I saw that they have a taco or fajita meal that was perfect for my family of 5 so I went with the taco option since it was the most affordable of the 2. It showed up within 45 min (thanks Doordash) and we had 12 tacos (steak and chicken), an appetizer (chips & salsa) and churros. It was listed for a family of 6, but my boys can eat a lot so it was the perfect amount for our family of 5. Everyone cleaned their plates and agreed it was really tasty. I'll definitely be adding this to our Sunday rotation of family meals!

These positive reviews must come from retirement folks with no taste buds but this place has…read morepossibly the worst "Mexican" food in the area. There was a time Pre-Covid when this place served decent food but that time has passed. Sure the owner is super nice but the food is just plain bad and he should know better! He served me a steak that was probably taken from the back of the freezer bcoz it was rank and tasted like spoiled meat. That did it for me! You know once you get food poisoning anywhere you just can't go back. Tables and floors are sticky and need a deep clean. I can only imagine the condition of the kitchen. If I had to compare Tamales with Taco Bell, TB offers more authentic food. Plus you'll come away more satisfied (even with their lettuce recall ) and less change outta ur wallet. Go there instead!

Service is quick and the establishment is clean. It reminds me of my trips to Morelia! Do yourself a favor and go. I'd say it's worth a 20 mile drive! Note I almost never do 5 stars, so 4 is great.

The service was quick, and I was in and out in 5 minutes. I didn't stay there to eat, but the restaurant's atmosphere was nice (not too loud, which I appreciate). Our francheesies weren't served on a hot dog bun. We got the kind of bread you get an Italian beef sandwich on. I've never seen a hot dog served like this. The meat and cheese was tasty, but that was way too much bread. The fries were terrible. They tasted like they were fried twice or something. It's hard to explain but they're not good. Others mention fresh cut fries. I'm sure those were great. What they're serving now is not an improvement at all. Lunch for two was $35. Not worth it.
