of all ages stopping into this charming gem along downtown Sunbury, once a booming business district. Today, it's one of the most charming old relics of the past that's still holding on today pressing a simple menu of good local hot dogs and local colas and chips for no higher than $5 if you're on your lunch break. I feel like Anthony Bourdain exploring charming old timey spots like this that haven't changed anymore than they have to. You can order up at the window from your car or bicycle, or pull up a seat on the etched charming counter top. Very friendly service too. read more

Great hot dogs. My wife and I always stop at the "Squeeze-in" when we visit family and friends in the area. They make the BESTSELLING hotdogs in town. I always get two Ruben Dogs, a cup of baked butter beans and a cold chocolate milk. My wife enjoys a sweet chili dog with mustard, a cup of baked butter beans butter beans and a chocolate milk. We highly recommend this food. Be aware that there is always a line, but worth the wait, for some delicious hotdogs. Very popular with the locals. Be prepared to eat in your vehicle or like us, go to the park just down a couple blocks to enjoy at a picnic table or bench. read more

What can you say about the legendary Squeeze In? It's small in size but large in service and the hot dogs are outstanding! Love, love, love this place! read more

Lets start with location, it's a great location, easy street parking Food, I ordered a chili cheese dog and couldn't believe it when the put american cheese on a hot dog, yuck. The chili that I got was hot, absolutely enjoyed that. First time someone said their chili was hot and held their word. The hot dog was a little rubbery so I could have opted for a more well done dog. What turned me all the way off from ever coming here again was the unwelcoming lady with no teeth in her mouth. She had the worst attitude in the world and rolled her eyes the whole time while us and another friendly guest was there. She did not greet us when we came in, we were under the impression that you were supposed to order at the window that's right in front of her face. She never looked at us to say '"one moment" or "come on inside to order" she just stared us awkwardly through the window. I'm not sure that we will ever come back. I don't enjoy when workers make us feel unwelcomed. I really wish they had welcoming staff because it was nice to have something different other than burgers and fast food. Great idea, wrong staff. read more

I saw this place a while back and wanted to try it so I went on a rainy Saturday afternoon and it was packed. The inside was full and there was 15 or so waiting outside. I got a couple different kinds of hot dogs and everything was great, my only complaint was that they only had one lady working and she was so slow. It's a very neat place, definitely try it if you're driving by. read more

The Squeeze-In - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Sunbury, Pennsylvania

A surprisingly delicious secret of Sunbury! I remember was waiting in line for another popular eatery in Sunbury when the owner approached me and we had a very fun conversation. He then told me to stop by his small hotdog place later if I had time, and I agreed. Just like the name, the place was quite small, but very cozy. I am usually not a big hot dog person, but the hot dog is, in fact, amazing and perhaps one of the best hot dogs I have had recently. The sauce is fantastic and the dog is at the right texture. Really recommend this place for all of those who are new in town! read more

Loved this place. It is so small, it only seats 5 people. This really makes it cool. There is a walk up order window, so you can ofer there to go or eat out on the sidewalk. Oder your dogs with half hot and half sweet chili. It's so good like that. I wish this wasn't so far away from where I live. read more

Do not go here. They don't wash their hands between handling money, cellphones, and your food.

This is a staple of the Sunbury community. If you are lucky, Angelina will be your server.

BEST DAMN HOT DOG in the Susquehanna Valley. It's exactly what it says. Squeeze-In! I think the little bar accommodates 4-6 people. Reservations suggested!! Lol No really. They have 2 kinds if chili; sweet and spicy. I like to mix them, add mustard and onion. FANTASTIC!!! Stop by and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Guaranteed!! read more

I grew up going to the Squeeze-in. The hotdogs are incredible. The toppings are delicious. Ask for a hotdog with everything. You will get a hotdog with ketchup, mustard, relish and onions. It's a winning combination. It is definitely small. Be prepared to squeeze-in. That's part of the experience going to this restaurant. You will love every minute of it. If you're coming to Sunbury, you must try a hotdog from The Squeeze-in read more

Appropriate name for a tiny gem! Well worth a stop to grab a hot dog and a Big Ben's soda with a bag of chips! Many toppings to choose from. I would recommend to add the baked bean on top of your dog! read more

I loved this sweet little place. Service was super quick. There were a couple local, regulars in there who warned me the spicy chili was very spicy, so I got a mix of sweet and spicy. Next time, I'll go for all spicy. The sweet chili has a cinnamon taste in it which is interesting. I just personally prefer spicier food and I have a high heat tolerance. read more

Couldn't get enough of the fish tacos, they were sublime. Definently going back and bringing the whole fam

