Eastside Barbers is the most surefire barber shop I've consistently visited out of OC, LA, and time in the Midwest. They're top tier.

Found this gem close to home.. & wow! I couldn't be happier. I was looking for a barber that could get my son's haircut JUST the way he wanted it (he's a picky little guy). The vibe of the shop is awesome from the minute you walk in. We booked with Damien on a whim and he NAILED it. He took his time with my son and asked him if he was liking the cut as he was working to ensure he was happy with it. The best part was the price! These guys are top notch and very affordable. Shane was also working in the shop and these guys are just cool as hell. Very personable and engaging. They made the whole experience worth it. Haircut was not even worth it, I got a Cesar haircut, was told my front hairs would "not lay flat cuz my hair is just so thick" - that's not a thing, I've never had that problem with any other barber. The barber next to me then proceeded to complain about cutting Asian people's hair, claiming it was "difficult" and such. Why even say that? Even if I wasn't part Asian, that is so upsetting and unprofessional and racist. The way they talk about women too-disgusting. I'll never understand the pressures to act misogynistic, not a good look. And like some other reviewer mentioned, no masks at all. No regards for safety, I'm sorry but you deserve to be shut down. On my way out, the racist barber sarcastically said "hope we have you back soon!" Very well aware that I was uncomfortable. Very talented barbers that give detailed quality service for a good price. They stay pretty busy so make an appointment through their website and try to call to confirm before you go. The vibe is very laid back and for the boys, they have cool antique decorations all over the place and every time I come they always make me laugh and have a good time. Been coming here for a couple years and I've never had a bad haircut once which is an insane level of consistency. This place has a unique dynamic character to it that's hard to explain and cool to experience. Live this place!! The girl on the phone was supper KOOL. The guys that work the shop are really fun. I watched Cheech and Chong while I was waiting for my hair cut and to top everything off. Swear this is the place that Floyd's tried to copy when they branded and decorated all their stores. The only problem is that Floyd's doesn't have the real barbers. Again the people working here is what makes this place awesome. My haircut and beard turned out great and I will be back soon. I actually had an appointment for last week but when I showed up the place was a swimming pool. It turns out right before my appointment the water heater broke and the place completely flooded. Came in the other day because of a recommendation from my house manager. Sat down to an oldskool pimp movie and immediately felt the vibe. Went to Tommy's chair and this guy went to WORK! Took his time, listened to my request. No other barber understands how to work with flatheads. Time and time again, I've been disappointed with cuts that cut my back too short. However, Tommy did a sick job. Clean fade, straight part, and trimmed to the top just enough to let it grow. This was the first time I didn't have to go straight to the shower to get rid of all the hairs off my neck and clothes. Received compliments from hella people too. Found my barbershop. I had been trying to get a beard cut for about a couple weeks however my schedule wouldn't allow it, after a long week I finally had a few hours to spare on Saturday so I googled it and found Eastside Barbers I was exited to try this shop that was near me and open and closed at a reasonable time. so imagine my surprise when I entered at 2:54 and was told "yep we're done for the day" they didn't ask what services I required or much of anything else they just brushed me off also they close at 4 PM. I wasted my time on not only traveling to the location but also in withdrawing money from the bank, I wanted to pay in cash from my experience barbers and stylist appreciate it much more as it's easier and there is an option to pay online but I decided cash would be better and they would appreciate it more so I arrived with plenty of it in hand. Just to be told that they're closed. In conclusion I wasted my time which I could've spent elsewhere and I now have to run back to my bank to deposit the cash I withdrew and I was treated very poorly and kind you I arrived an HOUR before they closed not 30 minutes before or 40 minutes but a whole hour. If you like wasting your time and like being treated like the people you give your money to are doing you a favor come on in! They'd be glad to scam you. read more

People are dying, and wearing a mask has been proven to stop the spread of Covid-19. They said they don't believe in this stuff and think it's a joke. over an hour to get a line up with a zero clip didn't help he did more talking than cutting hair.... had to tell the barber to fix my fade a few times then the other barber was getting pushy basically saying stop looking at my hair. First off I don't mind paying top dollar for a great cut second you don't have to walk around with a fucked up fade third wasted my day on a simple cut that usually takes 30 mins max so lost an hour of my life with family. I told the barber that i like my hair to the side and back. He told me he will cut a little bit from the top. Now my hair is super short. (My top hair was 5-6 inches and now is 2-3 inches tops). I've searched all over Orange County looking for a barber that can cut my two oldest kids hair. They are half white and half black so finding someone who can line them up and fade them properly is almost impossible. Luckily I found this Gem of a Barber Shop. Roland cuts both of their hair and spends on average at least an hour on each of them. Every time I leave the shop my kids look ridiculously good. If Roland isn't available Johnny is. I've watched Johnny do cuts every-time I'm here waiting. Every person that leaves his chair looks like someone just walked off a movie set. Both Roland and Johnny put every ounce of pride they have into their work. Hard to find that nowadays. Basically if you are looking for the Perfect Fade you don't have to look anywhere else. read more
