What Mr. Goodman and his folks don't tell you is that they password protect the coding on the remote so that only his firm can do any updates or modification. If you never move from the Fairfield area this wouldn't be a problem, but I recently moved to Sarasota, FL and needed to have my remote programming changed to add FIOS and delete Cablevision. Because of Westfair's self-serving and consumer unfriendly policy, I now have to have the remote completely reprogrammed to the tune of a couple hundred dollars. Had I known about his restrictive access rights policy, I would not have purchased the RTI from him to begin with. By contrast, the local authorized RTI dealer in Sarasota believes the coding work belongs to the customer and provides access rights to other RTI dealers in the event a customer needs to have something done by someone else. Westfair should take a lesson from other RTI dealers who treat their customers fairly. In the meantime, if you're considering an RTI remote from Westfair, better ask about this restrictive policy before you're screwed.

They are extremely unprofessional and do yourself a favor and avoid this company that could not care less about the customers.
