I've been going here for eight years. The last time, three years ago, I came in for a blown tire, was told which of my tires could use replacing, and paid $35 per tire (they were used, naturally, but an incredible bargain). They even patched my very flat spare tire for no additional cost. So why am I giving a 1 star review? My tires were on my last legs, so I went in (for those who still want to go in, you need to enter through the alley on leland just west of clark) to get all my tires replaced. I was quoted 800 dollars. I talked them down to 650, after the person working called Sergio, the owner (I assume) and put him on speaker. He said it would have to be lesser quality tires, but I just need fresh tires and I don't put a lot of miles on them, so I wanted to just get it over with. Of course I've since found that I could get mid-level tires for around 600 at a nearby Pep Boys. Sergio had me Zelle him $300 as a down payment (which felt insanely sketchy), and I had to come in at 9 the next day (today, actually) to get the tires put in. Honestly, I wish I had just taken my service elsewhere, but I already was pot committed with the $300 zelle payment (they only offered zelle and cash, even though they claim they take credit cards.) I woke up early to get there by 9, and was put on speaker phone with Sergio again (the workers there have a mix of speaking very good English and then speaking Spanish for other things...but I speak spanish sooooo nothing really got past- and i heard them charging another car only 500 for the same service I requested). Anyway, Sergio said he accidentally only ordered 1 of the tires I needed, so I had to come back at noon. To their credit, they did call me when the tires came in, at about 11:30, but then when I went in there and drove myself onto their work station, I was told "we need to talk." He said the tires I paid for are here, but they're not the best, and he could upgrade them for, eh, another $55. I'm already overpaying, am frustrated, have planned out most of my Saturday around getting this done and over with, so I just say, no, use the tires I agreed to already. From there, the job got done quickly, about 10 or 15 minutes, but the entire process left me so disillusioned. I literally was bragging about how great of a deal and how positive of an experience I had with these guys right before I brought my car in. And instead I got blindsided, swindled, ignored and overcharged. I have to assume ownership has changed, because I don't recall any Sergio when I last was going here, and I don't think Sergio has his customer's best interests at heart. I really want to support places like these, little alleyway garages with independent workers doing good work, and for so long that WAS this place. But I don't think it is anymore. read more

Only go here if you are in desperate need. They charged me $40 for a plug and it still leaked. They also run scams like telling you one of your bolt threads snapped or some other random bs. They have done this twice to me and I won't be back. I've watched them do it to other customers too. If you go here I guarantee you will charged for some surprise extra or you'll have to come back or get it properly repaired elsewhere. Shameful. read more

I have come to this place in the past and they have always done a fantastic job. Welcoming, great customer service, and do a great job at the tire repair. They were also honest and had integrity which l appreciated as a customer supporting a small business. However, when l came this was different for me as a customer. I went to get a slow leak repaired on my left rear tire. As l pulled into the garage, there was one guy working and l said hello to him and he didn't speak when l got out the car. I proceeded because there seem to be a language barrier. Then he walked off and went to the back to grab another guy who I am assuming was the manager. He asked me what was the issue and he acted like l didn't know why l was coming in there when l told him. I said to him l needed a plug due to a slow leak in my left rear tire. he asked me how did l know and did put air in the tire. Which l thought was a ridiculous question. I have a tire gauge monitor like most newer cars usually do. Anywho, I told him what tire l needed him to look at and then the original man who didn't speak began to check my tires. They were speaking Spanish to one another. That why l assume there was a language barrier.However he just checked the air in my tires. He was going to let me pull off until l insisted on him looking at the tire l asked him to look at. Mind you, l did not need any air in my tires. The tires were all fine with pressure prior to me coming a had a pressure gauge. So while the guy is checking air in my tires and whistling like they getting away with something l asked the manager how much is the charge. read more

These people do not know what they are doing. We brought in our GLA 250 to fix a left front flat. They improperly tightened the wheel lock until it seized by using an air tool (out of laziness). The wheel now can no longer be removed (broke our key lock tool). They are unable to fix (or don't want to). Avoid this place. read more

