Unfortunately I had to use this body shop twice this year…read more The first accident was not my fault and as the other driver was also a Geico customer and clearly at fault, everything was covered. Caliber and Geico worked seamlessly together to keep me happy and informed until my car was ready. My car was completed so it looked like new. Rental car was picked up and dropped off at the shop, so one stop shopping. Very happy. Jump ahead 6 months I traded my Subaru in for a new one. With only a couple of thousand miles on the new car, I made a careless mistake and was in a minor accident that I had at least partial fault for, when i contacted Geico, I was told i could go to any body shop to have my car repaired. Why go anywhere else! A new bumper and my baby looked as good as the day I drove her off the lot. same quality service, same interaction between the insurance co/rental co/ and body shop. I really do hope I have no need for a body shop in the future, but if I do, I know where i will be going!

I do not recommend Caliber Collision at Red Mill. I brought my car in to have the rear bumper…read morereplaced and to repair damage to the rear and front passenger doors. When I picked it up the first time, I immediately noticed that the bumper had been installed incorrectly--one side sat higher than the other. When I raised this with the office manager, Emily, I was told the mismatch was because they only repaired one side of the bumper, since the damage was limited to the right side. However, the entire bumper had been removed, so this explanation didn't make sense. There were additional issues as well. The passenger door had been painted the wrong color, and the dent that was supposed to be repaired was still there. I brought the car back for further work. When I returned a second time to pick it up, the situation had actually worsened. They had repainted part of the car, but the color variant still didn't match--now one side of my car is visibly darker than the other. Overall, communication was lacking--I had to call multiple times for updates, and each time I received inconsistent information. Additionally, the quality of the repairs and attention to detail were subpar and quite disappointing.

I was traveling through town and the vehicle I rented got bumped and back bumper was dislodged…read moresome. I was stressed out about getting it fixed while here in Delaware. I went to 3 other places before coming here. The first two wouldn't look at it. The 3rd said come back in 5 hours. I went just 200 yards further and luckily found Newark Toyota World Collision Center. I walk in and two gentlemen greet me enthusiastically "How can we help?" I tell them my situation and how I'm here only today. One of the two, Sean says right away, "Let's go take a look!". I show Sean the damage. He uses his hand and knee some and literally fixes the entire issue! He completely resolved the issue in less than a minute! The other place was asking if I wanted to involve insurance. Sean and Newark Toyota World Collision Center literally resolved my issue and made my day! Sean and team rock! I highly highly recommend Newark Toyota World Collision Center for any bodywork.

They told me to contact the people who operate with the SOS Button. So, I went out to my Handicap Accessible 2020 Toyota Sienna and pressed the SOS button. A voice states that the SOS button is not active, press the button again within 5 seconds and someone will answer. So I did that, explained my dilemma and they said, "I show your account is active and I can see your location." I told them that I should not need to press the button twice in an emergency. They said take your car to Toyota. So I did, and Toyota said they can't do anything but if I pay $170 they'll diagnose it. I agree and it still doesn't work. Fast forward to January 2024, I am at ToyotaWorld about a different issue; Costco said they had to clean off a lot of rust on my wheel hub and main connectors, warning my wheels could come loose and come off while driving. I also told my service advisor about the SOS button still not working and that I've called a number of times and sent several emails about this issue as I paid $170 to have the SOS button diagnosed, etc. etc. and my headlights in auto will randomly turn off (not talking about switching between high and low beam). He says that'll be $170 for the SOS diagnostic and $170 for the headlights issue. I said NO, I paid for the SOS already and it still isn't working, and being the light are intermittently you'll take the $170 and say you couldn't get it to do as described. Today around 8:15 a.m. the service advisor called and said the cars ready, SOS button is fixed. A module just had to be reset. And the rust the tech saw was not a lot. I picked up my car around 10:30 -11:00 a.m.. requested a meeting with a manager and was told no one was available but either Jason or Derrick will call me in an hour or two. I got home and decided to check the SOS button. No lights on and when I pressed it, now I get nothing. I pressed it several times, it dead. And now it 13:30 and I still haven't received a call. I did also call the service advisor and left a message requesting a call back. No calls this far. I would find a different dealer, and I think I will in the future since they obviously don't care about their customers. Years ago I had a similar problem with them, finding them not trustworthy. Well, unless things change, I'll take my car to PA and pay sales tax to get away from the owners of Price and ToyotaWorld, since they're owned by the same people.
