Come Friday the crew said they would not be ready to lay asphalt until Monday, they needed an extra day to finish the grading, No Problem just get it right. Later that day Tim called and said they would be paving on that Friday no matter what. Paid in full that Friday. Took weeks before Tim returned calls about fixing the low spots and Tim kept saying low spots were hard to fix. I know the only way to fix the issue right is tear it back out and finish the base work right. Then when he did have the crew come out and look at it. They ended up patching it (dumping more hot mix into the lowest spot. $33,000 for a patched driveway that looked like crap. I called and told him it was unacceptable, when he came back out I was not here but Tim told my Mom who was here at the time. ,"The driveway has to sit for a whole year before they could do anything with it including sealing." That is NOT TRUE. The next year they finally came out to fix the drainage issue and never addressed the bird baths (low spots) If the salesman Tim had not rushed the crew to pave the job would have been done right and looked beautiful. Once the job was paid for Tim seemed to wash his hands of the issues that needed to be addressed.

Granted, SNB did beautiful work for many years in the Reno area, most of the reviews on this page are true, and based on that, and having seen his work at the home of a friend's, we signed up to have him build a project at our new home. Took our money and that was the last we heard of him. Turns out he was in Chapter 11 when he took our money and subsequentially closed his business permanently last month. ALWAYS, Always, always... check with your state's contractors board and your local Better Business Buearu first. And get 3 estimates, let our pain be your gain! I called Ipsen construction on a Thursday and the lady on the phone said she could have Ryan, the owner out the next day, Friday at 2pm for a quote to have some doors installed. 2pm Friday comes and no call saying they are on their way or running late. I attempted to call both the office and Ryan's cell phone and received no answer. He ended up showing up at 2:10 which wasn't that big of a deal. But good customer service would have been to call and say they were running late. He looks at the work to be done and says he will have the quote to me the next day, Saturday and could do the work the following week. Saturday comes and goes. No quote. I call that Monday and the lady at the office takes my email again and says it will be over in the next day or two. I don't get it for a week later. And it was incorrect based on our conversation. I emailed back with the corrections that took 3 more days to receive an updated estimate. I have called the office serval times in the last week looking for a start date. They never answer their phones and they do not call back. Don't waste your time with this company, they will just string you along.

He is very knowledgeable, reasonably priced, respectful, and always offers thoughtful suggestions without being pushy. For this project, he came by about three times and did several things: moved the sink and toilet plumbing about a foot to the left (this was my request because I plan to install a handicap-accessible shower in the future), installed a new cabinet and toilet, mounted a mirror with hidden electrical, replaced outdated lighting with recessed lighting, and handled drywall work and prep for paint. Check out the before and after pics! 2) Garbage disposal replacement: I called him on a Friday, and we were able to schedule for Monday. He showed up right on time, finished in about 20 minutes, and cleaned everything up afterward. He's efficient, professional, and just genuinely nice to work with. At this point, Ezequiel is definitely my go-to. I spoke with Codi the week before closing and he offered a ball park quote but wanted to get into measure to be precise. Unfortunately, I couldn't let them in until we closed and wanted the floor done in the same week, so we could move the following week. They came on a Tuesday to measure and confirm the quote, which did not change from the original and was very fair. They started on Wednesday and finished on Friday. The floor cured on Saturday/Sunday and we moved in on Monday. It was such a tight timeline and we were so busy, I didn't have time to get them any payment until after the work was done. They went out of their way to get it done so we could move on time. Results are fantastic. Thank you.
