The aioli was sweet, & peppery, the ring were nice & crispy too!! STAMP!! Their Pork Buns ($12.99 with sweet n spicy pork belly, a cucumber n carrot slaw, & lettuce inside flour buns). I'm a fan!! The sauce has a tip of heat, & sweet, the pork was perfectly cooked, with that soft bun...it HIT!! STAMP!! Their Sweet n Spicy Shrimp ($12.99 for 5 battered, & fried sweet n spicy shrimp). If you're looking for a fun night and also great food looking no further than echo box!!! Let me talk about the food first - they do specialize in Korean fried chicken so definitely order some wings. It has the crispiest batter with the juiciest chicken. Another must order as the onion ring tower, which comes with the ketchup and spicy sauce. We finished that very quickly. We also loved the Bulgogi flatbread. I think that is a must order haven't seen anything like that it was so delicious! OK now the karaoke: the rooms are very spacious and super clean they do give disposable covers for the microphones. Again, not all karaoke spots do that. There's a choice of YouTube and regular machine (with more Asian songs) . The lights, the sound, echo everything is customizable. For all group sizes you can find a room. Excellent experience in the VIP Room!!!! Very spacious (they advertise it fits 22, I'd say 18 would be the most comfortable max), excellent service by QR codes directly to the room, good $10 wine pour. The system is a little confusing to use and we had some issues but mostly got everything going fine throughout. They connect to YouTube so they really have basically every song you could want. A friend of a friend coordinated a karaoke night, and it was a BLAST! I had gone once for happy hour and tasted their KFC, which was delicious, but not as good as other spots I've had. It was nowhere near the bottom though! And it was like spring time and they had egg nog shots... so random, yet so welcoming and delicious. I didn't check for that during karaoke night but I can talk about the room. Such a fanfare! The seating area is long, and the tables make it so you have to slide down or ask others to get up. So if it's completely full and you really want to sit, it can get a bit cumbersome -- especially if the songs are nonstop and it's loud so you can't really communicate like you want haha. The audio and visuals were a blast though. We had all the controls and adding to the queue was easy once it was explained. The controls weren't in English so we had to get a mini tutorial. And I like the ability to easily switch between their system and YouTube. It's a newer spot in DuPont, and it's a fun time if you prefer private karaoke rooms. Have been to a couple bdays here now and it's been a great time! The machine is in korean which isn't too hard to get an understanding on once you fiddle with it. This place has such good food! My friends and I did karaoke and I had some food for dinner with my friends. We had the fried chicken wings - spicy and my friends ordered the plain friend chicken wings. We could have used a bigger room for karaoke. Make sure the fan is on. Otherwise, they have a karaoke room that takes a bit to get used too. Once we got the karaoke system, it was great. I suggest this place but make sure to take some time to get used to the system and turn on the fan! The wings are great and can't wait to try more food there . read more

I am rating Echo Box a 3 stars based on a number of pros and cons contributing to my overall experience. This was my first time here on a Saturday night renting a Karaoke room with 6 of my friends. Pros: Staff was nice, greeted us immediately and ushered us to our Karaoke room. They explained how to operate the system and select songs. They also responded quicky to any issues. The restaurant itself was easy to find and clean. The Karaoke rooms were spacious and luxurious with great lighting and sound quality. You were able to customize the microphone, echo and music volumes. There was a "KPop" button which was exciting (You have to go to find out haha). Each song on the main system came with a background video and easy to follow lyrics. Cons: The system was a struggle to learn and if you couldn't find a song, switching over to an ipad for youtube and back was not easy. The main system default was in a different language and limited, even for popular American songs. So I had to call for help a number of times which interrupted our experience. The WiFi wasn't working in our room which made the QR code they provided useless, I had to walk all the way to the front just to order drinks. Drinks were expensive, $10 for Kiren Light + 20% automatic service charge + 10% tax which comes out to be $13 per beer. Usually I pay $5-7 for a basic beer. Also, usually the Karaoke rooms I've been to in the past provide tambourines or something to play with when singing. Once I asked, they gave us 2, but they were really beat up. They were supposed to light up, they didn't. They were cheap plastic and cracked easily. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Echo Box. The staff was really nice and the Karoke rooms were fancy and well maintained. I would be aware for next time that the system might be a challenge, you may have to spend more on or work a bit harder to order drinks and maybe bring your own tambourine (if you have one haha). read more

I loved that you could order from the rooms individually versus having a big group check to settle. I did have to call staff to ask about my drink, as other people's orders were coming when they had ordered after me. Next time, I will try the food. I also like that you can order directly from a QR code in the room and your food/drinks are brought to you instead of you having to leave and order from a bar. While we waited in the main establishment for our time slot for the karaoke room the host approached to let us know that no inside drinks were allowed., which would be fine except for his tone which brings me to once we got escorted back again we were spoken to with this aggressive nature and tone on what not to do when it came to smoking or vaping which we did neither but it was if he was speaking to children and honestly insulting.
