This body shop was one of the most unprofessional businesses I have ever dealt with.
What was initially represented as a two-week repair turned into more than six months. During that time, we were given repeated excuses and very little meaningful communication regarding the status of the repairs. We also incurred significant rental car expenses because the vehicle was unavailable for such an extended period.
In addition to the delays, the owner appeared to have difficulty working with the insurance company, which created complications with my son's claim. In our experience, he was not truthful with either us or the insurance company regarding the status and quality of the repairs.
When we first got the truck back, another issue surfaced immediately that was related to the original accident and should have been identified during the repair process.
More importantly, the problem that was missed created a serious safety hazard and could have caused my son to lose control of the truck and potentially total it.
After the truck was returned a second time, the owner stated that he had fixed the issue causing the dashboard warning lights. However, less than 10 miles after leaving the shop, the same lights came back on. We later learned that the underlying issue had not been properly repaired.
Because of the condition the truck was returned in, we had to take it immediately to another repair shop. The vehicle could not even pass inspection or be properly tagged in the condition this shop left it.
Despite the significant problems, the owner refused to accept responsibility for the incomplete repairs. Between the excessive repair costs, additional rental expenses, and the cost to have another shop correct the work, this experience cost us approximately $10,000 more than it should have.
Customer service was equally disappointing. The owner became confrontational during phone conversations, would scream and even cry and when things escalated he would pass the communication to his wife rather than handle directly.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend this shop. There are many other established body shops that provide better communication, more professional service, and repairs you can trust. read more
