Bought a brand new truck 2025 Toco, I have 4000 KM on it and I was stranded last night and today, had to call for a jump to get my truck started. Service guy said bat was no good. Drove to dealership and had to wait 2.5 hrs waiting for a battery. So for 2 days of inconvenience I was offered a car wash...witch i was to was free anyway when I bought the truck. Having second thoughts on my purchase now. Only thing that kept me grounded was Heather...she was great! read more

I will start off with an apology; this will be quite a long review so buckle up. First I'll start with saying scheduling the appointment was great, no phone waiting, people knew exactly what was going on and were quite personable. Getting to the dealership was fine, simple enough to understand. Service advisor was fine as well, I think they did a good job. Where things start to go off the rails a little bit is that once in the dealership, the people were not the friendliest, seemed almost a little hostile, no one really said hello other than the service manager who was fine. The flooring in the refreshment area is definitely a choice as there is no flooring there, it's fine, probably just being renovated (I hope). The washrooms have a sign that say they're cleaned once a day at 9pm which is definitely a choice given the current world circumstances. It does say, however that the customers should let them know if there's issues which would be fine except they seem to relieve themselves of any responsibility as if they wouldn't check otherwise (again I hope they're checking their washrooms periodically without a customer asking them to). The reminder to wash your hands was nice except they forgot French and then wrote it in with pen (not really an issue but just found it to be funny that they had at least 5 other languages and forgot French). Outside the dealership was interesting as well. Many of their cars had spiderwebs on them which is understandable if they're old/used/brand new in plastic still but these are display cars that have spiderwebs on them. This includes their Lexus at the very front facing the main road which is riddled with spiderwebs as well. After the service on my vehicle was complete, it took about an hour for a representative to come get me. Fine, out to lunch, no worries. The receipt and report given at the end of the service had all of the services performed but did not have an inspection report highlighting tire depth, brake wear, wipers, lights, anything standard that any reasonable dealership would give you. In addition, the dash cam was unplugged and not plugged in again. This is a new one I've never experienced at any other dealership which makes me wonder what exactly they were doing that would require them to not have record of it. The plastics they install to keep oils and germs off of the steering wheel, seat and gear selector were installed and the only reason I know that is that they were not fully removed causing me to have to touch that stuff anyway. Doesn't make sense. Anyway, I feel like I've gone on long enough, there were a few more things but probably no one from the dealership will read this or care or maybe it'll make it to the "marketing team" or James from Lexus like for all of the other poor reviews. I'll probably never go here again, I think I would rather drive out to London or Sarnia in the middle of winter next time. read more

Worst service ever!! I called on behalf of my wife's family who are in Canada for a visit and wanted to buy a new Toyota. I called and spoke to the sales manager to simply ask if it was possible if we could purchase a new vehicle and have it shipped over seas. Seems simple enough no?? He went on and on about ethics and has license that he could only sell in Canada to Canadians bla bla bla. I felt that he was insinuating that I was somehow doing something illegal or unethical. I just wanted info. At one point he laughed at me and now as a result my parents will buy another brand and use a expedite company to move it. All I wanted was info and instead I get humiliation. I will know file a complaint with Toyota Canada and what ever governing board oversees dealerships. I strongly recommend dealing with another dealership in the city. read more

Just called for service, transferred 5 times then had to leave a voicemail. Guess where I am NOT going for service? Update: Just got a call back, unable to get a quote to repair 2011 RAV4 I4. Inquired the cost to replace O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 they were only able to tell me the price of the part. Ask what the hourly shop labour rate is, told it's about $125. I then asked if they know the exact labor rate per hour was told no, so I guess the hourly rate is whatever they feel? I do not understand how this place is in business. read more

I bought pre-owned vehicle. I had mixed experience at the time of purchase, even I conveyed my concern to sales person. After that when tried to contact through phone felt like ditched very badly. After repeated emails got some clarification but remaining questions remained unanswered. Even repeated emails are either replied very reluctantly or ignored at all. Had a worst experience of life and would strongly advise to avoid this dealership. read more

