I believe that they worker said, "I appreciate you!" Wow! That's very nice of him! We took the plate home (it was too windy to sit alongside the busy sidewalk) and discussed the tasty ribs, sweet (molasses?) Baked beans and yummy green beans with smoked turkey. Mmm! I turn to set those down and while doing so I guess he thought now I would be able to handle carrying 2 platters and 2 drinks. When I said, "that's rude," he doubled down - telling another customer I was an idiot because he was "busy" (there was only one person in line).
