Sunny has done an amazing job cutting my hair for several years. Friendly, skilled and customer-focused. Price is more than fair and I'd pay double what she charges for her level of detail. I always look forward to visiting her and always leave pleased with my haircut. read more

I called and made a kind request to get a refund and the lady I spoke to started getting angry and hanged up on me! Not professional I let her know that my partner came in and got a haircut nd asked for 3 inches off and left him bald, devastating due to him going through interviews she demanded for him to come in I let her know we are busy and can send a picture and email, she hanged up on me and I asked to speak to her supervisor very kindly and she said he is not here! That lady was rude and because of people like her business fail! I expect my money back since I paid for the hair services this past Wednesday. I need my $23.00 cash it seems like her number is the main number id like a main number please, not sure if professionals take reports like this easy but she was yelling makes me wonder if she is active with a cosmetology license. read more

Sunny's Barber Shop - No lining at all don't come here!!!! - Barbers Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

Super cuts quality, had long curly hair and asked to clean up the sides but not cut the top. Perhaps there was a communication issue, but he turned me away from the mirror, clipped the sides and cut the top. I look like Bert from the muppets. I don't know the name of the barber but he had me pay a different stylist via Zelle. read more

Sunny's Barber Shop - Bad hair cut - Barbers Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

This is the Best Barber Shop I have ever gone to. The quality of the hair cut was just right and the attention to details of my eyebrows and ears was a first. All that and a back and neck rub was a relaxing experience. Call for appointment. read more

I've been seeing Sunny (and all her coworkers) ever since she was one of the few barber shops open during the Pandemic. Since then I've consistently seen her to this day. Being a very nice Korean Woman who provides great haircuts for someone who likes admittedly simple buzzcuts. Cash only, but relatively reasonable prices. She will also text you holiday greetings if you contact her through cell phone. read more

Excellent service! Gotten several haircuts here every time I'm more than happy with the result. If you're looking for a quick easy haircut, they take very good care of you. Love the vibe here. Thank you Sunny read more

The barber completely ignored what I asked for, I've been trying to grow a mullet and I showed him a picture of my last cut and said I only want my neck cleaned and sides faded and he left me with an undercut. He cut off everything I've been growing since January. The man was nice but he charged me full price even though it's not what I asked for, I didn't want to argue so I just paid and left, but there's no receipt for me to get a refund since it's all cash. I'd be less upset if I didn't basically pay full price for someone to completely change my style without my permission and now I have to start growing back what took me 5 months to achieve. All I can say is don't let these stylists rush you like I was. And be double triple extra clear and assertive about if you don't want them to cut off length, because even though what o easier for should have been a quick fade to the sides he cut off like all the curls I spent months trying to grow. read more

Just moved back to the area. I saw a lot of good reviews on Sunny. So I thought I'd check it out. I walked in and Sunny had someone in his chair. But the other chair was available. I figured, why not. I'll just say it was probably one of my best haircuts. I had to ask her name. It is Sarai. So if you go in and she is there, you're in good hands. I found my new barber shop. read more

Sunny is my new favorite local barber. She's nice and friendly. She takes walk-ins. It wasn't crowded when I went (I am sure that this will change soon). Her prices are very reasonable. Best of all, she does a great job. I like that she doesn't require an hour to cut my hair, but she does take the time to make sure that it looks good. Welcome to Costa Mesa, Sunny! read more

Sunny's Barber Shop - Photographer and Barber: Sunny; Model: Me! - Barbers Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

Sunny doesn't respect her clients time. She books appointments and doesn't keep to them.

Very nice people, quick and good looking haircut. They were able to get me in right away and took care of it during my lunch hour.

Yes! Finally found a great and affordable barber shop! We called ahead about 30 minutes and were seen right away. Gigi did my son's hair and she was awesome! She did a fanatic job, great with kids - my son said it was his favorite haircut ever! We found our spot. Everyone was super nice, great experience, low key, relaxed vibe. read more

Went w/ my boyfriend for a haircut and we were greeted by Sunny. She did such a great job and is very talented. She took her time not only with cutting his hair, but trimming his brows, ear hair, nose hair etc. Prices are very reasonable and he will definitely be coming back! I used to go to Bolsa but not anymore. PROS: Very attentive/talented barbers and prices are reasonable CONS: long wait - I would call ahead of time read more

They were so amazing!!!! The barber I had was so sweet, had great conversations, and did a bomb ass job. I had a few minor corrections I needed after he showed it to me and he did it with no gripes or grumbles. They only take cash tho so be prepared! Best haircut I've gotten, definitely coming back. read more

Went there yesterday and Sunny is great at cutting hair. It was my first time there so I asked how long has she been at this. She has been cutting hair for over 22 years so she's pretty good at her craft. This is now my go-to barber shop!! read more

