New ownership. Renovation looks great! I went there because my check engine oil light went on. Mia, the owners daughter,said it was probably a sensor that had to be reset after the last oil change. She had a mechanic reset it and checked the oil. They also checked to see if I needed new brake pads, as Mercedes recommendedlast time I was there. My brake pads were 50% used and I did not need new pada. They also put air in one of my tires. No charge . I tipped the mechanic, that is great customer service! read more

Under new ownership. Brought my car for inspection and they repaired a couple of minor issues and even did some extra work on the body where my front door had been compromised! Did a great job and super nice, knowledgeable people to work with! I highly recommend. read more

Eastern Tire is under NEW ownership...... Like NIGHT and DAY..... before they had reopened just the fact that the entire property was cleared and cleaned we were so stoked to patronize and support the new owners. They are just AWESOME....the first thing people raved about was the floor inside... Holy cow you have to stop in and just check that out. We had our car detailed and serviced and what an incredible job they did... they are very reasonably priced as well.... You will NOT be disappointed and it is great to support new businesses as well... read more

NO RATING. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Eastern Tire charged me $150 for a new tire valve for my driver's side front tire. It confirmed that my valve was leaking and that was the reason I had to keep topping off my tire every couple of weeks. They ordered the part, called me when it arrived, and I made an appointment for installation. I waited, as usual, in the very dirty, cold, uncomfortable area where a couple of broken down chairs share space with old tires, new tires, tools, trash, etc. I paid $150. A couple of weeks later I had to put air in the tire. A couple of weeks later I had to put air in the tire--again. I returned to Eastern Tire. They said, you need a new tire valve for $150. I said I just got a new tire valve for $150. They said that was for the passenger-side tire. I said you installed the valve on the wrong tire. They said well, we don 't have information in our records here that says which side the new valve was for. They refused to order another part and install it in the driver's side tire. They would only replace the faulty tire valve if I paid another $150. When I asked for my $150 back, they refused. Funny thing is, the tire valve part cost less than $50 at BMW Southampton, and together with installation, the cost was less than $100. Beware of poor service and shoddy workmanship. read more

I got a flat and pulled in to Eastern Tire for help. The woman who runs it is foul and nasty. I asked if they could quickly change the tire for the spare. She refused, happily. I went to the gas station across the street to All-Star Auto Repair. It was like night and day. So nice and helpful. AVOID EASTERN TIRE. They should be out of business. read more

Great experience. I brought my vespa in for them to take a look at. I was concerned about an oil leak and I also wanted to get it inspected . I interacted w about five different employees at the shop n every one was super cool, helpful and friendly. Plus Peggy gave me a thorough explanation as to why fluid was coming out of a drain tube and that it was nothing to worry about. Totally honest and fair with their pricing. There was no extra nonsense or a feeling they were trying sell me on something else which can often be the case w other shops on my experience. Anyways I wanted to give some love to this crew cause I saw some of the reviews. Peggy may come off a lil ruff on the phone I found her humorous but she was really nice and informative in person. If I could give a -negative star rating I would. What horrible customer service from the desk. Just a rude, Grumpy woman. I didn't get the service I came for because they didn't want to accept my credit card payment for a screw remove and plug repair. Probably want cash for certain things just to not pay taxes. I have taken my car here a few times. I got a NYS inspection, new brakes, an oil change and had a crack in my exhaust fixed. The prices are reasonable and the work has held up. This is a road side garage and not a luxury experience. But for my beater exactly what I needed. I will continue to go back. Also I did not find the owner to be anything but helpful. She isn't a chatty person but is able to clearly communicate what I need to know about my car and keeps good track of appointments. If you are looking for a hug with your car service or a new best friend this may not be the garage for you. read more

Went here a few times... The lady who works the desk always seems annoyed, almost as if she's "doing you a favor" when you come into the shop. The first time I brushed it off assuming maybe she had a bad day, but after multiple encounters I've realized she's just not meant for customer interaction. I've never given this lady a hard time, from the first encounter of asking who to leave my keys with the eye rolling immediately started. Not to mention she tried telling me they don't take credit/debit, only cash. She went on to complain that "people these days only carry cards and it's annoying cause it costs them money to use anything other than cash". With that being said she charged extra as to cover the funds since I had nothing but a card on me. Still was polite and didn't give her a hard time about it, she still seemed as though she wasn't satisfied. And after getting a nail removed from my tired and getting plugged, it only took a few days for it to deflate back down. Too bad I didn't have time to review their reviews!!! We blew a tire and was looking for a replacement. A camper store recommended them and we took to drive as there were no bigger tire stores in the area. Their worker was SO rude and dismissive. He claimed they were closed although the garage was still open and when asked where else I would be able to find another tire place...just answered we are closed. No attempt to try to help. When the other woman with him tried to offer an answer he quickly shut her up. What is wrong with people! Going over and beyond and that extra mile is what makes you a good business. I have used Eastern Tire a number of times over the last ten years. Let's face it: Every time I go, it's because I have a flat, am inconvenienced, and pretty cranky. Eastern gets me back up and on the road quickly and efficiently -- and they're cost-conscious, unlike my Volvo dealer. Do they have gourmet bagels and free Wifi? No. Is Peggy no-nonsense, even terse? Yes. Does she know her stuff? Yes! Does she and her team get me back on the road as quickly as possible? Yes! I use her for all my tire needs, and even drive out here from the city when I need something done for the Volvo or my truck when I'm not out for the summer, and it's not an emergency. read more
