Vegan options this time that I tried were grilled portobello mushroom, veggie burger, bbq beans, and then they also provided some fruit. The mushroom was decent, juicy and well seasoned, however veggie burger was quite dry and flavorless on its own. I probably liked the beans the best. My coworkers who had the meats also felt it was just fine. They also had some bread rolls which I was told were kind of hard, not soft.

Dear Brian: I cannot…read moreeven begin to tell you how delightful the evening catering was strategically put out. The food was extraordinary and the servers were super great at getting folks to "splurge" and just have one more. Oh my gosh, most folks beamed with pleasure after tasting the Beef wellingstons, the lettuce wraps, the crab cakes, those pear tarlets! Some even carried on discussion on how healthy the appetizers were. Cheat A Little selections were really a hit! The greenery/decor made a nice festive touch that seemed to invite folks over to have a coke or a little wine and cheer. We had a live acoustic musician playing in the background, and the whole time was bathed in warmth and good tidings. It was beyond enjoyable, delicious, and great. I'm fairly new at the San Mateo County History Museum, so I don't have the years of experience that others might have to know how well adapted you and your company Cheat-A-Little are to these events. I am so pleased with myself for trusting you. High-five, a TEN, perfect score for you and your excellent catering business my friend! Under the Rotunda the set up, quality foods, and tall tables made it the finest, friendliest, most festive time. We are so so pleased. Thanks a million! Thanks from the San Mateo County History Museum staff!

On the day of our Vow Renewal, my wife and I were running late, and were pleasantly surprised to find that the catering staff had taken it upon themselves to carefully put out our centerpieces, which we thought we would have to do. They even packed them away at the end of the night. We got multiple compliments from guests admiring the service. The team was extremely friendly, packed away leftovers for us and other guests, and was on top of their game the whole night! Ali was flexible with our last-minute changes, and Brian even drove to multiple locations just to find the same wine we drank on our honeymoon (which was a hit) so guests could partake. We are so so pleased. They were easily the best vendor of the entire event.

I really appreciated my communication with Mary, who worked with me to suggest options in my budget and also was flexible as our event date changed. The ordering process was done via email. Once I placed my order, I actually picked it up from the store across the street, Woori Market, since I had an evening event. They provided plates, utensils, and labels for the food as well. The cocktails (2 cocktails, 1 mocktail - unlimited per head) All of which were customized to our specs. We were incredibly impressed with them during our tasting. Everything tasted the same quality as it would be served in a restaurant; it certainly didn't taste like "wedding food" - and given how snobby we are about food, we were super impressed. They were really good about communication, too. And while the pricepoint wasn't cheap (~$38,000 for a 148 person wedding), we opted to go with Feast For A King. The Good: - Overall the food was very high quality, significantly above average quality for wedding food - Extremely communicative and easy to work with - Wait staff were amazing day-of! The Not-So-Good: - I would say the food was ~15% worse than when we tasted day of. While this may be expected for bulk food, for the pricepoint I was expecting closer to perfection - They ran out of one of the cocktails at one point, and needed to ship in more, causing a bit of a disruption with bartending service - The quality of the drinks definitely varied; several guests said that they ordered the same drink, but each of their drinks tasted different Overall really happy with them, and would definitely recommend!
