This is the worst alarm detection company of all time! My wife and I bought a house that already had their existing system. Since living here we've had multiple smoke detection warnings that were never detected by this company or the fire department was never alerted. All Time sent a technician who had no idea how to fix the system and then sent me a bill for almost $400 for the service call. They came to setup a new WiFi transmitter which was supposed to resolve the issue. Then we got a low temperature warning and All Time could not explain how to turn the alarm off so disabled it for 2 weeks. They were supposed to call us the next day to help resolve the issue but never did. Finally we got a carbon monoxide warning from our consumer detectors and All Time's never went off. I called them and the technician said it was just a low battery. I didn't trust them so called the fire department who came and detected massive amounts of carbon monoxide in my home and evacuated us until they resolved it. If I had listened to All Time and didn't call the fire department my wife and I could have died in our sleep! We are now looking into legal action against this company. There should be a no stars choice for yelp because ALL TIME DETECTION DESERVES NO STARS!!! I just moved to upstate NY last year and wanted to set up my home with a security system. I went with the company already contracted with the home I bought, All Time detection. They made me sign a 5 year contract!! From the second I moved into my home we have had CONSTANT problems with this company. The alarm would go off but no one from the company would either recognize the alarm or if they did they wouldn't know how to turn the alarm off or reset the system. They would blame cellular equipment ( that they installed) or cell tower failures in the area that didn't exist. The final straw was when my carbon monoxide alarms went off in my house went off warning us that there were deadly levels present in our home. We called All Time and we told them about the alarms and they said," those aren't our alarms, those are the store bought Kidde alarms and they probably just need new batteries." Well I called the fire department and I am so glad I did. They came over with all their equipment and registered deadly amounts of carbon monoxide. We were forced to evacuate our home with our dogs. The fire department found our all time detectors NEVER WENT OFF!!! When we told this to the manager of All Time they refuted our claims even thought the 12 firefighters who came to our home promised to stand up in court to refute them. All i wanted in return was a refund of the 6 months of useless service and they still won't give me my money back!!! This is the ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY TO PUT IN CHARGE OF PROTECTING YOU!!! If I could give them no stars, I would. They are a horrible company and very untrustworthy. I am sad to say that this company was the alarm company of the previous home owner, so we just stuck with them....MISTAKE. BEWARE, THEY ARE SHADY! About 7 years ago I needed to get a sensor reattached to our front door (we put in a new door), they came, reattached it in 5 minutes (actually, my husband could have done it). A few weeks' later I got a bill for $128. Really??? 5 minutes? They told me it was a minimum service charge for showing up. Really? So, if they have 5 calls in an hour that last 5-10 minutes each, they get $640 an hour? Crooks. Their customer service is severely lacking as well, especially their billing department, which consists of a nasty woman and man who THREATENED me if I did not pay them their money. They would leave a message on my answering machine saying they tried to reach me and never did (I checked call history and my phone). LIARS. I pay them late every year since then on principal alone. Now the icing on the cake? Someone referred this company to my boss to do some work and after paying $5,000 for work to be done, we decided not to go ahead with the work. You know what? We are a woman owned and run business and the All Time team gave us a quick appointment, showed up early, we're spotlessly clean with installation and made clear how to work the system before they left. I have had this system for almost three years and it's been nothing but trouble. It has gone off randomly and it took the company several weeks to fix it. The installers do not seem skilled at all. I'm addition customer service is non responsive. There was an issue with the app they supplied and did not get back to me as promised. They refused to take responsibility for the issue and blamed the vendor. My employer uses them as well and has had multiple issues. I should have looked at their ratings ahead of time but they were a referral from a friend. read more

Expert service and incredibly honest people I own a commercial building in Rye and the front door is controlled by an automated system. It broke causing the door to remain locked which is obviously a big problem for a commercial building. I called and Jeff was very helpful and got someone out quickly. Justin arrived and was very knowledgeable and fixed part of the system but then needed to have their locksmith Jonny do an additional step. Jonny came over quickly and let me know that the system might need a $600 circuit board. I authorized the repair. When Jonny was finished fixing the system he told me that the old circuit board was actually fine and he was able to fix it by doing some re-wiring. This was an incredibly honest move. He easily could have put in the $600 board and I never would have known. Seriously, I was just stunned. It's so refreshing to see such an honest person. It made me want to write this review as just a small way of repaying a good deed. The experience was excellent from start to finish. They earned a customer for life. read more

All Time Detection has been my alarm/security system provider for as long as I can remember. From my house growing up to my mothers (next) home, my in-laws and siblings. We have all used All Time for years and been extremely happy with the service they provide. When we moved into our home almost 18 years ago we promptly swapped out the existing provider for All Time, and have only positive experience. They are responsive, helpful and courteous. They've always helped to troubleshoot when possible prior to sending out a tech and incurring extraneous charges and fees. Over the years we have grown to know some of 'the team' and they've been great. I would highly recommend contacting them for your alarm or security services!! read more

My alarm company was sold to All Time Detection. Have had no problems with them. Whenever the alarm has sounded on my home, whether it be the buglar alarm or smoke detector, I've gotten a call from them within a minute of the sounding of the alarm. I don't know about contract issues but when it comes to response to alarms, they're tops in my book. My old alarm company would take over 5 minutes to respond. read more

I had a terrible experience with them. After receiving a quote for a home security system based on a one year monitoring contract, I paid a large down payment for installation of the system. Then, I received another proposed contract from them which would require payment for 5 years of monitoring, even if we moved out of our house, would require us to buy $1 million in liability insurance for them, would require us to pay for their attorneys if there was a dispute, limited their liability to us to $250 no matter what they did wrong, and more. I spent hours negotiating a more reasonable contract, only to then be called by the owner who told me he did not want to do business with me. The reason is obvious. They don't want to do business with anyone who realizes how outrageous their terms are. The large deposit I gave them for the security system that was not installed has not been returned, though they said they will return it. Avoid this company like the plague! read more

Absolutely do not trust this company. Despite having a 1 year lease, they tried to dupe me into honoring a 5 year contract -- neatly hand written (and clearly changed ) on the contract after I signed. The service was fine but then as soon as I had a problem that needed addressing they utterly disappeared. And despite a non-functioning alarm, they still have the gall to attempt to force me to pay for it!! Very corrupt. read more

Cheaters! I agree with the other review that this company tries to dupe you into a 5 year contract. Because they aren't as good as other alarm companies, the only hold they have his to hold people to a five year contract. If they were so sure of their quality and service, they would not need to make people do five year contracts and have strict (IMPOSSIBLE!) way to end the contract. Use any other alarm company but this one with their fraudulent policies! read more
