My 16 year old son has been ready to get behind the wheel for some time. He was eager and excited. The moment we contact Mike, he came over to meet up with us at the house to go over all the paperwork. He was on time, professional and reassuring. The reassuring part is for me. The price he charged is on par with most of all the other driving schools in our area. 6 hours of lessons in 3 days. My son told me that he was good at Mario Kart and told me not to worry. Well, what do you know, the kid did alright on his first day. Mike was an amazing teacher, patient and my son felt very comfortable with him. I cannot in good conscience rate any higher, because to put it simply, the instructor is a piece of work. It's hard to drive well when you're forced to listen to a bitter woman talk about some downright bigoted garbage for two hours straight. I'm white, so maybe she'd thought I would be on her side when she talked down to every other race. And she had the nerve to say she wasn't racist during my last session. It was exhausting, I was dreading every lesson after the first one. She loves the sound of her own voice, I would try to make conversation and she would just steer the topic back to herself and her story and her awful opinions. Even if I did happen to agree with her views, it's unprofessional how much she tried to talk politics with me. Well, talk politics at me, not with me. Request her son if you really want to go here, I have heard he's nothing like her and is actually pleasant to be around.