First time coming here and they did a superb job! The lady that cut my hair knew exactly how to cut it. I'm particular about how I want my haircut and she did not disappoint. Underrated place and they are charging what should be the amount for any man's haircut. Not these hipster barbershops charging 40++ bucks for a damn haircut and they don't even put any care into the service. The lady that cut my hair went above and beyond. She even gave me a 5 minute massage that put me in a state of relaxation. Highly recommend this place! read more

If you're looking for a fairly-priced, relaxing, good, detailed haircut then this is the spot. Sunny cut my hair and she was so efficient and did a really good job (not to mention super sweet).Reminder to everyone getting haircuts: it's your job to communicate with your barber. How are they supposed to know exactly what you want if you dont tell them what that is. I got exactly what i asked for and she delivered perfectly, I even got a shoulder massage! read more

Kind staff, TALENTED stylists, lovely salon. Highly recommend! One of my children got a full cut. The other a trim. Paid same price, but I blame Biden. Check them out! read more

I came here last minute on a Wednesday evening a couple days before the holidays without an appointment and Sunny was able to hook me up with a fresh fade! Big shout out to her amazing customer service and prompt service. She is super friendly and did an amazing job. Haircut was 22$ before tip. 100% would recommend everyone to come try this place out at least once. read more

A welcoming and a reasonably priced barbershop. Probably not what the hipsters want but I only care about getting a good haircut not an overpriced shop with pretentious barbers and decor. Tom was meticulous and did a great job. I will definitely be coming back! read more

Great hidden barbershop , looks like may be family owned but great energy and attention to detail . Not the best hair cut i've received but they were willing to accommodate because i was in need of an urgent haircut . i get a burst fade typically w an angled back which most barbers have had difficulty with , not here . pops did a great job , if you're in the area and looking for something easy reliable and quick . come check in @ sunny's ! read more

Very detailed. I miss Oscar though! Love the straight razor and the neck massage at the end!

If you're looking for an awesome cut, look no further! Sunny and Oscar run the shop and they are really great people who know what they're doing. They literally treat you like family and are very genuine people. The prices are great and Sunny even gives you a neck/back massage at the end! I'm definitely coming back and bringing friends and family! read more

I usually take my sons down to the salons in Bolsa where most Vietnamese people go for their hair cuts, because 1) it's cheap and 2) asian people know what asian boys like, lol. Only problem with Bolsa is that I HATE going down there because it's always so busy and crowded! So, when I saw this little barber shop, I decided to have my boys try it out, especially because it's so close to home, the price is almost as cheap as Bolsa, and they are asian hair-dressers! Both my sons seem to like them and are happy with their haircuts, and we've tried both Sunny and Oscar (i think that's his name). Hey, if I don't have to brave the traffic in Bolsa on a Saturday, that's a win for me! Sunny also has mentioned that she can cut women's hair, so I think I may have to give her a try, at least once. I'll keep you posted! read more

Had a great experience and loved my cut one if my favorite spot to cut my hair now and it's location is so close to my house ! Love it !

Been going to Sonney for years. She is amazing! She cuts all of my friends hair. Wonderful customer service, and always has a smile on her face. She has a great eye for talent hence the people that work here are also very talented barbers. She's one of those barbers that you just have her life. She will never disappoint! read more

Sunny used to cut my son's hair at a barber shop in Fountain Valley. She was always so cheerful, welcoming and kind to every client who walked through the door. There was no question that we would follow her to her new barber shop! She has been the only one who could cut my son's hair without nicking or scratching him with a buzzer. She always cuts his hair perfectly...never a complaint! My son LOVES getting his haircut with Sunny...She is the BEST!!! read more

I told sunny to ONLY cut a little of my hair. She cut my hair way to short, also she trimmed my mustache without asking, also being 66 years old, i did not get a senior citizens discount.$18.00 is to expensive for a barber shop. I will not be back. read more

He didn't give me the haircut I asked for‍. I was facing the wall/tv instead of a mirror, and by the time he was done & turned me around to show me, I did not have any time left for him to re-do the whole thing. Would not recommend, I won't be back. read more

If you want a good haircut ask for Sunny and only Sunny. She's the only one who can cut hair and do a good job. Take my advice and don't let the guys here cut your hair. read more

Sunny and Oscar are the best, reasonable price, fast, great job. Way better job than those fancy barbershops. They are new, and I believe that's the only reason that the place is not crowded yet, it will change soon. They deserve to be best. By the way, they accept only cash so bring some cash money. She was so lovely that she told me to go and pay next time if I don't have any cash on me. read more

Upon arrival I ask how much for grandsons haircut snd Sunny says$18 then said $20. Maybe because he's hair long. He says he likes but first quote should be the price instead of change it. read more
