I'm Korean, I speak fluent Korean, and I took my 11 non-Korean friends here for a birthday party. I do not recommend this place and here's why: 1. Google Reserve The Google snippet shows that you can use Google Reserve to reserve the place. I received a reservation confirmation but had to call to ask if I can adjust the number of people from 10 (the highest number Google could book for) to 13. As soon as I called the representative complained that I had used Google Reserve instead of calling on a busy day (if you don't want folks to use a service available readily online, please just take it off?). 2. Confusing Communication I booked 4 days in advance. When I arrived, the cashier told us the wrong room number. We walked in on another group's surprise birthday. When I went back to tell them the room was already full, they said "Oh, I thought those were your foreigner friends" (yikes). So they hurriedly got a new room for us, and the cashier mumbled "You didn't book ahead of time so..." I used both Google Reserve and called them. They still didn't have my name on file. 3. Misleading Pricing - When I asked for the total price for 2 hours for all 12 of us, they said it was $70. When we got the bill, it was $70 per hour. It's just a miscommunication, but please don't tell customers the wrong price. - They only split the total bill evenly 4 ways max. We had 12 people. We all ordered various drinks. It's fine if we could all receive an itemized bill for the total but when they printed it out after I specifically requested for the itemized receipt, the cashier said "Oh, you can't take this receipt with you. I have to keep it." (huh??? it's a receipt) TL;DR: Don't recommend, if you need to book here always call, don't use Google Reserve. Ask about pricing and the menu when you arrive to not get upcharged. read more

I came here yesterday with my friend. We wanted to check the song list before getting a room so as soon as we walked in we asked to see the song list. The owner immediately rushed us into a room which I thought was fine at first since the song list was there. Then we realized the owner started the 60 minute timer. We wanted to do vocal warmups in my car so we tell the owner we'll be back. She says we can't leave until the timer ends. I repeat to her that we'll be back in like 5 minutes. She rolls her eyes and asks us why we're leaving and I say that we need to get something from the car. I get a phone call and use it as an excuse to leave because the owner was being extremely rude. This place is racist. My friend made a reservation prior to arrival, she got there first, they gave her room 3, she went to the bathroom before going to our room, came out and discovered that the room had been given away and was told that everyone had to be present. Once everyone arrived and we actually got the room, it was cool, we were singing and having fun, but then, some members of our party went to purchase soda. They were in line first but when Koreans came in, they were ignored and served last. They came back into the room and told everyone else this and we were passive aggressively kicked out by way of them turning off the lights and tv in our room but we still had 15 ninutes left. And then had the nerve to charge $149 for that. Shameful perpetuation of racism. They want they're communities closed and it's so closed minded and sad. read more

This Do Re Mi noraebang location, at the Pleasant Hill Road OG Hmart, is one of the classic spots in the area.  You can see it on the 2nd floor to the left of the Hmart.  After trying many different karaoke spots in the Duluth and Doraville area, I finally got to try Do Re Mi on my last visit.  Since this is an older location, you can definitely tell by the mismatched decor, but all equipment is well maintained and the rooms are clean. If you are used to Korean style karaoke remotes, then this remote is fairly standard.  The song listings are a bit outdated, even for the kpop songs.  So, if you are looking for new popular songs, you may need to try elsewhere. The service is on par and non-intrusive.  For 4 people for 2 hours, it will run you about $100 for a room with drinks and snacks.  It is nice that when you order drinks that snacks and fresh fruit are provided. read more

I've been going to this karaoke place for years. I don't really get the food. I just come here to sing my heart out with my friends and drink soju every now and then. It's a nice place and the staff tries to accommodate to your needs. It's inexpensive compared to most karaoke places so I enjoy it. Would really recommend trying. read more

