I paid an extra $550 for a surface reconditioning package that includes sanding the truck body not just a scuff. I also paid an extra $299 for a sealer coat sprayed on entire body before painting it. Total cost for above work and painting the truck bed cap at $550 was $3854.92 I received call truck was ready for pick on Friday so I let them know I will pick up Saturday. I had a ride drop me off Saturday morning to pick it up. When the counter person asked me your picking up your truck? The caps not on it yet and not washed. I told the lady on Friday I was picking up and said the cap will be installed and cleaned. Luckily Eric helped me install the cap but truck was so dusty you could not tell of any bad imperfections. After home and cleaned it up I noticed the bumper was never removed to paint behind that I paid extra for, the tailgate was never sanded still had uneven areas, you could see old painted pin strip lines under new paint along with several other areas you can see were never sanded before painting after paying the extra $550 for the surface reconditioning.(only scuff job ?) After stopping in twice and several phone calls (even talked with the owner) about what they are going to do no reply has been made. The only thing she said when I did talk with her was bring it in we will remove the bumper now and spot paint it but nothing about the no sanding they forgot to do or the call back promise a week ago on resolving the problems. Why take it back for something that should have been completed the first time and I don't trust them now to work on it or do it correctly. As I have read a few reviews now with similar problems I would advise you DO NOT take your vehicle here unless you only want a subpar job. You DO NOT get what you paid for and really at this point not sure of the quality of paint material used. I asked for the best and told ppg delton was being used but pretty sure now it was cheap paint and probably won't last. I hate to give bad review but I hate even more when a company rips you off of your hard earned money and does not do work you paid for or reply back to solve the problems. Hopefully something happens to change my mind about them but now feel that 5 year warranty is probably worthless as well. I will seek advice on what can be done moving forward.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at this Maaco…read morelocation. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I entrusted my vehicle to this shop with the expectation that the work would be completed properly and professionally. Unfortunately, the issues I experienced have not been resolved. I dropped my car off for service on August 10. On August 12, Eric contacted me and advised that the clear coat was not to his satisfaction and that the vehicle would need to remain at the shop until Friday. I picked up my vehicle on August 14 around noon and returned home at approximately 1:09 p.m. Shortly afterward, while cleaning my vehicle, I noticed extreme overspray on multiple areas, including the rims, bottom door panel, windows, driver-side rear door handle, and the area around the windows. I immediately contacted Maaco and spoke with Ty'jay (my apologies if I didn't spell her name correctly), who assured me that the issue could be corrected and instructed me to bring the vehicle back on Monday. On August 17 at 7:58 a.m., I returned my car to Maaco in good faith, expecting the overspray issues to be properly addressed. Later that day, at approximately 3:14 p.m., I received a call stating that my vehicle was ready for pickup. When my friend and I arrived around 4:20 p.m., the vehicle was not ready, and I had to wait more than 30 minutes. Once Eric brought the car around, I immediately noticed that the bottom door panel and rims still had not been corrected. In addition, the driver-side rear door handle appeared to have been damaged, with paint stripped from the area, and there was white residue between the front driver-side panel. These conditions were unacceptable and did not reflect that the vehicle had been properly repaired. On August 18, I spoke with Ty'jay again, and the proposed resolution was for me to bring the vehicle back once more so Maaco could attempt to fix the problem. However, that is not an acceptable resolution at this point. I returned the vehicle on August 17 specifically so these issues could be corrected, yet the problems remain and additional damage appears to have occurred. I am no longer comfortable leaving my car with this shop again.