Dishonest dealership. Look them up on Better Business Bureau and you will see that they have a well deserved "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau. I made the mistake of purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership. When I got home, the vehicle had water condensing inside of the headlight. I contacted the dealership and was told that that was an issue that was not theirs to deal with as it left the dealership "fine". This type of a problem is something that is not detected until the light has been on and the chance that condensation can form. My second issue is the complete lack of disclosure of the vehicle accident history. At no point was I told the vehicle was in both a front and back end collision. Oddly enough, when I brought it into another Toyota dealership they were able to determine that the front bumper was new simply by feeling the difference in the paint job between the bumper and the passenger quarter panel! This literally took 5 seconds for the individual to determine the accident nature that this vehicle was in. Third, the inside of the vehicle was disgusting. When they say a vehicle is "clean" I received a car that had brown fingerprints in the controls where the sunroof are. The trunk had mud stains. When I brought it into another place for cleaning they were surprised as to this being a "dealer prepped" vehicle and found a number of golf items (an exacto knife, a putter head, a device for cleaning shoes) that were left in the vehicle. The key FOB had debris and animal hair when my wife took it apart. Do not make the mistake I did by purchasing a vehicle here. Upon a discussion to return the vehicle, the dealership had the nerve to tell me to pay for the headlight as part of the "deal". Have a look at my profile photo and you can see the headlight with water forming inside of it. Edit: Dealership also allowed for the incorrect tires to be put on this vehicle. The tires that were put on the vehicle were of a speed rating of "H" and not the "V" that should be with the vehicle. I am not surprised by this additional and improper cost saving measure by this dealership. Edit 2: I filed a BBB complaint with them and they have decided not to respond despite having multiple opportunities to do so. Last look at their website showed a rating of "F"! Not surprised in the least. read more

I have had two very bad experiences with their service department. In the second case they charged me $535 for rear drum brakes on the Toyota Corolla. They did not even replace the drums. Anyone with any repair experience knows this is a complete ripoff. I've purchased six Toyotas is from them. Just not happy with the way I get treated when I'm there. I love my Toyota. I've had it for 10 years now and the only major thing I've had to repair were the brakes. I'll admit I purchased my car in Hamilton, but I've been taking it to Eastway Toyota for servicing since I moved to Windsor 8-9 years ago. They are very professional. My car is going to hit 300 000 Km in a few weeks. I can't tell you how pleased I am about that. read more

I asked for an estimate to replace a 2013 Sienna fuel door (hinge was broke again) which they had fixed for me before yet had no record of. They came back with $442 + taxes. I called London Toyotatown and they stated it had to be fixed at autobody shop and that they would charge 270+taxes. I called a local autobody shop and they gave an estimate of 260+taxes. The fuel door part was $129 Cdn at Eastway Toyota compared to $62 US at Suburban Toyota in Detroit. Seems riduculous to me that they charge almost double the price for just driving the car to the autobody shop and supposedly do some paperwork. read more

My car recently got into a really bad accident where it was hit from behind by an 18 wheeler and then my front end was pushed under the back end of my bf's car so I was told by my insurance company to take it there. It took almost a month for my car to be "fixed" and when I got it back, there was garbage let behind by them in my car, my mudflap was left in my backseat, and they didn't fix my back bumper where there was damage from the accident. I then drove it for a few weeks and realized that a piece of my car was hanging on the front end, which then began to drag as I drove on the expressway. I then took my car to my mechanic (where I bought my car) and he looked at it and told me that the piece hanging was my skid plate and it was because they attached it to my car with zip ties, instead of attaching it properly. A day later, I took it back to Eastway Toyota and told them that they need to fix my bumper, to which they replied by saying that they were "unaware" that there were any damages to my back bumper even though they gave me a copy of the insurance claim which stated that there was damage to it. And, when I told them about my skid plate being damaged, they refused to fix it because they claim that I ran over a cement block which caused damage to it. When I told them that I'm the only driver of my car and that I never ran anything over, they still continued to tell me that I caused it somehow and that it's not their responsibility to fix it. I then called my insurance company the issue and my insurance company argued with them for over 15 minutes about them having to fix my skid plate because they installed it wrong, and they told my insurance company that I caused it and they're not fixing it. Now, my insurance company is getting their manager involved because my car was in mint condition until it got into the accident and they fixed it and ever since then, I've been having to bring it back for repairs because they didn't fix it properly the first time. On top of all this, they also installed my headlights wrong. All in all, do not take your car here for repairs because they will find the cheapest way to fix it, will not do the job properly, and then blame you for any damages that they have caused to your car. read more

Toyotas are great reliable cars but this is not a good dealer. Stay away if you can. Otherwise, read you receipts and question everything. They over charge me a few times, both in sales and service. They were honest people a decade ago. It must be something to do with the current owner. read more

This Toyota dealership is top drawer on customer service and would highly suggest dropping in.We had an ignition issue that was dealt with on our 1998 Rav 4 and to our delight came in under budget. John is service dept.,was very helpful,don't change a thing!Thank You. read more