Fun times but pricy bill. My coworkers said to come here because their karaoke selection is more modern and hit. It was. They had a lot of songs. However, not sure how pricing worked but my coworkers kept ordering and soon we found out the tab was $500. Although we had 10+ in the group it didn't seem bad but it seemed quite pricey lol. I made this yelp account simply to talk about how awful this place was to me and my friends. The service was absolutely terrible they were so so rude to us and lied to our faces about the prices. It almost felt like a chore to have to deal with us! We saw other Asians come in and they greeted them well and treated them all nicely, me and my friends are people of color and all have tan or dark skin, we were not greeted or treated the same way they were. They also didn't come to tell us that our time was up unlike other karaoke places where they give you a heads up that there's 5 or 10 minutes left then come get you when your time is up to see if you want to add more. It felt like they were almost trying to charge us for going over-time. If you are not Korean or fluent in Korean don't come here. If I could write a review of 0 stars I definitely would. The ladies had a horrendous attitude with us the entire time and one even rolled her eyes at us when we asked for our total. In other picture reviews I see people were given menus, we were not. We also asked how to connect to Bluetooth and they told us that they don't do Bluetooth even though they have an entire tablet dedicated to connecting to YouTube via Bluetooth? When we went to pay they told us our total was more than what we were expecting and when we asked for the receipt the lady got nervous and suddenly said she was sorry and our total went down. If you're facing H-Mart this Karaoke place will be located on the left corner. It can be confusing to mostly everyone because on the right corner there's a restaurant and cafe also named Do Re Mi. This is the type of karaoke place where you get your own private room for $20 an hour. This place is very pretty, and I believe it has 15+ private rooms. The service is okay. Nothing special about it, but they were nice. The rooms, and bathrooms were clean. We ordered some drinks including Soju. We decided to go with the pineapple Soju ($14 a bottle) since they don't do Soju shots anymore. To eat we ordered a Combination Tempura ($21.99). This plate is kinda like an appetizer sampler. It had fried shrimp, chicken fingers, fish fingers, fried dumplings mozzarella sticks, onion rings, fries, and more. All the food was good, and very crunchy. They also brought us a plate full of fruit, peanuts and cheese balls for free. Very nice from them. Overall we all enjoyed our experience, and had a good time. I might come back sometime. We had a blast. Party of 15 on a Friday night. We had 2hrs. Not sure why but we were charged $100 for the 2hrs and the place was dead. Drinks were super reasonably priced- we didn't eat there because we had plans to eat elsewhere. We had age ranges from 10 years old to 60 years old and everyone had fun. System was easy to use, big selection of everything *we* wanted. The bathrooms are dingy and in need of updating, along with the rooms. We had to ask for the AC to be turned on but they turned it on no problem. No outside god or drinks, you have to leave the room to order food and drinks (no one comes in for service). Not to be confused with the Do Re Mi restaurant and bar in the same shopping center, Do Re Mi Karaoke is located on the 2nd floor of the giant shopping center that also includes the Super H-Mart on Pleasant Hill. If you are facing H-Mart, Do Re Mi is to the left in the back. It is not the Do Re Mi restaurant to the right of H-Mart. This place is pretty big and clean for a karaoke establishment. They must have about 15-20 private rooms. Do Re Mi is a full service karaoke bar with food and drinks. You and your friends are assigned one private room at $20 per room per hour. They have refrigerators with a variety of beverages from which you grab whatever you want, take it back to your room, and the employees note it on your tab. They also have a drink menu. We ordered a bottle of yogurt soju for the room. You are given complimentary popcorn and raw sliced cucumbers with a spicy sauce -- kind of a funny combination. It definitely helps having someone in your party who can speak and read Korean because it makes things easier when talking to the staff and also operating the karaoke machine. The remote controls are huge (see my photo). The rooms are nice and big with a large table in the center, a couch that hugs the wall on three sides, nine television screens, speakers everywhere, a light-up disco ball, and strobe lights. They have a great song library with songs from all over the world. As you can imagine, a good time can be had here and I recommend it if you're looking for a fun and private karaoke outing. read more

