I never visited before but should have because they offer a full, traditional American-Chinese food menu. It's ironic because this restaurant is straight-carryout with 3 small tables. We loved the crispy orange chicken, mild, with hot oil on the side. The pork meefin was fine but the duck sauce made it better. Liked the egg roll. The Chinese donuts are a not-to-miss. To those who post the servings aren't as large as they used to be, I can't imagine what they used to be. We got General Tso's, Shrimp Lo Mein & egg rolls. There was enough that we were more than full & had leftovers for one lunch the next day. The entrees were great, veggies & seafood fresh. It is what it is, late night in stranger place one must eat what's available. Decent Chinese takeout, obligatory universal takeout menu, walled photos of recognizable Chinese food, late night denizens of all races coming in for their fix. Got beef with Chinese vegetables combo, fried rice and egg roll. Haven't had this type of food for a long time, I kinda drooled as I was biting into the hot greasy egg roll covered in duck sauce. All for less than 10. Would have gone to other places but it was late. Not too bad. read more

Convenient. I order ahead for take out. They deliver as well. Not an eat in place though there are a few tables for waiting. My area is in dire need of good Chinese restaurants. Eastern Panda is a welcome option in this area. I enjoy their food, especially mongolian beef and sesame chicken. My husband says the pepper chicken could have more seasoning. Consistently yummy Chinese food with fair prices? Sounds like Eastern Panda. I've been to Eastern Panda for takeout over 10 times, so I feel like it's appropriate for me to finally rate this place four stars. I am a big fan of fresh, spicy Chinese food, and EP hits the nail on the head for all of these points quite easily. Food is cooked quick, tastes fresh, and again, has all of the spice and flavor you desire. For those who don't like spicy (and quite honestly I don't why you don't), they can and will adjust the spice levels for you - but you HAVE to ask beforehand or you could end up upset. For me, I loveeee the hottest level of spice and EP knows how to turn it up just how I like it. My husband and I dine here from time to time. The food is pretty good for the most part. I always get the shrimp and broccoli and gets beef and broccoli. The shrimp is definitely better lol! The shrimp spring rolls/egg rolls are not that great. Actually, I wouldn't recommend it. There is usually only one 1/4 piece of a baby shrimp in the whole roll and it's not that tasty. Oh my! Why do businesses hire these teenagers and don't train them??? Why? They let them destroy their business!! The teen s were rude. Threw my food n everyone that was around me on the plate. The lady who answered was rude and rushed me. She argued with me over a cheese burger because I guess they don't call them that its a sandwich apparently. After I told her she needs to not be so rude she told me I can call someone else. I wanted food from here specifically, my kids like it more then other places in the area. Giving Eastern Panda 4 stars for a couple of reasons. Reason #1:The kitchen is in clear view and open. I like that. I can see how you're preparing my food. Reason #2: The times I have been in there, I have been welcomed with courtesy. I have not experienced any rude behavior from the folks that work there. The food is run of the mill Chinese carry out food, however the food is FRESH! They clean the shrimp well and they arr a nice size! There are some days when that's what the family and I crave (tonight being one of those times). This is our go-to spot. No complaints. read more

Finally found a good carryout Chinese restaurant in the area. I have lived here a long time and have been in mourning ever since the Hunan Village closed (a long time ago). Nothing was ever as good. One of the best take out spots in the area which isn't saying much. Delivery is always timely and the food is decent.

Food is ok... Not great, but not terrible either. I find myself ordering from them often because they are close by and reasonably priced. The only bad thing I can say about them is that when you call ahead to pick up your order. It is never ready. It's like they wait for you to show up to pick up the food before they make it. Family owned restaurant with friendly customer service. Jefy, Iris, Jay, Iris' husband are all very nice and go out of their way to tailor & customize my order consistently for years. Food is always fresh and tasty. Chinese family who really respects their African American and Latino customers, not just because it's good for business but because they are genuinely nice hardworking people. Delivery driver is very fast and nice too and always smiling when he arrives. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. My favorites are the mei fun noodles with delicious add-ins like fried tofu, broccoli, and scrambled eggs. Fries are fresh and crispy and never too much or too little salt. Iris will also make your egg foo Young with light savory brown sauce if you prefer no gravy. I request no bean sprouts and little opinion and it's perfect all the time. Their eggs rolls are always crisp, not greasy, and a little different because they add shrimp instead of just cabbage. My only suggestion is that they add more sweets to the menu, like maybe brownies or cookies to enjoy the entree. But they do have plain cheesecake slices. Give them a try! read more

i eat here all the time and i usually don't have a problem. i order the sesame chicken and on this day it had a few piece of hair in the food. i call back to get another order of chicken. I was polite on the phone to the women and then i was spoke to in this harsh tone on the phone as if i was trying to steal from them. i wont be eating their again. i will go to another Chinese food restaurant where I'm treated with a little bit more respected. read more
