I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I entrusted my vehicle to this shop with the expectation that the work would be completed properly and professionally. Unfortunately, the issues I experienced have not been resolved. I dropped my car off for service on August 10. On August 12, Eric contacted me and advised that the clear coat was not to his satisfaction and that the vehicle would need to remain at the shop until Friday. I picked up my vehicle on August 14 around noon and returned home at approximately 1:09 p.m. Shortly afterward, while cleaning my vehicle, I noticed extreme overspray on multiple areas, including the rims, bottom door panel, windows, driver-side rear door handle, and the area around the windows. I immediately contacted Maaco and spoke with Ty'jay (my apologies if I didn't spell her name correctly), who assured me that the issue could be corrected and instructed me to bring the vehicle back on Monday. On August 17 at 7:58 a.m., I returned my car to Maaco in good faith, expecting the overspray issues to be properly addressed. Later that day, at approximately 3:14 p.m., I received a call stating that my vehicle was ready for pickup. When my friend and I arrived around 4:20 p.m., the vehicle was not ready, and I had to wait more than 30 minutes. Once Eric brought the car around, I immediately noticed that the bottom door panel and rims still had not been corrected. In addition, the driver-side rear door handle appeared to have been damaged, with paint stripped from the area, and there was white residue between the front driver-side panel. These conditions were unacceptable and did not reflect that the vehicle had been properly repaired. On August 18, I spoke with Ty'jay again, and the proposed resolution was for me to bring the vehicle back once more so Maaco could attempt to fix the problem. However, that is not an acceptable resolution at this point. I returned the vehicle on August 17 specifically so these issues could be corrected, yet the problems remain and additional damage appears to have occurred. I am no longer comfortable leaving my car with this shop again.
