I won't becoming back to this establishment. I never felt so unwanted in a business before. It's not a good feeling. We were a party of 3 out on A Sunday night to embrace ourselves into a night of singing. Right away, after getting to our room (#2) I asked the lady (Julie) for help with the control pad. She quickly showed me. As she finishes showing me the buttons, my sister caught her rolling her eyes at me. Right away, it felt awkward. Being in good spirits, we said to ourselves we should stay after contemplating going somewhere else. We ordered 3 beers upfront, and 3 bottle of water. After singing for about an hour, I decided to get us a fruit platter and try out their Apple Seju. I came out the room to order that with Julie. We end up staying for a total of 3 hours. At a rate of $20 per hour, I didn't expect the bill to come to $131. Boy was that fruit platter expensive! Good, but expensive. Purpose of this review is to share with you all that customer service should be the heart of this business. Julie needs to evaluate her attitude and how that projects onto her customers. We left out of there with a feeling of disgust. Hope she enjoyed our singing though! Zero stars!!! If you don't mind driving down 1 more exit, I recommend LIVE karaoke. We should have gone there in the first place. But hey, we were trying to support a business down the street. read more

My siblings and I come here all the time. By now, they've probably already remembered our faces (I remember coming here for events since 8th grade). Our most recent visit was in February 2015. We always order their food. Hot wings, Kimchi stew, Topokki, and their fruit platter is what we usually order if we want food. Great song selections, as well. (Sadly, I have a love for Vocaloid music so most Vocaloid songs obviously aren't going to be in their selection. World is Mine and Just be Friends is in there though.) Very kind staff members. I hope I come by this place for my birthday again this year. Just a tip before you karaoke here! If you have more than 2 people in your group, one hour is /NOT/ enough. I always go to karaoke here and the mic and speakers are one of the best compared to other karaoke places but the service here is HORRIBLE. The owner is extremely rude. Every time I come here the owner gives the same attitude and she is very lazy (never wants to split the check and always tells one person to pay for the whole thing and have everyone else just pay back that one person) read more

First time at this place but second time I've done karaoke. The lady at the desk was so RUDE. No customer service at all. My boyfriend came out to ask for chips because the first time I went at a different place to do karaoke, they provided us chips or peanuts. This lady literally gave him a bag of cheetos and there was 5 of us. So he said to her "this isn't enough for 5 of us" and she had the nerves to tell him "buy two more beers and I'll give you two more chips" ???? Never returning again. Just because we're young doesn't mean we don't deserve to be treated with respect. And I am writing this as I'm waiting for our lyft. Me and my 3 girlfriends all came by last night for a quick karaoke session and our entire experience was FANTASTIC! We were lead into a very clean room and given all of the song books/karaoke machine. There were two older women helping us and both of them were very sweet, making us feel very comfortable. We were very loud also (as a group of 18 year old girls usually are), but they were very kind to us and didn't seem to have a problem. The song selection was huge and very updated. 2 of us also listen to K-Pop and there was even more Korean songs for us to choose from (also very updated). The price really wasn't that bad. There were four of us, $20/hour. We also bought two hours and the owner (?) gave us an extra 20 minutes, which was very sweet. We plan on returning this weekend! Great time! read more

I have been frequenting this place often over the past few years. They USED to be the best place around, but as of yesterday their quality of service and equipment has hit rock bottom. First of all, for 3 bottles of Korean rice liquor it costs $17 a bottle and what made it worse is that the worker laughed in my face while telling me it costs $8 at the grocery store that is just steps from the facility. I tried to ignore that and have fun but in the room (#3) the karaoke machine was broken. We could not change the tempo, skip to verses, or make any minor changes to songs. We asked one of the workers to come in and he tried once left the room and came back with another controller and tried again and failed. He turned to our group and said, "it doesn't work" and left us to deal with it. We received to apology and no extra time for the time we wasted. As we were leaving, we ask if the management or owner has changed, but the workers assured us that it did not. We finally left surprised to find out that the price is $25/hr verses the $20/hr it used to be for years. This may seem petty but all these things add up to be a terrible experience. I would highly recommend going to another place near by in Duluth. There are several places with better service, more songs, and cheaper value (better bang for your buck). Don't start the new year with a bad memory. Avoid this place as I will NEVER go back. read more

