Taking a chance, I called the Chestnut Hill location and talked to Joe, who was filling in at the location. Let me tell you, for someone who is in full panic mode to talk to someone as knowledgeable, calm and willing to help was a God send. Joe took the time to listen to what I needed. He helped me with finding something that would work for the groomsmen and went above and beyond to make getting them shipped to me easy. I also spoke with Tim, who was friendly, knowledgeable and a tremendous help. Today, retailers of any size seem to be so focused on the amount of the sale to increase profit, they forget about what the customer actual needs. Milton's is not like that in my experience. This store is one floor, but still houses a lot of shoes for both men & women. The prices are reasonable and there are often sales for DSW rewards members. (It's free to join the rewards program and I recommend doing son.) There is a clearance section in the back of the store divided by sizes, so sometimes you can find a gem there. The one problem with this location is there is no cell reception or internet service, so your cell phone battery can drain searching for a signal while you browse. They also ran an offer on Facebook to promote their store opening ($5 off) but you could not pull the offer up on your phone in the store due to the cell phone dead zone. However, the sales associate who checked me out took the $5 off with no problems, completely understanding why I couldn't pull up the offer on my phone. So, make sure you print coupons that aren't stored on your rewards card before heading to the store. I'm looking forward to lots of future shopping trips here.

He basically called me a thief to my face after having endured their horrible customer service and inferior retail professionalism. I told him the right thing to do is honor the price on the display. He refused and I kindly told him to go ahead and refund me. This is the WORST retail experience I've ever had...EVER. I have worked in retail as a salesperson and a manager and the way I was treated was inexcusable! Between the complete lack of common custom courtesy, arguably breaking the law with the bait and switch pricing, and the fact that the staff treated me like dirt instead of a paying customer...I wouldn't recommend this location to ANYBODY! I wouldn't go back there to buy a pair of shoelaces.