Do Re Mi has a great amount of karaoke rooms; wandering through the hallways felt almost like getting lost in a maze of music. The rooms themselves were outdated but relatively organized. Our TV remote had some issues working but the lights and microphones worked well. The song menu book is sorted by song title only so it was difficult flipping through the large book trying to find specific artists. Do Re Mi Karaoke had the worst service that I have ever experienced. I went today with a couple friends and they over charged us. It is usually $20.00 for an hour and it was still $20.00 when I went earlier that week. But today they charged me $30.00 and lied about the price change saying that's they changed the price a month ago. We talked to the manager to make sure the price change was effective this month but she said it started a week ago. In addition to this, our karaoke machine was broken and they did not provide a new room or more time. When we complained about our machine being broken, the worker yelled at us saying that we were lying. I strongly suggest going to another karaoke bar even if the drive is longer. You can sing as loud as you want!! Get the fruit plate because it is the best fruit I've possibly every eaten. Good selection of songs, but the selection isn't great. There are a surprisingly large number of songs from 1998-2008 if that is your scene. It is my scene and my friends and I sing it well. Some people say that they aren't that nice to you if you aren't Korean. I don't know, I think it you just tell them what you want, the service is just fine! Me and a few of my friends went there on a Saturday night (we're teenagers) . I called a few hours before to reserve a room because I know how Busy Saturdays can be , and the process was super simple . The price for the 7 of us to get a room was $30 an hour and we stayed for 3 hours and only ended up paying $13 each . The rooms were super cool and we had a BLAST ! The staff even brought us a complimentary fruit tray midway through our night and towards the end included a few extra minutes to our time . The English songs were not updated, and the Chinese songs were really limited. The owner can't really speak much English, so it was hard trying to communicate and asking about the cost. I would say their song selection is up to date. They had majority of new songs that came out the year before. The rooms were clean and huge. When we got to the room, we noticed they had two large remotes: one in english and another in korean. One incident that happened was that we were singing and heard a glass bottle drop somewhere. We ignored it but the hostess ran straight into our room to look for the bottle, which was def weird. I'm not sure if she thought it was us or cause our room was closest to her so she ran in. They have a sign that they'll charge you $100 fine if you bring outside alcohol into their room. That kind of left a bad taste in our mouths. Pricing I was a bit unsure of. We had a room for 3 people for 2 hrs. We ordered 2 sojus and water bottles and the total came out to $75. I think that's pretty fair. I didn't see a pricing online or in the place for the hours so I can't determine what I really paid for. Some people said they charged $20per hour or $30 per hour. But it's already late, okay...well where is there karaoke in Atlanta? DO RE MI KARAOKE!!!! Most people are not familiar with the wonders that is Korean karaoke! It's an obsession, and you can find about a dozen in Duluth. But I would have to say Do Re Mi is my favorite! It's a bit of a drive north to Duluth, so print out a map to help you find your way. It'll probaly be on your right, in a large Korean shopping center. You'll get the feeling that you someone drove across the world and actually ended up in Korea because nothing is in English. The Karoke bar is in the back on the second floor. There's about a dozen private rooms, so you're bound to get into on of them for pretty cheap if you split it among all your friends. That's the best part, they charge you for the room and the time you have it, not by the number of people or the number of songs you sing. And don't worry about embarassing yourself, you're with your friends! So the rooms are large enough to hold about 30. Padded couches against all the walls, a large coffee table to stand on, tons of tvs sporting random world images insinc with the music, 2 microphones for duets, and a size of your face remote control to plug in your selections. And just incase you don't read Korean, the song book is in English as well hosting about 5 billion songs (old and new), and the words spanning across the monitor are in English. So have fun! and if you are a bit self concious, you can order drinks from the kitchen or flask it...the door is closed. And if you get bored watching your friend continue with their Celine Dion medley, peek into the other rooms to make fun of the American Idol wannabes. read more

After my friend totaled her car the night of her birthday celebration, we decided a night of continued drunken debauchery and singing was in order, so we Yelped this place and drug her along~! (which wasn't difficult, seeing as her car was on the back of a tow truck heading far, far away.) The whole HMart Complex is full of fun, delicious food, and a large parking lot. Do Re Mi is tucked nicely in the corner near Hill Drive and located on the upper level. To date, it's one of the nicest Karaoke Bar's I've been to. The decor was fancy-schmancy. We karaok'd for 2.5 hours, had two tubs of beer, eight jager bombs and probably a few other items that happily drift hazily (drunkenly) out of my memory for only 160$!
