    Burmese Pea Soup

First and foremost. Service is superb. From the heart and shows everyone cares. You're not here for ambiance. This isn't date night material. As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of Thai and Viet cuisine, I was eager to try this new twist. Not exactly in the neighborhood, but worth the hike. The pea soup is vegan and has an indescribable taste. A great one. The ginger salad is crispy and marvelous. Will get it again and again. My Lord is it good. Beef in red curry. Hmmm! A stew in a thick hearty sauce. Neither Indian nor Thai. It's a unique dish and very good. The rice noodles with tofu was also good. Nothing extraordinary. All in all, definitely coming back. Many more dishes to try out. A whole new cuisine to explore. A lovely place with lovely people.

Great gem for our weekend in Lancaster. The food was delicious and the service extremely friendly. We tried the appetizer platter to sample a variety of fried food, my favorite was the fried gourd. The batter was so light and fluffy instead of doughy. Rare to see in a deep fried dish. My absolute favorite dish was the beef salad. Perfectly seasoned and refreshing for a hot summer night. The two noodle dishes were also excellent. The owner came by to say hi at the end of the meal. He was super friendly and personable. His daughter and grandson also worked there. It's such a great family business. Highly recommend!!

Very nice dinner of a tender Beef Curry dish and a fried banana desert. A perfect bowl for a cool Fall night. The dessert was a lovely ending. Owner is super nice and friendly. It looks like the sushi and Thai dishes are good. Yet, I am always eating Burmese at a Burmese restaurant. Apparently, the owner made sushi for Wegman's for 25 years, so it is decent. My buddy liked it. All of the dishes were delicious.

Service staff was very friendly and helpful. Ambience isn't fancy but clean. Food was delicious.

This is to go food- Keh sa Keh with shrimp and the famous coconut soup with mango smoothie.

Amazing food, excellent service and staff, and very clean place. You must try this place! All the food is delicious, and they have Thai, Sushi, and Burmese! I got Keh Se kehy with shrimp heat level 5 with coconut soup at heat level 5 also. The flat noodles are melt in your mouth and the tamarind spice is so savory, you crave it! The coconut soup is creamy and rich and so delicious. Mango smoothie is a great combination too. It's like pure mango and perfectly sweet. Try it, you'll like it! Ask for Wen the owner and tell him Doug sent you.

My son and I have been going to Eastern Palace since I they opened. This review is overdue. We have always enjoyed their food and service. The owner is always checking on the guests to make sure everything went well. I noticed on my last visit some new renovations that added some nice new booths. Will back like always.

Fantastic Thai food here, some of the best I've ever had. And definitely try their Burmese dishes, so incredibly good. 10/10, highly recommend. I'll be back and we will become a regular here!

    Tea Leaf Salad

I ordered the Beef Curry and Tea Leaf Salad. The curry sauce was too watery and weak. It lacked slick mouth feel and aromatic complexity. The beef was dry and stringy from overcooking. The Tea Leaf salad I think was good for what it was. Its a flavor unfamiliar to my palate. Initially this dish had an ammonia acrid smell to it, likely because ammonia can build up when fermented items are sealed. This smell does dissipate after 15 minutes. Side note: this is why you should always let cheeses sit unsealed for 15-20 mins before serving. Overall, this place is probably highly rated for their sushi, which I did not get.

This place left me wanting more! So I'll have to come back soon. Stopped for late lunch, so was mostly empty. Ordered the Burmese Chicken and potato curry. Came with their traditional peas soup. Everything was amazing. Great flavor. Then they brought out some custard dessert. So tasty! Very reasonably priced. Better than I expected. Will be back.

    Tom Yum Seafood Soup

So on our last night in Lancaster we craved for Asian food and the closest ang high-rated we found in yelp is the Eastern Palace. My wife called them first and asked if they have dine-in available and they responded they are open for dine-in. Its a quick 5 minute drive from our hotel and when we got here to be honest nothing really fancy from its exterior look. Inside nothing fancy too but I find it a bit spacious than I expected. We sat down on a spot by the window and we were greeted by a man (probably owner) and he is friendly. He even greeted my 2 year old son in my native language and then we have a bit of chat. We are familiar with the dishes and know what to get so we dont have to ask him about what or how the dish is prepared. It took awhile before the food was served because I believe the amount of customers had gradually increased (dinner time) since we've arrived and a lot of order are getting thru the phone. Pad Thai was served first and wow how we like it a lot. Then after that came the Tom Yum soup and Burmese Chicken Curry. The soup was okay and probably its not the sane as the one tried in another asian dining place. Honestly, I am not sure what does an authentic Tom Yum taste like. A friend told me that it is like the "Sinigang" (Filipino) version. The Burmese curry I liked it and it is my first time to have it. It has its own twist of chicken curry. The egg rolls and Boba tea are good and I can tell it from the way my daughter is enjoying it. Usually when food is not up to her palate's standard she will tell me. For the dessert we had the fried banana with vanilla ice cream and its okay but not great for I find the fried banana lacking sweetness althought the preparation I must say is good. Overall, if you are in Lancaster and looking for asian food do consider this place.

By far the best Thai food I have ever had. The hospitality that My wife and I were shown is incredible. I will be back for sure.

I really love green curry but this place doesn't know what non spicy means. Like I'm not trying to eat a bottle of hot sauce.
