Nestled within "downtown" Redmond you'll find Sisters Meat and Steakhouse. Plus you will find a full selection of cheese offerings that you can sample while you wait. In addition the shelves offer an array of seasonings and wines! This place has everything you need for a solid meal on the go or a romantic dinner. We popped in for a quick meal before our flight out of Redmond. Their menu offers an array of sandwiches from vegetarian to full on meat. We had the tri tip sandwich and grilled cheese sandwiches. Plus we had two adult refreshments that included a pint of beer and cider. Included with our sandwiches we had our choice of chips. The meal came to be around 50 dollars. The food was good but not overly large. Typically I can only eat half my meal but ate my whole sandwich. If eating in, they offer an array of tables. The tables make you feel like you are eating at home in the kitchen or dinning room. If you are looking for a quick meal or food to go, this is a good place to stop over. Plenty of parking in the lot outside of restaurant or on the street.

(As in January and February.) The bad news is last year there was a poor truffle harvest and so no Truffleur was available. I know...I know...I'm one of sixteen people in the United States completely indifferent to the game. Back to the important thing, good goat cheese, if you're ordering your own custom box of multiple cheeses, you might also want to add to the order, along with Truffleur (with white tuffles), some others like: Remembrance (with rosemary), Pondhopper (using a local beer in the cheesemaking process), Capricorns (with peppercorns), Fenacho (with fenugreek) or Classico (and better yet the Classico Reserve). And if you order the cheese now so it arrives before February 6, the date of the "big game" my husband tells me, and do watch the Superbowl (the only reason I can think of to do that is for the commercials and the food at the party), while others are eating hot dogs and potato chips, you could be eating Fenacho stuffed dates, or Pondhopper mac n cheese, or grilled Poblanos stuffed with goat cheese raisins and hazelnuts. If you live in central Oregon or in the Valley area, from Eugene through Portland, you can probably find Truffleur in local specialty markets, or even perhaps in bigger markets, like Market of Choice, that normally carry other Tumalo cheese products. (Although looks like Whole Foods may not be carrying Truffleur this year.) But if you're outside the normal range of Tumalo Farms distribution, isn't the ability to "e order" a good thing? The pastrami was thinly sliced and nicely spiced. My wife commented that the more she ate of the sandwich; the more she like the sandwich. I ordered 10 pounds of assorted sausage from them back on June 28th through a marketing website and received a confirmation that they would notify me when they ship, and it was listed as "Express" for the shipping Flash forward to July 25th (just 3 days shy of a month later) while out of town for my daughter's wedding they decided to have the sausage delivered. The "feels like" on the day was discovered was 116, and the day before that, when it was delivered, was even hotter. My cat watcher noticed the package on a Saturday and when she brought it in and opened it the sausages were warm and slimy and placed the whole box outside in my garage. The order was delivered on Friday morning and sat outside all day in this heat, and part of Saturday. My garage stunk as the cat watcher did not want to smell up the house or fridge. We never received any tracking or any communication at all from anyone at We're the Wurst to notify us that there would be a HUGE delay in shipping, or that the item shipped. Had he have notified us that they were going to ship or shipped the package, we could have asked them to hold until we got back, or had a neighbor bring the box in. I emailed them and his reply was "it's not his fault what happens once the package arrives at my house," and his only mistake was not updating us with tracking. That is a HUGE mistake and the only reason this sausage wound up in the garbage. How can you ship out perishable goods a month after the fact and not notify anyone? I am battling this currently with my CC and the market place I ordered it from as he is currently ghosting me and not replying to any emails.

My current favorite is the Very Berry Jalapeno, that has been spicing up my sandwiches for the past month. Just the right amount of kick. I plan to branch out and pick up a few more jars the next time I'm in town.
