Long story short, Dmetry showed up on time which is why I'll do 2 stars instead of 1. He determined that my fireplace needed a replacement part and quoted me $250 to replace it (part included). I asked for a breakdown in cost and that is when things got a bit shady... Dmetry wouldn't give me a breakdown unless I paid upfront basically. That raised a red flag for me so I did a quick search for the part and what would it take to replace it. Answer: the part was $45 on Amazon (was quoted $65 for it) and to replace it, you only need to plug it in... that's it...nothing more. Dmetry wanted to charge me $200 to literally plug in the part (I am not exaggerating). 2 stars for being punctual...0 for trying to take advantage. EDIT: since apparently I am unable to respond to the respond the business provided - I am unsure as to why asking for a breakdown of what you are charging for requires for me to pay first. That defeats the purpose of asking for a breakdown. Also, NONE of the warranties you claim your service comes with were mentioned at any point in our conversation (pictures provided). $200 to unplug and plug a part in?!? Please. read more

Our ovens were taking ages to heat up and not being very consistent in terms of holding temperature. I used Yelp to get quotes from many repair folks, and Dmitry was the only one who gave a true estimate based on the problems I described--he didn't just quote the standard service fee. He was available that afternoon and showed up right on time. He diagnosed the issue (which was exactly what he'd thought it was based on the initial description), ordered the part, and was ready to come install it a couple of days later when it arrived. Again, he was on time, and he charged exactly what he'd told me he'd charge. He took the time to answer my questions and explain why we'd needed that part. Communication throughout (from texting that the appointment was confirmed all the way through to final billing) was excellent and extremely professional. Such a fabulous service. He came over at 8 PM at night after we asked him because we got off work late. His services were extremely professional and quick. Although it hurts my man pride deeply, he found the fix to the refrigerator within 45 minutes. I probably spent a day or two at least trying to think and figure out how this refrigerator broke. The value was unbeatable, I was thinking we had to get a new refrigerator for a bit, but turns out it was not a big issue. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat. read more

Our gas oven quit heating up. Easy Fix Oregon was able to come out the same day. Was very happy with the work.

My dryer was squealing. Dmitry arrived in the scheduled time period, disassembled the dryer and found that it was the belt pulley that was squealing on its axis. He replaced the pulley with the correct one for my Whirlpool Duet dryer, reassembled the appliance, and checked that it heated when turned on. He's the best and most reasonably priced appliance repairman I've hired. I recommend him without reservation. read more

I think their customer service is good yet the technician that came out didn't really know what he was doing. After research before he got there I knew what the likely problem was when my stove lights stopped working. The tech came to same conclusion and said he'd order the part. Once the part came in he came back and after 30 minutes said it would take 2 people to take the vent apart. I asked why didn't he determine this when he was first there and he kind of fumbled with an answer. A wasted $90 upfront fee for assessment. in the end I just attached new cordless lights to the stove hood otherwise this would likely have cost the same as simply replacing it. Dryer Repair - I had an AM appointment with Dmitri to fix my dryer. He attempted to contact me to verify my address and my phone put his call into my spam folder and I didn't see his text until too late. He graciously rescheculed my appointment for later the same day. He arrived on time and was expecting to replace the belt in my dryer, but it turned out that was not the problem.
