Took my dad here as a walk in for a shave and hair cut (shave his head). It was early on a weekday, they took him right in, asked what he wanted and got to work. My dad is particular about his appearance but he's aging and can't do things himself as much. He usually bics his face and head, they guy left just a little hair and explained it would prevent in growns. I appreciate he was thoughtful and helpful with my dad. The guy did a great job and my dad was happy with it. The place isn't super modern or super clean, but it definitely got the job done. This place is one of the best-kept secrets in town. The prices are great, they do a good job, and are super personable. Wait times are usually around 5 minutes, and they a good job. Overall, each stylist does comparable work. Not too sure how they do with Women as the majority of the clients are Men. I found these guys during COVID-19 and everything was shut down. First time a lady gave me a haircut. It was ok but kinda lacking, So i went back and tried with a guy with glasses. He cut it little weird too. For the third time, I tried with little older but shorter male barber. This guy didnt understand English much, and totally messed up my hair. He nodded like he understood me and messed it up. I got pretty upset but accepted it and took like 1.5 mo to grow my hair back. I called prior this time and the old guy said he would make it up. Then this time he really messed my hair up. Like literally almost bald spot on some parts like rats ate my hairs. I wonder if he did it intentionally cuz I raised a voice last time when he messed up my hair. Mind you, every time i got a hair done here, i tipped 10 dollars no matter what. So the 4th time was my trial. That was it man. If you really dont care how you look and save some money cutting, you can go here. I grew up having $12-15 haircuts, and everything about this place reminded me of my childhood. Pleasant Asian barbers working efficiently, no frills, no hipster hype. I want to believe that good barbers can still perform well with $15 plus a good tip. But I was horribly mistaken. I can't speak to the male barbers but the middle-aged female barber gave me one of the worst haircuts in my life. I showed her a picture with medium-short length and she proceeded to lop off 1.5-2 inches without hesitation. She used a razor on the sides of my head, and then used the razor to trim the top.. She used the scissors for maybe 2 minutes. She even had the nerve to ask me at the end if I wanted a shorter cut. Worst haircut imaginable, I've never seen let alone had such a horrible haircut. Asked for a mid fade combover and got a hard part almost on top of my head she had me facing away from the mirror the entire cut so i didn't notice until it was too late I also got a bad skin infection called folliculitis from the dirty unkept clippers this cheap haircut has cost me almost 700$ in after care. 100$ to attempt to fix the poor haircut, 2 200$ dermatologist appointment to get the infection fixed blood work and a culture test of the infection. This one goes to the older lady with the glasses who cut my hair, forgot her name but she is really good. I showed her the picture of the style that I wanted on my phone and she went right to work. She chopped off about 6 inches off the top, i was tired of my long hair. She knows exactly what to do. She is very detailed, she cleans up my hair off me multiple times, not just at the end, before she went back and cut some more with the clipper, I didn't have to watch her doing it since I had my eyes closed because I feel relax, but I could just feel it that she is great with the clipper. She also helps me style my hair as well. Can't believe they only charge $11!! Most places charge TWICE as much!! I would rather support local business than those chain shop like SportsClip and Supercut. So if you ever want a good quality haircut, come here!!! If you forgot your mask, they will sell you one!! Like many others in this area, I've been really hoping to find a barber that was finally opening after the 4+ months of Corona closing. Once the phase of barbers being allowed to open went public, I immediately tried looking for places that were going to open soon. This place reopened right on June 1st, 2020. In my opinion, they're doing a good job of being sanitary and ensuring safety for any customers to get a haircut. There's plastic dividing each haircut station. Every barber/employee is wearing a mask of some sort. They take your temperature before you can enter the building. You as the customer need a mask as well. They have protective wear on their hands. As others have said one of the greatest things about this place is how inexpensive it is compared to other places like Supercuts. It's $11 at a minimum for just a regular haircut, which is what I got. The tradeoff is that it's Cash Only so make sure to have some cash on you before walking in. I've only been here once and I had Anton cut my hair. He was a very polite and chill guy. He was very thankful for me being patient for waiting and for being understanding about bringing a mask inside to get a haircut. We also had nice lighthearted talk as he give me a #3/#2 buzz cut. One thing to note is that during Corona season, you can NOT call in a reservation. You have to drive to the place and sign in your name in person. You can then choose to schedule an appointment later on in the day or just wait for availability. Keep in mind that even when I arrived at 9:30AM-10:00AM on a Monday I still waited roughly 30 minutes since regulars were there. Once people start realizing this place reopened it'll most likely get even busier especially if you go after 5:00PM or on Weekends. Best barbershop in OC! All the staff are very friendly, professional, and welcoming. My go-to is Anton, and he has given me a perfect cut every time. The attention to detail is amazing and he spends quality time on your hair. They can do lineups, fades, tapers - you name it, and their prices are unbeatable. I've been to a ton of different barbershops, and this place cuts better than the pricier spots I've been to. Location is convenient being right off the 55 and there is always plenty of parking right in front. First time coming I went to Andy's chair (older gentleman with glasses) and he messed up my hair cut. I asked for a high taper on the side and back only and he started lining up my whole head for a fade. I instantly saw it was already too to late and told him I didn't want a fade. He asked "didn't you want a high fade?" He got confused what a high taper was and showed me pictures that were low tapers by the ear. I pulled up a picture and he said "oh." By time he finished my haircut I don't even know what I was left with. One side showed more skin than the other. Wish I went to someone more experienced, not sure if I'll be going back. Probably the quickest haircut I ever got too, in and out in 10-15 minutes and not in a good way. Gave 3/5 because I didn't experience a cut from the other barbers who have good reviews. read more

If you want to find a barber shop in the OC that gives the most consistent haircuts around, Todays Barber is the place to go. I've been going here for over 5 years and I have rarely left unsatisfied with my haircut. All the barbers are very friendly and welcoming. They charge $11 in cash for a general haircut which is dirt cheap compared to all the corporate barbershops around. (I would recommend stopping by the Stater Bros down the street to get cash back if you didn't carry cash with you) The only downside is that is does get pretty busy at anytime you go in but don't expect to wait too long because they move along pretty quick. They sell the pomade Suavecito here for $10 which I always pick up when I'm running low at home. I've been using this pomade for more than a couple years and It's the best hair product I have used to style my hair. I would recommend purchasing a container to try it out. read more
