The place is amazing! There's a DJ, big screen Tv and a good size bar. Lots of room to dance. Plus, they have different VIP rooms of different sizes and costs to accommodate everyone. The rooms are different colors which include suede sofas/ chairs, lights, big screen tv. You can order food as well. The food is a little expensive but it's good. It's spicy. If you don't like spicy you can have to sauce on the side. We're having a birthday party this Saturday. It's not the first and it won't be the last. It's a very fun atmosphere. read more

I had a great time celebrating my friend's birthday here a few weeks ago. It's located in a large shopping plaza in Duluth. Plenty of free parking is available. I was the first person to arrive and was told that the time would begin if I entered the room that my friend rented, so I waited on her in the bar area. The karaoke room was very spacious. They have a limited menu and a full bar, but no wine. I ordered wings and spring rolls and they were pretty good. What I liked most about this particular karaoke venue is that they have a connection where you can plug in your phone for additional music selections. The songs they had in their system weren't that great and it wasn't easy to navigate. Servers came in periodically to refresh the water and bring the orders that we placed at the bar. If you order inside the room, everything is charged to card that was used to rent the room. After our time was over, we headed to the after party out front. Visited during their soft opening. The layout is very comfortable and open. The bar is nice, large , and there's couches and tables to chill and talk/hangout with friends. Best part is the huge screen at the side of the room where you can karaoke openly at the bar at certain times I believe. I loved the staff here on that day. Super nice and the DJ was really cool too! Please do not go here. I came with a party of 17 people and booked a VIP lounge. Karaoke pretty much sucks unless you pay an extra $10 a hour for their Youtube connection which is basically a short plug to your phone so you can listen to your own music. We were a group of Indian men celebrating an event and the owner and establishment took full advantage of us. I am not going to say racist, but took full advantage of us because they knew we could pay the tab. When we left they added an extra $500 or $650 to our tab as a MISC fee because they said we smoked Weed in the VIP room. We did have someone light a Cigarette in the room and not weed. They have security at the door. If it was Weed why did they not have security visit us? Also get this, They charged us a 30% set tip on our entire bill. Yes, even the $500 smoking fee they charged us 30% Tip on top of that. So yes now the fee is $650!!! This place is empty and nothing like the pictures that are depicted on the social media sites. The owner or the person who runs it is (Yoshi) is a scam artist that takes advantage of people who are vulnerable and not regulars. This place is likely losing money and taking full advantage of people. . I have attached our receipt that fully proves that this is a 100% truthful review and this place takes full advantage of customers. Please do not go here. Also the staff as other reviews have described are not nice as well. I don't think I saw one member of the staff smile one time, but they were able to get about $800 in service fees from us for doing nothing. This is a reasonably priced place for a good party. I hosted a party of 10 here ($60/hr) and the karaoke lounge concept is fun. I've been to others but this one has the prettiest decoration which is why I chose it. The food is not good so I would suggest only coming for the fun part which is karaoke. The drink menu was named after anime characters which was cute but I didn't order any drinks. There's a service button in the room but I did have to come out a few times to get our servers attention. read more

We literally were looking for last minute places to hang out after we ate Korean BBQ, we searched this spot out which was open until 3am, we only had an hour to check out this place. Had a group of 6 and got drinks at the bar pretty quick. Servers & staff are friendly. Music was VERY LOUD, but the entire atmosphere was great. The service was bad. When we had to call for assistance or to order drinks in our KTV room, the girl would come in with an attitude and barely helped. A few times no one would answer, so our friend went outside and asked for batteries because the mic had died. We pretty much felt ignored. Even when we tried to sign the bill and the pen wasn't working, the girls at the bar ignored us and the only guy there noticed after 5minutes and gave us a new pen. This is by far the worse lounge. This should be no star or negatives. I have never seen a management are so unprofessional and only favors regulars. So I came to Encore for a birthday with vip room and as soon as I walked in one of their customers attacked with a bottle and they called the cops on us and told us to leave instead of telling their crazy customers to leave. We came to have fun and enjoy a party not to mention their were like 20 of us ( many bottles would have been bought ) but they decided to kick us out instead the customer that started this altercations. So to my assumptions the management seem very discriminating and biased. I would not recommend this horrible place to anybody! read more

Any day of the week I decide go out this place has become my new go to. The karaoke rooms are clean, amazing, and the sound quality is the best I've ever experienced. You get a luxury experience for an affordable price. When I don't feel like being in a room, the main area has many lounges that can fit small to large groups. The bartenders are really friendly and quick getting what you ask for. Friday and Saturdays here are days you really can't miss and they always have DJ playing that gets the crowd going. Full discretion, I've been to two karaoke bars ever including this one. Anyway, I came here opening weekend to check it out and, immediately upon entering, you can tell that it's an upscale yet casual lounge. The decor is modern, as cliche as that sounds, and the staff are extremely friendly. I got a Long Island iced tea and it was delicious. I'm honestly not a party/go out person, but Encore has the best servers and bartenders. Everyone is so nice and sweet. It be PACKED/BOOKED on the weekends so make sure to reserve beforehand if you're coming in with a a large group. Not sure if you guys know, but they be having some bomb as DJs. What more can you ask for. heck, you can even headbang in the front. Go all out. Recently they added more delicious food to their menu, that i haven't even gotten to try them all. 6 of us (2 men and 4 women African American) Walked in at 12:30am after a comedy show in the area. Was not checked for ID. Walked to the bar and ordered 2 drinks and they were actually pretty good. we were told to sit down we'd have to order a bottle and the cheapest was 100 bucks which we said we would. we sat down in our first section which was terrible because it was directly in front of the entrance so we asked to switch to one of the many open booths away from the door. That took 20 minutes and we still weren't being serviced. We moved into the new area and it was much more warmer for us and we were ready to order. nobody Came to wait on us ao I went to the bar and asked for 2 hookahs and the bartender disappeared into the back and came back to the front and spoke to a man while pointing at me l. She walked around to me and said there will be no more hookahs being made it was 1:05am. I returned to our section and Our waitress was there finally. She said that hookahs were still being made and disappeared into the back. We waited not being serviced from 12:30am til 1:50am when we decided to leave for lack of service. Everyone around us was being serviced and needless to say they were not of African decent. I'm not saying this place is racist but I am saying it's awfully peculiar we are the only ones not being serviced even When we go and seek the service out. The waitress never returned with the hookah or any information and 45 minutes lapsed. I'd say never go here if you expect service at all... it was a waste of time read more

Came for the first time last night and had such a great time! Service is excellent, and the sound system throughout the lounge is a lot nicer than most karaoke places around here. Bartenders are really nice and fun as well. If you don't feel like renting out a room, karaoke can also be sung in the front at the bar!