I get daily emails from a site called "Only in Your State" and when I read about the Isle of Que, a town on the Susquehanna River, I was immediately enamored so while everyone else headed to the beach for Memorial Day, hubby, our golden and myself headed to PA. After checking out the town we went to the Squeeze In for lunch. Let me tell ya, there has never been a more appropriately named restaurant, in order to sit at the counter you literally have to squeeze past the stools and any patrons already sitting down. We had our dog with us so hubby grabbed one of the tables outside and I went in to order, 2 regular chili dogs for hubby, 1 spicy and 1 regular for me, a bag of Middleswarth Chips and a Big Ben Blue Birch Beer (I like to try the local favorites whenever possible and those chips and the drink aren't available in MD). The hot dogs were some of the best I have ever had and I had hubby driving to all the local grocery stores buy more chips. While we were enjoying our lunch a young couple with the cutest little boy struck up a conversation with us, telling us about all the awesome local parks and attractions we should check out while in the area and the little boy even gave our dog a hot dog shaped dog biscuit. Turns out they own the place, they spent a good 20 minutes sharing info and just chatting with us, truly an awesome family. Hubby and I came back 1 more time for dinner while in town and this time we got the baked beans too and oh my lord, they were the most amazing side dish ever, they use butter beans in a homemade sauce that is quite frankly, heavenly. Thanks to our visit hubby and I checked out several of the spots suggested and had an absolutely great mini vacation. Looking forward to going back next year and making it a tradition. read more

A landmark. Have a hot dog ! Go inside and have a seat for the full experience.

Iconic place to visit and eat the famous squeeze-in hot dog while in Sunbury. I recommend the sweet chili.

Ice cream at "the dip in" was a special treat. I had the soft serve and my wife have the hard and both were spectacular. Creamiest ice cream I've ever had that wasn't defined as a custard. Service was great, charming setting. We were just passing through but I would stop again next time read more

Best Hot Dogs in the Area ) Sorry Coney Island Shamokin you still got the burgers) Also have Catawissa bottling soda available

I grew up in Sunbury PA and until I moved away in 2007, I took this gem called The Squeeze In for granted. You cannot find a better hot dog anywhere in the US; trust me, I've traveled all over as a military construction contractor. The hot dogs are my first stop when I return for holidays and sometimes multiple meals when I'm there. My go to is a hot dog with ketchup and diced raw onions, Middleswarth BBQ chips and a chocolate milk. It's the most comfortable comfort food ever and turns this 40-something man into a 4 yr old kid again with the smells, sounds, tastes and feels of the early 80's rushing through my body. It deserves the recognition of a show on one of the various foodie tv shows...I'm talking to you Andrew Zimmern! read more

Great hot dogs. Really neat street food. Good price. Wish the woman serving us didn't make us feel like we were bothering her at 7 on a Saturday night and I also wish she washed her hands after smoking a cigarette. Could have got 5 stars read more

It's a very good hot dog joint. 10\10 recommend. There's also the duck in (a bar in the back owned by the same people), and there's the dip in (the ice cream place right next store that they also own). read more

I am not a big hot dog fan. Hot dogs are OK. But let me tell you, if you want a really good hotdog you must stop at the Squeeze In if you're coming through this way. You can ask anyone living here where to get the best hotdog. I guarantee you the answer will be the "Squeeze In" of course. About once a month I just have to have a hot dog from the Squeeze In. Oh, if you like chili on your dog, they have a sweet chili and then they have a hot chili. I like to mix them. Delish!! read more

Great food for a very tiny place!!! Only negative is that when there are no other people there the server(s)always wants to try and hold a conversation. I just came there to eat not to hear about your personal issues and I want to eat my hot dogs before they get cold. Most times I eat in my car. read more

There hot dogs are awesome the staff is very nice people need to tip the help doesn't make a lot of money

Four generations drove from Fl, MA and VA to squeeze in to the Squeeze in. Well worth the drive. It was a walk down memory lane for three of the the four generations. Bob, his charming daughter, the hotdogs and memories shared made our day. Many thanks! Can't wait to come back!!! read more

The Squeeze-In - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Sunbury, Pennsylvania

The Squeeze-In is a unique Sunbury establishment that specializes in a variety of hot dogs. I ordered their special hotdog called "The Squeeze Dog" which comes loaded with a ton of different toppings such as two different kinds of chili, sauerkraut, relish, and others. I took my order to go which they boxed nicely. Now the only problem I had were the buns themselves. They had become so soggy that I resorted to eating only the hotdogs with a provided fork. I also didn't think it was a good idea to set the messy soggy hotdogs on the napkins. I feared I was going to get soggy napkin mixed with my food. Just not the greatest presentation honestly and I would definitely recommend getting a bun that won't go soggy as fast/easily. This may be a 4 Star review if you get a plain dog or something that isn't so messy. Either way, a nice place with good tasting food. A charm within the city of Sunbury. read more

Hidden gem!!! Buns are steamed and warm, hot dogs are perfectly cooked. Do yourself a favor, try 2 chili cheese dogs, one with sweet chili and the other with hot chili. So good! Made a comment to the lady behind the counter that a milkshake would go perfect with the meal and she offered to make one because they own the ice cream shop next store. Absolutely perfect meal and great customer service. read more

The Squeeze In still has it!!! Having moved down to Lancaster County - I haven't been here in over 10 years- work had me travel to Lewisburg today and I was curious to see if Sunbury's finest was still in business. Low and behold- it was!! Ordered 2 dogs with Hot Chili Mustard and onion & a chocolate milk (just like the old days) - best lunch I've had in quite sometime. 10 miles away and my mouth still sings the flavorful combo. Should've ordered another Dog!!! read more
