We ordered: - makhani (aka butter chicken), $12 - steamed chicken momo's (dumplings), 8 for $13 - a set of 3 various flavored tacos, $11 - 8" personal cheese pizza, $10 - dessert of 2 scoops of cookie monster ($3.99 each) and a double scoop of coffee atop ferrero rocher ($5.99) I really enjoyed my order of makhani and it was a very good and delicious deal with a lot of chicken and delicious sauce for $12. The basmati rice serving that came with it was a bit skimpy for the amount of chicken and sauce provided though. We stopped by at EATACO over the weekend after attending the art festival from Chicago. Their ambiance and mural arts were beautiful. I live in the city my whole life and have a visit in a lot of places. Tacos also happens to be one of my favorite foods. Let me tell you that I have never had any tacos as unique as EATACO's. Their patio was the highlight of Northbrook and beautiful lighting. My favorite tacos were the fish, ajo shrimp and steak tacos. My husband loves the lamb and barbacoa. We also tried the mexicalamari which was absolutely delicious. The margaritas we're perfect smooth- clearly they use quality tequila it the sugar balance was also perfect not packed with sugar like many other places. I will be sending all my foodie friends over from Chicago and will make a spot at least once a month. read more

Decided to stop by Eataco since all our friends and family are raving about this place. We were there Friday evening with a group of 8 people and were blown away with the quality of food and service. The staff and owners were all very friendly. I had the lamb barbacoa, spicy shrimp, and corn burrata all of which were out of this world. The Organic Pink drink was also phenomenal. My boy friend also had the spicy shrimp, Thai pork and a steak quesadilla all of which were also very tasty. The rest of the group was also very pleased with their food and can't wait to go back. Given that they have only been open for just a couple of days, the quality of the service was great despite the wait. The line was out the door but, totally worth it. read more
