I took it first to Gratiot Auto Center where they charged me $98 to tell me what I already knew, and they wanted $98 more to diagnose it more. My sister told me about Eastpointe Auto so I decided to take it there. Not only did they figure out what was wrong but they did it in a very timely fashion (only a matter of a few hours). Their diagnostic fee ($48) was much nicer on my wallet too. EAC gets 2 thumbs up from me, and I'll refer all my friends.

Excellent, Honest, and trustworthy. I haven't used them a…read morelot... yet. But every time I have, they've been honest and very reasonably priced, and very nice to deal with! It started roughly a year ago when I bought my wife's latest car. It had a shimmy at anything over 65 MPH. We'd had the tires balanced at four times by a tire store. Still the shimmy continued. I took it to 9mile & 94 mobile and the REAL problem was solved within a few hours. One of the tires was out of round. The charge for finding this problem $20.00! The tire in question was close to needing replacement anyway, so we got a new set, and now... It drives like a dream, Literally! When I bought the car it was a bit sluggish. I chalked it up to a small 4 cylinder. This was my first time using them, I was referred to them by a friend. Turns out two of the four coil packs were bad, the other two were questionable. When they showed me the old parts, there was no doubt. (I am pretty mechanically inclined and have rebuilt more than a few cars in my younger days). The repair price, roughly $450. Well worth it! (coil packs aren't cheap) The increase in power was very noticeably better. The car in question is a 2008 Saturn Astra. There aren't too many around. I am taking a newly acquired car for an inspection to them soon. I have the utmost confidence that I will be treated with the same honesty and fairness as my last visits!
