The food was top tier, service was amazing! The ambiance is very interesting and historical. Everything on the walls has a story!

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. From the moment our party arrived, we felt unwelcome. We were told we couldn't sit at the bar because some members of our group were under 18, which we understood, but when we asked if we could be seated at two separate tables since our party was large, we were told no. Instead, we were placed in the very back of the restaurant, even though there appeared to be other seating options available. What made the experience especially upsetting was the way we were treated throughout our visit. The staff's attitude toward us felt dismissive and noticeably different from how they interacted with other customers. As people of a different skin color, it left us feeling like we were being treated unfairly because of our race. Whether that was the intent or not, that's how the experience came across, and it made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. On top of that, the service itself was poor. It was slow, inattentive, and lacked basic hospitality. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and unfortunately I don't plan on returning. read more

we went for a birthday and the service was bad, when we first entered we were told me and my family had to sit together because not everyone is 18+ but there was another family who weren't sitting all together while we had to sit at the back of the store, were treated unfairly and the waitress was very rude and being racist towards my family and the drinks were very low quality and watered down. read more

This was a neat little coal mining themed brewery. Only one waitress/bartender around 5pm on a Saturday night when we were there so service was on the slow side. Although she was very friendly and working her butt off to take care of the bar and dinning area. She made my daughter a Shirley Temple which was very good. I got the Cajun wings and my daughter got the Mac and cheese, the Mac and cheese was good and very very cheesy. Decent little brewery. Picked up a pint glass for the collection at home. read more

visited this bar on a late night, as I live just three houses down. Upon entering, I noticed a couple being served on the other side of the bar. After waiting for a few moments, the bartender finally noticed me and I greeted her, but unfortunately, she seemed a bit snotty and didn't greet me back. When I ordered a beer, I was disappointed that the bartender did not engage in any conversation with me or offer any recommendations. It took three minutes for her to hand me a menu, but again, there was no explanation of the specials or any other helpful information. Overall, the customer service was subpar and did not meet my expectations. Based on my experience, it appeared that the bar caters to a specific demographic, perhaps those who are regulars or have a closer relationship with the staff. Unfortunately, I did not feel welcomed or included in this environment. While my visit to this bar was not pleasant, I hope this review can serve as a helpful insight for others who may be considering visiting. read more

The friendly bar tenders, food and beer alone make this a 5 star brewery. The bar tenders make you feel at home with friendly conversation. Coming from a few states away, this place is still high at the top of my list for fantastic breweries. Came in for a flight. A nice mix of styles, including a few porters - rarely does a brewery have more than one at a time these days. Service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and I liked the decor. read more

I just can't understand how this restaurant has such a good rating. I got the lobster bites and they were horrible! They were greasy, lukewarm and didn't taste like lobster whatsoever! The garlic butter that they served it with was not even close to being hot. Everything was lukewarm. I also ordered lost mind fries with beer cheese. The fries were not totally cooked, some were cold in the middle but the beer cheese sauce was good. The only thing good I had was my drink. I had a rum runner and it was very, very good. When the waitress brought my check, it was $30.58. They charged me full price for everything even though I had sent it back. Our waitress argued with me and I told her that I was not paying full price for that shit that they served me! She told me that I can't just walk out of there with a free meal. She was very snotty and rude about it. I told her I didn't want a free meal and that I was willing to pay half price. And she said it's already taken care of in a smart ass tone.After about 15 to 20 minutes of trying to negotiate with her, she came back and said that her "Pap" just wanted the money for my drink. I proceeded to tell her that she didn't have to ever worry about me coming back in there. She slammed my change on the table and in a smart-ass tone told me to have a good night. Food was good, nice selection of beers. Beware of your bill and double check your total. Just looked quick and gave her my card. Our bill was $100 for 4 people, ok lil high but I left a $20 cash for tip. My sister and husband's bill was $50, again a lil high and she left a $10 tip. I looked when we got home and waitress had added 18% gratuity to both our bills. She never told us, nothing was on the menu about automatic gratuity and as I said we used card for the check and left cash for tip so she knew what she has done yet never brought it to our attention. We all find it quite dishonest. She was tipped 38% by both parties, C'mon man ! Sad thing is we liked the food and service and had she told us we probably would have said oh just keep it and thank you for your honesty. We work hard for our money and don't like being ripped off. Very disappointed, I had a burger fries and two Beers. The toppings on the burger were skimpy if I'm being kind, and the fries clearly are not fresh cut and at 3 dollars for a headless glass of beer well let's say the price was not a reflection of the meal. If Burger King is a 2 star this meal was no better at twice the price plus it was freezing inside and I had to keep my coat on. Recommending this place remain lost. read more

So excited that Lost Mind is here in Shamokin! The burgers are absolutely amazing- definitely the best in town. Great beer selection, friendly owner who doesn't hesitate to chat with customers and answer any questions. Went in with my Sister to try this place out and I sure hope they step up their game. Arrived at 7:15 and were 13 people in the place and 9 of them were already eating. Finally at 7:35 we were asked if we would like something to drink. Around 7:45 they finally took our order. Over 20 minutes later we rec'd our food, an extremely overcooked hamburger with 3 mushrooms on it - my Sister had ordered it medium. My "lobster" bisque was served in a coffee cup that was only half full, had not one piece of lobster in it and was so salty I couldn't even handle a spoonful without chugging down my water. I complained to the owner about my food and he said "lobster bisque doesn't have lobster in it", I laughed and he upgraded me to the lobster bites at no charge. By the time I rec'd the lobster bites it was after 8:20 and they were extremely salty but I was so hungry I just ate them anyway. I'm not writing this mean or vengeful but to let ownership know how incredibly bad of an experience this was so they can fix these issues. An hour for a happy empty coffee cup of salty soup and a charred hamburger plus the bill was over 25 bucks is unbelievable. Please work on your customer service skills. read more