We discovered we might have a leak in 1 or 2 tires on a cold Saturday evening right before we were planning to leave town. After 2 other tire places couldn't help us, they recommended Easy Tire. We called about 45 minutes before closing time and they said they could get us right in. We pulled in, they checked the tires and found a nail in one of them, and put on the new tire in about 10 minutes! Problem solved, and we were on our way! This place is flippin' awesome. The staff is so nice and explains everything about the pricing. I was able to get a great quality used tire for my Fiat 500x for $60 and my thermostat replacement should come out to half the price quoted at other larger shops (pepboys etc) and that includes them ordering the part directly from fiat (he advised against third party and from my research, I think he's right. Better to use direct from manufacture for this part which includes electrical sensors). Anyhoo, the whole experience has been 10/10. Will be going here from now on! Remember to pull into the alley in the back. The front on Clark is basically just signage. You can't miss it once you turn into the alley. :) read more

As my wife and I were about to head home to Michigan yesterday afternoon (Sunday) we discovered that the hook end of a bungee cord was imbedded in one of our tires. It was 3:50pm. Easy Tires closes on Sundays at 4:00pm. Nonetheless, when we called the gentleman who we spoke with agreed to help us and when we arrived at 4 he happily welcomed us in. He and his associate quickly jacked up the car to check out the tire in question. Fortunately, the hook wasn't in very deep, the tire wasn't leaking, and he sent us on our way. I have no doubt, however, that if it was necessary, he would have stayed open long enough to fix or replace the tire. The essence of kindness and competence- an awesome combination. read more

No BS place. Really great guys and fast service. Went there today to get 4 new tires on my car and it was the best customer service experience I have ever had. I knew my tires needed to be replaced BADLY and had to take a 250mi round trip this weekend. When I got there they told me they didn't have my tires but knew I needed to get it fixed ASAP with my trip being that day. They made some calls and went to go pick up the tires right then and there! Even took me to the ATM on the way because they are cash only. By the time we got back my car was jacked up and they put the new tires on in 10 min. Medina (now known as Easy Tire) is a great, great business based on my experience today. I came over with a flat based on reviews but not knowing what to expect, but Salvador welcomed me in, jacked the car up, identified the puncture, repaired the damage, and had the tire back on the car in 15 minutes, all for $25 including a tip. Cheap, super easy and excellent customer service to boot. Pull up in the alley immediately east of Clark and Leland and ring the bell for service. Highly recommended! read more

I *WISH* I would have discovered Easy Tires years and years ago! New recent customer but will be returning for all my tire needs in the future for sure. I recently noticed my tire was losing air. I went to the gas station to put air into it. That's when I noticed a piece of glass was in my tire. Damn! I called around to get quotes for getting my tire fixed. Easy Tires didn't give a ball park and they didn't give a high quote. They gave a more-than-fair, exact quote, quickly and clearly. Easy Tires was among other places that gave the lowest price but were quick and clear about their estimate, and wasn't equivocal or hesitant in the least to give the exact estimate that gave me, so I decided to give them a try. I pulled up and they were ready to go. No wait. Super nice people. Quick and easy fix and finalizing of the transaction. I was out the door as a pleased customer in no time. I have to completely disagree with V.B. My experience at Medina, which includes two separate visits so far, has been great. They fixed my flat tire in less time than I would have been standing in line at some corporate tire store. Seriously, my flat was fixed in like 10 minutes. And the price... come on... $10!!! NOBODY around here charges anywhere nearly that low! Trust me, I called around and most places charge $20-30 to fix a flat. Medina may not be fancy... it's literally a garage in the ally behind Clark, but the price is right, the service was nice and they did a good job. Almost gave up on this shop because they didn't open at the posted time. They opened 30 mins late. But I'm glad I waited because the mechanic changed my tire in 5 minutes and only charged me $30. Just $30 for the new (used) tire and the labor. I was like "that's it?!" I half expected the tire to fall off when I drove away, but a month later the tire is still good and on my car!
