I used Eastside Housecleaning for several years and have just recently terminated the service. PROS: --Their employees are very nice and honest. --They will actually do quite a bit of straightening up when they clean the house. Some other services will only scrub and clean, but refuse to tidy up any things that might be left out. --The service is competitively priced. CONS: --They really do a pretty superficial job of cleaning. They don't really do much dusting. And I have recently noticed that they haven't done some thing like wiping down the cabinets in the kitchen in a long time, if ever. I also found that they cleaned the counters around countertop appliances, rather than moving them to clean the whole counter. --Occasionally rooms were entirely forgotten or a bathroom would get cleaned, except for the toilet. The first time this happened I called the owner and got a credit. It happened a couple more times after that. Overall, I would like to give them a higher rating, because the people are very nice, but the quality of the service was a bit uneven. Finding some of the things that they appear to have never cleaned recently was a bit of a disappointment too. read more

As Jim L. wrote, I dislike giving this company a poor score because they are actually super nice and easy to schedule. Many cleaning companies don't call back, but communication with EC was great. Unfortunately, my first time using their service will be the last - they just don't know how to clean.The team was very friendly, punctual, and polite. However, the first cleaning was supposed to be a deep clean and this didn't even come close. The team left many areas dirty; they didn't move items while dusting, and parts of the kitchen countertop were completely ignored.Appliances were not wiped down. Window sills were not dusted, and some of the baseboards needed further cleaning. The kitchen floor was not well mopped; I can see dirt in the corners. This is all stated in the "included services." The contact person took my concerns seriously. She apologized and offered to send the team back, but honestly I don't have time to train what is supposed to be a professional cleaning team. We used to have regular cleaning in our home and recently decided to start doing it again. My husband looked online and found Eastside Cleaning. They were easy to schedule with. Unfortunately, I can't say if they cleaned the entire time they were here and by the looks of our home, I doubt they were here for very long. After the cleaners left, they called my husband and said they were finished cleaning and only ran out of time to clean our powder room. They were allegedly here 90-120 minutes. We came home to dishes in the sink, an unswept and unmopped floor, no one vacuumed, small trashes were not emptied, and the laundry room and bedrooms were not touched. Our master bathroom was cleaned (except in the toilet room) and the guest bathroom was cleaned- sort of. I'm not sure what they did, but I could have done a better job by myself in 45 minutes than we paid $200 for them to do with two people in the time they claimed to have been here. I have never been so disappointed in a cleaning service (or lack thereof). I've attached pictures, too. One is of the dirt under our buffet in the kitchen that I swept in addition to the rest of the floor after the cleaners left. The second photo shows everything I swept up. If looking for a cleaning service on the Eastside, I would recommend using ANYONE other than Eastside Housecleaning. read more

Today was the first day that we had Candi and Angel over to clean our house- I must say they are FAST, EFFICIENT, on-time, friendly, and just....wow. I thought my husband and I were 'good' at cleaning....but compared to them... I've never seen the house this clean before. It smells wonderful, and the tiny details are just phenomenal. They have exceeded our expectations. I am so absolutely disgusted with the level of service received. I feel as though the reviews that state the service associates were friendly were Just falling for the fake customer service. The owner Taylor is two faced and is terrible at cleaning. I have hired her many times to clean my home each time I knew I shouldn't have but with covid it's been tough finding cleaners at all. She not only was rude to me on the phone when I asked questions like how long she had been the owner. Under previous ownership I actually liked this company. Since Taylor took over it seems to have taken a turn for he worse. Just to see if they were actually cleaning underneath cupboards/items on counter I left a $5 bill and a note saying if you find this it's your tip. It was there 4 times in a row after them coming to my house to " clean" the baseboards are not wiped, the windowsills are not wiped, nothing was dusted, my bathroom was barely cleaned. Trash was not emptied, toilet was not scrubbed. Shower was untouched. Sink still had toothpaste in it from my kids that morning. 2 bedrooms of 4 were untouched. She only cleaned the master bedroom and the spare bedroom. My wife believes that a family heirloom was also taken off of her night stand as it is nowhere to be found since their entry into my home. She did not touch the kids rooms. Nor did she do the dishes. My house was just as messy as it was before and it appears all they did was swept and not even well. I will NEVER be hiring them again. I recommend you don't either. Save yourself the hassle of cleaning your house and paying a service and just go elsewhere! I have since hired suburban housekeeping and they are absolutely wonderful. Since hiring them I am no longer finding Dog hair on the carpets, dirt on the hard wood, things missing, dishes in the sink, etc. I feel as though I put a lot of trust into taylor when hiring her and allowing her to come into my home. I do not feel she is trust worthy. when I reached out to her and sent her photos of the messes, she simply stated " those had to have been after we left because we cleaned right" this was of course not the case because I sent them as soon as I returned home And no one else had been in the home other than east side cleaning. I was not offered even a partial refund and was met with rude behavior when I asked how they were going to fix this situation as it had happened many times. I will never give them my business again and I hope you all do the same. They do not deserve your money. read more

We had a deep clean done yesterday before Christmas and prior to our baby arriving, so I wanted all of the nooks and crannies cleaned.