I've been trying out a lot of karaoke spots in Gwinnett for a while. To be honest, I can't say that one place is better than the other, because each place has its own specialty. Here are my thoughts about this place: -very updated playlist (and I mean very) -good food -somewhat limited alcohol choices (there isn't a full bar) -friendly staff (if you're into that stuff) -cleanliness of private rooms and restrooms All-in-all, I would recommend this place to someone who loves to sing English songs, especially recent ones. Although I say that the alcohol choices are limited, it's not to say that you should turn down this place. They still have some options that would suffice, just don't expect a full bar like Luxor. But, personally, alcohol isn't a big factor. I am definitely coming back again! read more

Loved it here! Came here with a bunch of friends and the room we went into was in very spacious, we had 15+ people there. We stayed for about 2 or 3 hours and they gave us service, an extra 20 minutes for free. The woman that gave us our mics and assigned our room was nice enough to let us keep our food when we brought it in, no outside foods or drinks allowed guys. They also serve delicious food, but it could go a little pricy. We we finished we didn't pay much maybe about $5 per person that's it. We also plan on going again next week. Great place for parties and hanging out with friends. Tip: You might want to bring a Korean friend or know some because there's quite a bit of Korean there. read more

I came here after prom. We were on a tight schedule, so we had made an appointment. Our appointment would've been us in a room for two hours. When we got there, we had to wait. Okay, whatever. Maybe another group was finishing up. Our wait soon turned into 45 mins-1 hour. Other walk ins and reservations were getting their rooms, but not us. When I asked why, the woman seemed super annoyed and said it would be another ten minutes. Ten minutes turned to twenty. At that point we weren't going to even have a room for a hour: We just had to leave. Super disappointing if I'm being honest. I don't think I will ever go back to that place. read more

My colleagues and I are from out of town and just wanted to go out and have a good time, have some drinks, and sing karaoke in front of strangers. When we walked into Echo, it was completely empty, and it ended up being a place where you rent rooms, rather than just get up and sing. None of my colleagues nor I had ever heard of such a thing before...so strange to us. We had heard about how good the food was, and the man at the front desk said, "Oh, we don't have any food right now. Plus you don't want our food anyway...it's too expensive." So we left and went out to eat. Never could find what we were looking for in karaoke either, which was a bummer. But we know not to return to Echo, that's for sure. read more

TL;DR - Don't go unless you want to be scammed money from. I went today to have a good time with friends after what had been a very long week. We were given a room right away and everything was fine for the rest of the time. We ordered a bottle of soju and 5 ramune drinks, and sang for a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes. Karaoke is $20 per hour, so we owed $30 for that, $15 for our ramune drinks - which are $3 each, and $15 for the bottle of soju - WHICH IS WHAT IT SAYS ON THE MENU. THIS IS WHERE IT GOES DOWNHILL. The lady working told us the total was $80, but after personally doing the math there is just no way we could owe $80, I asked her why the total came out to $80... They had charged us for 2 bottles of soju. When asked why we were charged twice she said that we were at fault because their big bottles of soju cost $30, and if we wanted the $15 portion that they advertise on the menu then we should have asked for a half bottle. MIND YOU THE MENU SAYS NOTHING ABOUT THIS. NOT A WORD ABOUT THIS AT ALL. NOWHERE DOES IT SAY THAT IF YOU WANT THE $15 PRICED SOJU THAT IS ON THE MENU YOU MUST SAY YOU WANT A HALF SIZED SOJU. Needless to say I got my $15 back that I was wrongly charged. She had the audacity to ask me for a tip after but whatever. Basically unless you're being held hostage and forced to go, don't go. read more

This place is pretty no frills, but it gets the biggest points for having romanized subtitles in addition to the Hangul lyrics on all of their Korean selections. If you're an English speaker who loves kpop this would be a great place to come. Decent selection of English songs too - it had Shania and Celine, so what more could you ask for? read more

Great place!! There's a huge selection of songs, and me and my group had a great time! We averaged about $20 - 25 an hour for nine people. The prices of food and drinks were pretty good. To start off, I came here to celebrate my friend's birthday along with some other girlfriends and we totally enjoyed ourselves! Karaoke room was great, kpop song selection was great, and everything was so clean. However, they had terribly rude customer service. I walked in with my friends trying to be the most polite with the lady at the front desk and she was completely disrespectful. Since it was our first time visiting a karaoke bar we had no idea how to work the remote. So I went to that same lady, whose name I believe is Julie, and asked her for help. When I asked her she sighed and rolled her eyes at me. I was very shocked and continued to try and be the nicest I could. Later on, she came back into our room to take our food orders and when she walked in she asked us what we wanted in a very rude manner. There was another lady there who's name I unfortunately did not get, but she brought our drinks to us and was very nice overall. The only issue was with the first lady. Despite the bad customer service, my friends and I enjoyed ourselves and maybe plan on returning. read more
